"I like it here." He said, cuddling into the man's embrace. "Besides, I think I already found someone." This last part was whispered quietly to himself. He halfway wanted the man to hear, though halfway he didn't, in fear of rejection.

His hand was trembling as he stroked the boy's hair, more to calm his own nerves down. "Ah, is it a nice person? Who is he? Is he from work?" he asked, trying to ignore the pain he felt in his chest. Synei began to move away a little, realizing that the kid already liked someone. He obviously had no chance whatsoever now.

Dai held him still by wrapping his arms around his middle, cuddling him. "He's from work, yeah." He answered, practically purring at the feel of his fingers in his hair. "He was kind of mean at first...but he's pretty nice to me now."

Synei's heart skipped a beat, and he tried not to hope, but when the boy moved closer, he froze, swallowing thickly, his voice slightly hoarse when he asked, "His name?" He looked down at the kid, wondering if the kid could also hear his loud heartbeat as he ran some more of the fine hair through his fingers.

He smiled, chuckling gently. "It'd be too easy to just give you his name, Shi-kun." He told the man, "You should guess instead. It's more fun."

A half-pout, half-frown came over his face and he frowned, "Do I know them?" he asked softly, "What is the last letter of their name or something?" he asked, his heart still racing. He didn't want to wait to find out it wasn't him.

"Yes, you know them. And the last letter it an 'I.'" He said, giggling gently at the pout on his face, peeking up at him from his spot in his lap.

[Omg, I'm soo sorry, my dad totally came over and kicked me off in the middle of my post! crying ]
His mouth parted and he took in a shaky breath, "It.. can't possibly be me." he whispered, sitting up quickly and looking away from the kid, his arms folding on top of his knees as he tried to get a hold of himself. The kid couldn't possibly.. no, he couldn't get his hopes up. Squeezing his eyes shut, he tried to ignore how his heart had jumped. All the kids clues fit, but how.. "How could you possibly like me?!" he yelled, bringing his hand up into his long hair and keeping it there, "What, are you crazy?!" he added in a sharp voice. It seemed as though his whole body was trembling and he couldn't seem to stop it. Tears began to form in his eyes and he shut them tighter, not wanting to seem weaker than he already was seeming.

Dai sat up as well and moved over, settling on his lap so that he was straddling him. He wrapped his arms around his neck and leaned forward, bringing their faces close. "I do get that a lot..." He whispered before gently pressing their lips together in a brief kiss.

Synei let out a soft moan as he felt the boys soft lips against his own. Reaching up with his hands, he cupped the boy's cheeks during the small kiss. Looking up at the kid, he frowned, his heart still racing, "You.. you really..." He smiled a little, shaking his head, "Like me..." he murmured, one of his hands moving down to rest at Dai's lower back, "I really.. don't know what you see in me.." he muttered, leaning forward to place another soft kiss against the kid's mouth.

Dai pressed himself closer. Pulling away, he cuddled against the man's chest and gazed up at him through slightly-lidded green eyes. "I'm just glad you like me too. I kinda thought you hated me."

Synei chuckled and buried his face against Dai's neck, breathing in the boy's soft scent. "I think I was just annoyed.." he murmured, his tongue flickering out to touch the kid's soft skin before he pressed a small kiss there, pulling the boy closer against his body. Closing his eyes, he tried to memorize how it felt to have Dai in his arms, after all every moment the boy gave him was precious and he wouldn't want to waste it. Surely the boy would get tired of him eventually and would leave, so he might as well make sure to remember the times when they were together, he supposed.

Dai smiled and nuzzled the man's neck in return, giggling gently. "Well I'm glad you aren't annoyed anymore." He said, moving his hips to get more comfortable. "Now that we like eachother, I can call you beautiful and you can't say anything."

Synei grumbled, "Urgh.. please, anything but beautiful. It sounds like some cheesy fifties movie." he muttered, kissing up the boy's neck slowly. "Even.. Shi-chan would be better than that." he said, though his face screwed up in a way that showed he didn't like that either. He nipped at the boy's earlobe playfully before looking into Dai's green ones, smirking.

"What name do you like?" He asked, chuckling to himself. He brought one hand to the man's face and cupped his cheek then, his thumb gently rubbing against the smooth skin.
