Well no, not all new friends.
I just have this "group of friends" that I spend most of my time with, but I seem to vent to Mike about them a lot and always are upset about them. He's told me to stop hanging out with them, but I just can't bring myself to let go of them because I've been friends with them for so long.
And of course I consider you a friend! We just don't get to talk that often!

Maybe you could get MORE friends? Not completely ditch the ones you have now just add on? Like a house, ya know? Add a second story or a garage?
I'm probably the only person to relate friendship to a friggin' house!
