"Fine by me Cinkel, where should we first? said Magnus pleasantly. Then turning to the Sheena's group he said."Want me to loan your group one of my monsters? I'll be able to control it able to control it from anywhere."

"Oh...well, see you around, Karin." Azriel waved goodbye to her as she went off. Then she turned to Magnus and said, "Gee, how timely you would offer that, since that does bring us back down to an odd number. Depends on who Oro's going with, though. But, eh..." She leaned in closer to carry out her next question in a quieter tone, "If you were to call one out, you sure it wouldn't have the urge to start beating me up? I swear, with Oscuro in me, it's like I'm perpetually carrying the effects of a Dark Bottle..." She scratched the back of her head with embarrassment.

Azriel shrugged, turning to Sheena so that she could continue in a quiet tone. "I thought the same, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Maybe it's because Oscuro manifests more often than Chiaro, so she leaves...maybe a 'scent' or an 'aura'...whatever it is, it makes monsters sense Oscuro more than Chiaro, and it compels them to just jump at me." Noticing what she perceived was an irritated sigh, she added, "Oh! I'm sorry for not catching your question earlier. Um, we're continuing our search for whoever's framing Cain. The King left us with that task, remember?"

Sheena frowned. "I dont know if we should be searching here. The theif would have left town not more then a day or two after stealing the gem. The most we will get here is a bit of information on people who have seen him. We would be lucky to run into someone who as actually seen him." She said, feeling like the downer of the group, due to always disagreeing. "We might have the best luck checking the eastern section. Its a ruined part of town where the poor live."

Azriel rubbed her chin and furrowed her brow pensively. "But of course, that makes perfect sense. Would the thief still be around here?" She looked at Sheena curiously. "Pardon, but why do you think that eastern section would be the best place to check, Sheena?"

Azriel remembered that area as well---the slums. She had taken a look into it the last time she was in Meltokio. It was where the poor dwelled, but although it seemed like a gloomy, run-down place, she was captivated by the people and their will to live---the parents who wish to work hard to provide a brighter future for their children, and the children who had such innocence and big hopes and dreams. They weren't so judgmental either; perhaps because of the way the upper classes viewed them, most of them felt it wasn't their place to look down upon anyone else. They were indifferent to her presence, but they at least didn't shun her. The children, however, were a different story. She wondered if the same ones she had met were still there.

Sheena sighed. "Not exactly. Think about it. Would the rich nobles try to steal from the king? Not much of a chance. They already have riches. But the desperate people of the slums would try about anything to stay alive and feed their families." She said simply, annoyed that it didnt seem obvious to everyone else. "There is a better chance of the thief being a poor person trying to get rich then a rich person just out for laughs. The only thing that makes me doubt is the skill it takes to break into the royal treasury. The thief may have had someone on the inside, who helped them get to the treasures. And with the gall it takes to sneak into the kings room while he sleeps, the with guards all over? This thief must be a master and from what ive seen, the best always seem to come from the worst." She said, smiling as she explained her logic. "Pretty neat huh?"

Sheena nodded. "Of course. We've had our share of bored rich people who pay to get trained and then go out to try and steal for fun and for the rarity. Also, there is an old man who collects artifacts. He is stingy and rude, so he might have hired someone." She said, pondering. "But to steal from the king's chambers. Thats so far fetched. If a thief can get into the kings chambers, so can an assassin." She explained.
