Mistress Hecate

PostPosted: Sat Nov 17, 2007 5:57 pm

Hecate tried to explain herself but he wouldn't listen. No one did. He was the same as everyone else had always been. Afraid of her. The reason she was never fully accepted by the other gods. She backed away. Rage, sarrow, and emptiness ran through her. Hecate turned and walked off. She had never been accepted anywhere she was always a danger somehow. It was no different with Cal now. She sprinted off as she got further away and dissappeared from sight.

Cal sighed, looking up at the sky and giving the moon the finger. Made him feel better. "hecate please dont!" he yelled after her, not meaning what he said...But he had hadn't he...Cal sighed, looking at Aine. "You're on your own kid..see ya." He said, turning and running towards Hecate's house. It was close to the woods...He didn't want to cut through the woods...

Hecate made it home quickly. She ran inside knocking over things and digging her claws into the wall. She was deeply hurt. Cal was no different then anyone else she had ever meet. No matter how much Cal said he loved her it wasn't fully true because of his fear. He was right though. Cal would never be able to handle her and it was clearly shown today. Hecate thought of her father now. He was the only other person who understood her. Maybe she was destined to stay his servant...

Cal reached her house, taking deep breaths of air from running through the woods, which had just about scared him to death..he had almost died in those woods like four times. Fun. He walked up to her house, feeling her father's sword on his back, where he kept it in a leather sheath. it was heavy...Cal swallowed, opening the door silently...He was so sorry...

Hecate left and went to the backyard not noticing Cal's presence. She was too upset to notice anything now. There was a small building outside which seemed to be an extension to the house. She opened the door and went inside. Hecate had to keep this place hidden for her own safety. Inside the room it seemed to be a wine cellar. tons of bottles of wine sat on shelves. Some were almost as old as her. Hecate moved a pat on the floor and jumped down into the hidden room. Her coffin layed there. Candles surrounded it and lit up the room. She opened it and layed inside. All she wanted to do was sleep for a long while. She just wanted to forget everything.

Cal walked slowly through the house, pausing in the front room where the large portrait of her family was. Cal glared at her father, noting his smug expression in the painting....Hecate looked younger..More innocent. His eyes focused on her, and he reached out to brush her face in the painting lightly with the pads of his fingers, longing for her. She'd never be back though...Not now.

"I'm sure you were just leaving right boy?" A man came forward from the darkness. He looked identical to the portrait as if he had changed one bit. His dark black eyes were just as piercing as hecate's. He smirked towards Cal and gave a laugh. "She's running around with human's now, how pathetic." He stepped closer to Cal and fierecly at him. "And what could you possibly offer a goddess?"

Cal whipped around, almost put on edge by the new voice. He set his eyes on the man, and then set his jaw in a straight line in anger...He didn't say anything though, not wanting to get killed. But he knew he would. He could see his death right around the corner..."You....You b*****d.."He said, knowing who it was. Hecate's father..."More than you could apparently." Cal said, reaching back to unsheath the sword. His sword...Ha. A human had his sword. Fight the power.

His anger greatly rose. "And what are you doing with that?" He didn't look interested in fighting. He was furious that Hecate would give his sword to someone like this. What could he possibly do with it? He looked like he could barely lift it. "You're not worth my time kid. Just go home and don't came back here. You do not have a part in her affairs." His voice was calm and cold how he always sounded. Cal wasn't much of a threat to him.

"That's what you think you a*****e.."Cal spat back at him, really just holding it so he could rub it into her fathers' face that he had it...He could remember Hecate telling him about her father. He hated him. Loathed him...Plus, the sword wasnt that heavy..he had actually trained with Wyatt with swords for a little while...and he had kicked Wyatt's a** every single time...

He just ignored Cal and walked right past him. "Sorry I got bigger problems then you." He went into the backyard sensing Hecate somewhere close. "She certainly did a good job hiding from me." He turned back to Cal and laughed hard. "But now she isn't hiding her signal from me anymore. You must have done something to her right?" He smiled more knowing it was true. "She finally realized what I told her. I'm the only one worthy of handling her."

"Because you're the only one who hurt her that much...She's afraid. That's why she cares about you." Cal said back at her, his eyes narrowed. "I dont care man...Go ******** your own daughter...I did it already.."He said angrily, sheathing the sword and starting to walk away. She didnt care about him, he didnt care about her. Cal paused, maybe he should just get himself killed...Might as well.

His anger shot up again and he appeared in front of Cal grabbing his throat harshly. He tightened his grip and lifted him off the ground with ease. "Do you even know how you are talking to?" His voice was harsh showing his anger. He threw him hard into the wall.

Cal choked, hitting the wall and almost getting knocked unconscious. "Did you just hear me?" He yelled, standing up painfully. "I dont care...You wanna kill me? Go ahead." He said, holding out his arms as if that would convince him. Her father would kill him in a second anyways....

He sneered at Cal walking to him and picking him up again. "I won't give you the satifaction of death. I have something else for you." Her smirked devilishly at Cal and dragged him along. "Now where is she boy?!" His patience was running thin.
