I would Love to knit you a womb. How much do you think it would cost to send one to you? Really what is one more thrown in? I was planning on making a few extra anyway, just in case somebody new joins the group. I am more than half done with Yule gifts. Except that I am going to make Cat a different Cthulhu. The one I made is a striped blue sock yarn, but the tentacles seem a bit thin, so now there is one more thing added to the list. I am also making her an amigurumi of her! She has long blue hair, wears ties and plays guitar, so that is how I will decorate it. Hot Topic HAD the perfect guitar pin, but they don't have them anymore. At work, we have little wooden guitars and it will to suffice.
Your hair sounds cute. Cat Like Thief just dyed hers a bright blue, which it already was, but now she has the underneath dyed a dark blue. Any chance of getting a pic?
WOW I need to get to work. Missed you all

That does sound quite pretty! I'm finally almost done knitting bastille ( ravelry link for those of you on ravelry, donno how to post the pdf so I'll post pics too when I'm done). It's a pretty cowl, and I promised some to dsay, but this isn't my favorite pattern. It took FOREVER to knit because of all the short rows. Though it looks so pretty I don't know if I mind knitting more, as long as I have enough time at least. After this I have a mobius cowl to make as I put off designing it, heh. Then it's on to hats for gifts for the guys and working out a slipper pattern for the girls this year. And that isn't counting the various patterns I've been working on for me... xd What can I say? I like to keep busy.

OK I finished the sock blue Cthulhu. Its actually kind of cute. Started on the lover's mitten and don't get the pattern, so I am making it up as I go along. Need more yarn, so still only parts for 5 of the wombs finished. Got most of Cat's amigurumi done, so am happy about that. The guitars we had at work are too big, so I will try Pat Catans, Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
I checked out the Bastille pattern, its BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! Dsay is very lucky! What color is it? Sounds like you are about as busy as I am.

Dsay hasn't decided on a color yet for hers, but the one I made for my Gramma is a lavender color, very pretty. I just finished it tonight, once I get the button sewn on and pics taken I'll post them. I did make one alteration, I didn't knit the center cable, worked it in 2x2 rib stitch instead. I still have to test knit the hat pattern for the guys, which hopefully I can do soon. Once that's done I can knit that for the guys. So yeah, I have been quite busy too hehe.

Ugh, so we lost a roommate in a fiery blaze of glory today. His gf is nucking futz, tried to tell us how to run our house through him, in the process insulted me by saying that my house was a health hazard because cats freaking shed (I've yet to meet one that doesn't, after all), and a whole bunch of pointless drama. I will admit I did lose my temper, but, at least for me, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. I confronted him (the soon to be ex roomie) on the phone about him calling my house a health hazard, he babbled something about cat hair and cleaning, and I hung up. For me, that's damn good. It ended with him texting my bf saying that because his gf is upset, we either move her in (HAH) or he moves out. Considering I have another friend with kids who desperately needs a place, I don't mind losing him as a roomie because this started over her and the kids moving in. UGH. I hate drama. I'm not feeling very charitable right now, because MAN is his gf controlling. I miss my friend, but I don't like who he is right now. Ugh. Just ugh.

Wow...what a weekend...got my brother's cold...had a 21st to go to...slept over at my boyfriend's...got better...and now have three assignments due in the next two weeks...
Love: I wouldn't have a clue what it'd cost...I could ask my Aunt, but she lives in Texas so it'd most likely be different where you live...
entervixen: The bastille looks really quite cute! Is it fastened with a button or a clasp?
I shall post a picute of my hair soon enough...most likely once I get back home and find my little USB-SD port thingy...

They look gorgeous! Hmm...bloodwood's not native to the USA is it? Because here in Australia was have a huge amount of bloodwood species. I'm not sure if there's anything native to the Americas though...
Anyway...I know I promised a photo of my hair a couple of days ago, but you'll have to bear with me at the moment... xp

LOVE the spindles. I REALLY wish I had not given mine away, but the real truth is even if I still had it I would not use it enough to get very good. I gave it away hoping it would be happier if it got used. i am afraid though that the person I gave it to, uses it less than I did. Mine was made from babinga. Have you spun with them yet? are they wonderful????
I have pics in the computer of my afghan and a bag i made, but I need to get them into Photobucket and then here. I know thats easy for some, but for me.....
Not sure what else you might like to see... I make a lot of socks... and wrist warmers. I made a purse with a big peace sign on it, mostly because I wanted to knit a peace sign. We will see how long it takes me to get the ones I have posted here..
Still interested in seeing the hair. Cat's hair is now a medium to dark blue on the top with blueish black low lights. Its cool. Her hair is really long, but she is planning on cutting it soon.
