Not long before I left high school Trisha and I stopped talking. She and I were best friends for about a year and then she met Jimmy. I hated Jimmy. He was controlling and completely emotionally abusive towards her, she had depression and he made it even worse. The only reason she stopped cutting was because he threatened to break up with her. She would ditch me for him, she would chose him over me. He could say whatever he wanted about me, but I couldn't say anything about him.
Then a friend of mine said he say Jimmy kissing a (completely crazy and two faced) girl at Trisha's sweet sixteen. My friend told me and Jon about it and together we told Trisha. She called us all liars. My friend and Jon still talked to her, but I was done. I was sick of having to put up with his s**t and hers. Sick of the double dates I had to go on when everyone there knew I hated him. Sick of pretending I didn't see her upset all the time. Sick of being called a liar over and over again.
They broke up. The rumor is he cheated on her.
We were great friends, the only thing we ever fought about was him. I'm tempted to try and talk to her. Like act like he never happened, like we just fell outta touch and there was nothing wrong.
I don't know.
Edit: Two severe repressed rants in one night. I'm on a roll.
