Whenever the alarm clock went off, he literally leaped out of bed and grabbed some kind of weapon from one of several different hiding places withing reach and proceeded to reduce the clock to a fine powder.

As a weapon aficionado, it became clear quickly in our marriage that no matter how big a sword a bought, you'd buy one bigger, thus emasculating me on a daily basis. v_v and I just couldn't take it all the time.
