I usually go by Sai, as Ma is a surname. Chinese lesson! Last names are first just like in Japan! Gosh I'm so excited for a post, weeeeee!

I'm about 75% Chinese by blood. But I was brought up following the 25% Filippino side. Bree's the real Chinese one though. biggrin
Haha xD Yeah. DKay's a jerk. Sometimes I think he does need a good slap in the face just to remind him he's not the boss. So, don't mind him too much, Sai.
And yeah...moving the story along would be great. >>

Oh gooness, I can't speak a lick of chinese, I just find it fascinating as much as otaku love Japan. I like it too, don't get me wrong, but I'm not too obsessed with either. As for DKay, I can handle him. Aethan however...I'm totally crushing on him and I'm afraid that it might show in how I write my character. He's just so learned!

You poor, poor babies, never understanding the true joy of learning Chinese (Multiple tones plus the lack of an alphabet make it difficult to learn to speak/understand and read/write so you're missing out on sooo much fun! */sarcasm* I actually do like knowing Chinese, I just don't like the process of retaining my knowledge since it disappears so quickly when it's not in use.)
Well maybe I'll find some way for Kaiya to get back at DKay later... He really does need a good wake up call. xD
Lolol. I think it would be really funny if your character started crushing on Aethan, Sai. rofl
Hm... Well, I suppose I could write up a post with Kaiya noticing that some guards seem to be moving in the direction of the boys' little tiff and have her sound a bit of an alarm to get people moving away from the lake. It's just a bit hard with a group as big as ours. @.@

Oh, I hope not till someone notices my guy, he's quiet enough as it is, he might just let them leave.

Hm... then I'll hold off for a bit until after enmy posts for DKay. If she doesn't notice your character, then I'll have Kaiya put away the mirror and notice the random warrior-esque person who seems to be heading towards them. Kaiya seems to be meeting all the new people who want to join them. First Aethen, and now your character if DKay doesn't do it first. xD
Oh geez... you're going to be one of those very punny people, aren't you? Lol, oh well. You and Raeyna should get along well with your puns... And I didn't say that Aethen would like/approve of the crush, just that it would be incredibly funny. wink

Huzzah for finishing my only final and being done for the semester. Except for a few work shifts and stuff.
Anyway...
Posting would be awesome. I think I've actually got some semblance of a post responding to Aethen, but I feel like I was waiting on a few other people to post again because it was all short and stuff.

Yay! You're done! Are you graduating this year or not yet? I don't remember who went to uni when anymore. I can barely keep track of myself.
Mm... I think we were all kind of waiting for someone or another, which is how we ended up with nobody posting (besides the fact that we all got busy with finals)

It's really incredible. Like...I still have a whole year left and I'm sad that it's going to disappear so quickly.
And then there are all the people I know who are graduating now and in December and it's kind of sad.
But still, it's got to be exciting, right? Any idea of what you're going to do next?

Well, I'm taking a year off and hoping to get an internship or a job in something chemistry related, because I'm not really sure that I want to do chemistry for the rest of my life and I want to be sure before investing in graduate school. So yeah, after working a while I'll hopefully figure out whether I want to go back to school and/or what I want to do with my life.

So I said I was going to write a long post for DKay...but decided that it wasn't worth it. I don't agree with the idea that long posts make you an advanced literate and time is much more worth it than trying to show off to you guys xD
@ Sai: I dunno. I think you should go for it with Aethen. I'd be interested to see what happened with it.
And basically. Bree's going to write an awesome novel and everyone's going to love it and then she's going to be as famous as J.K. Rowling and be richer than the Queen of England. Just sayin'. ;D
