"I'm fine, Edward. Banshee?" Mimicry asked. Tossing the empty gun, she pulled out her parasol and drew the blade. "If it comes down to it, I'll copy myself. There's strength in numbers." Sometimes, she'd forget she could do that. There was a reason she was called Mimicry.

Alice was still 'dead' and blood poured slowly down Edward's shoulder.

Banshee looked at Mimicry, and let out a cough, wondering why she didn't do it before.

Edward just nodded at Banshee and didn't even really hear Mim. "I'm going to go take her somewhere safe, do what you two have to do." Edward moved slowly, bleeding from his back, and the weight of Alice. After only getting a few floors down, he had to stop, and moved into an empty room, where he laid Alice down on the table.

Mimicry smiled slightly. "I forget sometimes. Besides, it'd be no fun, no challenge if I just gang-banged all my enemies." She sighed. "Sorry."

Banshee shrugged, "It's alright." Walking over to her, she asked, "Help me go over the bodies? If nothing else, we can collect weapons, ammunition, and maybe some uniforms if it comes down to us having to send some of our people in."

"Of course, Banshee." She said. "I just hope Edward will be alright. Should we check on him? And Lanius? He COULD be dead. It is unlikely, but still..."

Edward slumped down against the wall, leaving a blood trail on his way down. "Damn that man." he looked up at Alice, on the table. "Please be ok."

Banshee said, "We can check on Edward, or split with one for him and one for Lanius. So far, we just don't know what the real level of danger is at the moment. And when I looked out, he was gone.... so chances are, we would just be leaving Edward and Alice open for another attack if we left to look for him."

She nodded, and walked down the hall to the stairs, following the trail of blood.

Edward had lost a good deal of blood before the wound on his back healed. Light headed he tried to stand up but fell again. After giving himself a minute he tried again, and got himself up into a chair next to Alice.

The wound in Alice's head had closed enough that Alice could open her eyes, but she couldn't speak or move, let alone comprehend much, only stare up at Edward and smile. "E..." She tried, but frowned. She'd need more time to heal.

Walking into the room, Banshee was glad to see Alice was awake.

Edward smiled and kissed Alice's cheek. "It's ok, let it heal first, don't strain."
