It's more fun if Kanade's there rescuing and Faust can, like, come in to see the unconscious bodies a bit later. XD And try to do something about it.

Aselia has Recarm. She's down there, too.
Specifically, if Kanade had waited a bit, she'd have found out that Aselia was already captured... so she wouldn't be busting in to save anyone. XP Oh well.
