Monty growled and glared daggers over his shoulder. "Do you really want me to tell you? Fine, you asked." Turning around, he crossed his arms over his chest with a cold look. "Why don't you go find yourself an ugly male, that way you won't feel like you have to compete with insignificant people."

Looking over at the other man, he shook his head quickly, "I don't want that though!" Kalore didn't understand why Monty was saying this. He knew that somehow he needed to get Monty to understand his point of view, that way they could at least understand one another, but... "I don't want to find someone else, Monty..." Voice soft, the elf continued to watch the man, biting his lip softly. "Why are you saying that?"

"Obviously you can't get it through your head that I'm not going after another one. Not some female with pointy ears or some female who doesn't have them. Clearly, you feel as if you have to compete with those females for heaven knows what reason." He growled and turned around to drink some more water.

So that's what it was... Sighing softy, Kalore continued to watch the other, "And obviously you're thinking that you're competing with Rave. Monty, I don't... I don't get why you'd think that about the other... but I don't like the idea of another girl that I know is beautiful and obviously any girl that looks at you pretty much wants you... Like, not Gam or Kit... but most women aren't like that. If you don't like me being near Rave... I don't know what it is that you're wanting and why you got so mad, Monty."

Monty slammed his fist on the counter. "Forget it. Just forget it and let it go." He brought one hand up to massage the bridge of his nose as a headache was starting to form. Maybe he should have stayed underground for a few days to cool off.

Frowning more, Kalore fell silent before he looked down. Of course he didn't understand this.. the man had never been with someone that liked both men and women, and that he had to feel like he was barely keeping. It wasn't that he didn't trust Monty, because he actually did trust the other more than what it was that he was saying. Kalore just felt like he wasn't good enough, or something along those lines. it was stupid, he knew... but... still.

Standing there for what seemed like forever, the demon turned around and walked passed the elf, going to his room. Getting there he sat with his face buried in his hands. This was such a mess. This could easily be considered a mistake on his part for starting something if this was how things were going to be yet he didn't feel that way. He was just angry that's all. He still wanted to continue being with the elf but at what cost?

Glancing over his shoulder, he watched as the other soon had his hands near his head, biting his lip. Kalore must have really messed up, but he just didn't know how to fix it. Glancing away once more, he sighed before moving. He couldn't leave, though. Not yet. His body just wouldn't allow it, wouldn't allow himself to just get up and leave the other without trying a few more times to just get over this mess. Now Kalore knew, though, that the other didn't like Rave... but he still didn't know why. "Why... Don't you like Rave?" His voice was soft as he was back in the kitchen, cleaning the dish that the other had had, just needing to do something.

Monty lifted his head slightly and snarled, getting up to slam the door of his room hard. The strength of the slam made the walls shake then settled. The demon was in no mood to be discussing the other male. He didn't even want to think about the other male right now, not after he was trying to not snap and blow up the whole world. "Leave me be, damnit." He snapped, laying down on his back and covering his eyes with his arm.

Jumping a bit, Kalore bit his lip harder as he soon had his head down, eyes closing a bit as he controlled himself. The other wasn't angry, as he had told Joker, but... was scared the right word? Sighing softly, he soon was doing as the other wanted, moving out his house without another word, taking out his own phone as he placed it on the other's couch, hoping that it slipped between the cushions as he moved to just go back to his house, avoiding all contact with anyone. Rave knew where he lived, but it had been a while since the other had been there, and that normally wasn't where the other ended up going when he was upset so... Hopefully Kalore would get some time himself to be alone and just to... think.

Monty closed his eyes in his dark room, trying to go to sleep....But it was no use. Just when he thought nothing could get more annoying, his phone started to go off. Getting up to pick it up, it was Kyoshi on the other line wanting his help on a serious job that was a few areas over where he was.
Staying silent, he didn't hear anything in his home and sighed. So the elf did as he said. The demon wasn't going to get any better if he was just there with thought that could make him go crazy, so he grunted his acknowledgement to Kyoshi and started to get dressed to hopefully put this thing out of his mind for a while.

Shivering a bit as he tried to ignore all thoughts, Kalore finally made it to his home, going to great lengths to make sure that he didn't end up face to face with anyone that he knew. Thankfully all of those people were in Ellwood, Harl, or Area 6... And he thankfully got there without seeing anyone. He sighed as he made it into his home, shutting and locking the door before just going upstairs. what turned out to be a great night ended up being hell for him, and he just wanted to sleep it all off... Hope that it was going to be better in the morning.. Which he doubted that it would be.

Monty didn't come home the next day. However, Kyoshi did. The demon was taking over for Kyoshi so that he could go back to his apartment to retrive more weapons. Monty was just interrogating one of the charges but it wasn't the main one that Kyoshi was sent to look for. That didn't matter, the demon had his focus on this and was actually happy doing some of this line of work.

When Kyoshi got home, he was faced with a livid Dusk. "Where the hell is he?" She herself probably shouldn't have been facing the other in the state that she was in. The job that they had done hadn't gone all that well, even if they did get what it was that they needed. Dusk now was sporting a bad cut under her eye, multiple bruises, and her whole right arm was scraped up bad. Most of the damage was blocked by her coat though, else Kyoshi would seriously flip... But, at the moment, Dusk was just concerned about one thing. Kalore hadn't come home and no one could get a hold of him. Oh, and she had been told about dinner... That definitely didn't make the woman a happy person.

Kyoshi entered the apartment with his newly lit cig, and waved at Dusk. The angel didn't stop to see Dusk as he was hurrying to get the stuff that he needed so he can finish up the job. Not that he wanted to since it was fun to play cat and mouse games with the bad guys. "Hey Dusk, I'm going to be gone for a while okay? Could you take care of the bar and Runt for me? I'll come back and do anything you want in return." He said over his shoulder, packing his duffle bag full.
