Bronzepaw hesitated. "Um...I don't know. Maybe some monsters are edible, though? I bet the one I found would be edible if it didn't have that silver skin on."

Leopardpelt purred. "I wouldn't get too close if it was moving though." She turned away to check on her herb supply. Not much left, if Leafbare doesn't end soon, we'll be in trouble.

"Well, if it wasn't moving, then I would see if I could eat it. I think if a Twoleg's not on it, it doesn't work. It's odd!" Bronzepaw mewed happily.
Crystaleye ran onto ThunderClan territory, searching for the camp. "Where is it!?"

Leopardpelt thought about what Bronzepaw said. "That is wierd, maybe I'll ask Starclan about it the next half moon..." She trailed off as she pondered what she would say.
"Wait Crystaleye!" Crystaleye had sped ahead of her. She was trying to catch up. "Wouldn't it be better to try to see if they had even come here?"

 I said you just don't know...Icestar stiffened. Something didn't feel right. "Spicepelt! Wait here. No one leaves camp." She glanced at Bronzepaw, giving her a special warning. "Leafstorm!" she called out, figuring he was in the nursery. ...how hard it is to not be by your side, every night.

Spicepelt followed Icestar's glance, and nodded. "Of course." She murmured, walking over to sit at the entrance.
Bronzepaw looked up. "Can you tell StarClan I say hi?" She mewed cheerfully.
Crystaleye hesitated. "You're right. Let's wait here." She sat down, her tail flicking. "I hope they don't think we're invading, but I don't scent RiverCaln here, so we're the only ones..."

"I can, but you can tell them yourself." Leopardpelt smiled and continued. "Starclan knows all, you can tell them everything you want them to know and they'll hear you. You probably wouldn't be able to hear their response though." She purred at the apprentice's cheerfulness.
Ravenfang caught up to Crystaleye and plopped down into the snow, breathing hard. "You...run...too...fast..." She caught her breath and calmed her heartbeat down. "I wasn't saying we shouldn't look. The snow will make it hard to track Sunpaw, but I'm sure that Thunderclan has come by here. If we can find a scent it might lead us back to their camp."

Bronzepaw looked confused for a moment, then looked at the sky. She yowled as loud as she could, "HI, STARCLAN? CAN YOU HEAR ME? HIIII!" Then she walked in the medicine cat's den. "Didja think they heard me?"
Crystaleye purred. "Mother always said I was much more suited to WindClan. Anyway, let's just keep going." She wandered around the territory.

Leopardpelt tried to contain her amusmenent. "I'm sure they did, Bronzepaw. I'll be sure to get their answer for you the next time I see them."
Ravenfang stood up and started to scent around the border. She found a big pile of snow near a tree and sniffed it. "Hey, Crystaleye, I think I have something here."

((Ok hi guys... so most of you know the story from Riverclan.. and apprentice Sunpaw has fallen into the river and Dampfoot (the deputy) along with Mooneye (a blind elder) have crossed the border to try and find the the young cat. Just to fill you in... if Sunpaw or Dampfoot have posted here it'd be very helpful if you could point me in the direction of their post thankyou!))
Mooneye had no problem keeping up. She knew they were close when she could hear the river's strong current. I can see why Sunpaw got swept away. Mooneye lifted her nose into the air to see if she could catch a scent but all she could smell was the river and Dampfoot. She felt her way very carefully across the bridge keeping her nose to the ground so she could smell exactly where Dampfoot had stepped and could follow so that she didn't accidentally walk straight off the edge. When she had crossed she sensed Dampfoot's waiting presence and nodded. She quickly fell into a crouch, knowing that they were no longer in their own territory. She followed Dampfoot close behind and waited for some sort of signal. She also kept a wide ear open for Sunpaw, she was sure she would be able to hear her.

Bronzepaw smiled, her tail flicking. "Is it true evvvvery single star in the sky is a warrior? There's not that many warriors that have died, is there?"
Crystaleye nodded. "Follow it to camp." She murmured, following the scent trail. Yes, she lost it a few times, but she found it until she arrived at the entrance. "Come on!" She mewed excitedly, walking through into the camp, and mewing, "Um...hello? We come peacefully from RiverClan to make sure our apprentice-Sunpaw-is alright. Is she? Is she even here?"

Icestar spun around, hissing. "What are you doing here!?" she spat, lunging forward to knock the RiverClan cat off her feet. Her fur was bristling. "How dare you enter my camp without an escort! Who sent you?"

Crystaleye put her ears flat agaisnt her head. "W-we sent two cats from RiverClan to come here, but they haven't come back yet. Me and Ravenfang were worried that foxes or dogs had gotten them! And Sunpaw...what if you guys haven't found her? She'd probaly be dead by now! So, the RiverClan cats haven't come here yet, have they?" She was clearly submissive. "And..uh...no one sent us. Dampfoot's going to be sooo mad."
Bronzepaw looked around, seeing new cats. She ran over, the pain in her leg becoming worse. "Hiiii! Who're you? You smell like fish! Can you swim? I asked Sunpaw but she didn't answer anything, and, besides, I'd rather ask a warrior who knows a lot! So do ya? What are you doing here? If you're invading I'm gonna claw your fur off!"

Ravenfang stepped up next to Crystaleye. "We're telling the truth! Our apprentice has gone missing and the warriors who we sent to come get her have dissapeared. We couldn't even scent them at the border." She glanced briefly at the Thunderclan apprentice that had bounded up to greet them. Then she returned her gaze to the frightening glare of Icestar.
Leopardpelt causiously watched what they would do.
