"I suppose it isn't that bad. I've learned more about humans in twenty years than I have in hundreds of years. A lot of the time I spend here I have trouble deciding what to do about things. Part of me wants to be here with all of you, but part of me wants nothing more than to return to my original form and seek vengeance."

Soul found herself smiling at the thought of staying on the island.

"A-anyway, we should go get Nom, and see how far behind we are in the contest."

She awoke slowly after the long, unexpected hibernation. She sat up in her bed, made a small, satisfied noise, then proceeded to get up and get dressed. She wandered out of her room and into her bathroom. Only when she saw her reflection did she realize that something was wrong.

Gone was the fiery aura that she always saw when looking at her reflection. She tried to release her wings from her back, where they normally hid when she slept. They didn't appear. In a last, desperate attempt, she grabbed the box of facial tissue sitting on the bathroom counter and attempted to ignite it. Nothing.

She tossed the box aside and leaned on the counter. Salty tears landed silently upon marble.

Aonice hopped in through a window and quickly made her way around the house.. "Soul?! Soul?" She ran to and fro, checking in kitchens and bed rooms, then heard a small sniffling in one bathroom, and knocked gently.. "Soul?"

Aonice looked back at the front, realizing nobody was there now, "Uhm, Sure" She said with a slightly giggle, then opened the door, walking in, and closing it behind her, and sat on the edge of the bath tub. She took a breath when she saw Soul's tears. "Oh... What happened, Love?" Aonice scooted closer.. "Did you break up with somebody? Did a close realitive die?"

Aonice jumped up and hugged soul from behind, nuzzling into her back. "No soul! You didnt loose your everything! Yuor still here! Your still you! YOu think i get anywhere with superpowers?" She continued to nuzzle deeply. heart

Aonice turned soul around, and shook her a bit, trying to get her to regain her compsure. "Nonsense! Your just as fine as ever before, Soul! Im sure you'll gain yoru powers back, but theres nothing wrong with being normal!" She said the last bit with a firm tone and pressure in her hands. "Now.. Who's Demetri?"

Soul hesitantly looked up to meet her friend's gaze, smiling slightly at Aonice's persistance.

"I've told you about him before, haven't I? He's the one who made me human in the first place..."

She heard Koke's voice from outside, and raised an eyebrow slightly.

"Hmm? When did Koke get here?"
