The lieutenant wordlessly rushed over to Tsu when she saw him fall. Once again, she opened her mouth to speak but no words would come. With a defeated sigh, she checked him over to answer the question for herself that she was unable to ask. She used a healing kido just to be sure that he was all right, before shakily holding her zanpakuto towards Aizen again.

I can't...speak... Why? What do I do? As I am, will I be able to be strong enough for Tsu? Will I be able to avenge my family? Aya... Her fists clenched and tears rolled down her cheeks. A hollow was responsible for killing her family all those many years ago. Right in front of her, her little sister was slaughtered, joining her mother and father. The horror, anger, sadness and hatred she felt from that day rose up within her, and she lowered her weapon and took a step towards Aizen.

The power, and your head... it will all be mine!

Without knowing it, she had completely fallen under Aizen's control.

Tousen simply stood there as the blue haired man flash stepped behind him. About ready to swing around completely and bifurcate the man he stopped as he heard Gin speaking. Still the man managed to slice through the fabric of his clothes. Then suddenly the man seemed to be fighting himself. Standing still he watched as the man won the fight and his hollow mask fell away and he passed out. Hikari rushed to his side and after checking him for injuries stood up and stepped towards Aizen. In an instant Aizen was beside her hand resting on her shoulder playing the kind hearted captain he used to be for a moment longer. "It's alright everything will be alright very soon." Tousen stepped towards the fallen vizard and raised his blade above his head. He would wound the man for his audacity to attack him and make sure he was down. Swinging down he felt his blade slice through flesh before suddenly he felt his own flesh be cut. Jumping backwards a wounded Yuu stood over Tsu and Tousen simply healed. Raising his blade he was suddenly stopped as Aizen's voice rang through the air. "That is enough. Let's leave now with our new recruit." With that Aizen began walking away finished for now.

Yuu moved at his full speed as Tousen raised his blade against Tsu and arrived in time to take the attack and then return one of his own to Tousen. Then the man simply healed. Yuu's vision began to blur as the full extent of his wounds were catching up to him and the adrenaline began wearing off. Were Tousen to have finished his next attack Yuu probably wouldn't have been able to stop it. Aizen however saved them and then began leaving with Hikari. Tousen and the other man began leaving as well. Gin was the only one not moving for the moment and Yuu stared after Hikari. "Hikari.....please." After the words were spoken he felt his world darken and he fell forward his wound causing the ground around him to be stained red. He wasn't quite out yet as he stared at the leaving figures his entire world blurry.

(Sorry for the super long wait guys. u.u)

The substitute instructor's eyes snapped open and a pain-filled cry escaped him as Tousen's blade bit into the flesh of his shoulder. There was nothing he could do about it. He felt weak. Never before in his life had he felt like this. His power gone and his enemy standing over him, about to deliver the final blow. But he didn't die. Why hasn't he finished me? Tsurabisu managed to turn his head enough to see that Yuu was standing over him, attacking Tousen. A tiredness, much stronger than he had ever felt before, washed over him. His eyes closed for what seemed like a split second, but when they opened, Yuu was on the ground, next to him. And Hikari was... Where was Hikari?

Fighting against his own body's weakness, he was able to lift his head off the ground and look around. The moment he did, he regretted it. He had found Hikari. And she was leaving with Aizen. Why...? Why would she leave...with him? He was forcing her to go with him. That's what it was. He, along with Yuu, was beaten and they were taking Hikari! No! No, damn you! Get up! Fight! If you can't protect her, then what the hell good are you? Tsu's arm reached out, seeking the hilt of his Zanpakuto. His numb fingers wrapped around the handle and he tried lifting the sword. The blade scraped across the blood soaked asphalt as the Fourth Seat managed to move the blade. "Hi...Ka...Ri... " The sword fell from his grip, landing on the ground next to him as darkness overtook him.

Drake had been awake for several minutes, just listening for any sign of movement. The only sounds in the room were coming from the Espada's breathing. Judging by the deep, rhythmic sound she was making, she was still asleep. Slowly, he opened his eyes and silently, as he'd trained himself to do over the years, he made it to his feet. Glancing around told him that there had been no activity while he had been asleep. He'd have been amazed if there had been without him knowing it. A quick glance at the alarm clock next to the bed told him that it was still early morning, but the city was already up and active for the day. Drake was thankful that his barrier also blocked out sound from the outside, otherwise it would have woken up both of them hours before.

The Death Knight glanced down at the Espada's sleeping form and back to the clock. She showed no signs of waking up soon, so no would be a good time to check in and maybe order a little breakfast for them. Quietly, he slid on his boots and headed for the door. He reached for the handle, but stopped himself. He had a feeling that if the door made any kind of noise, Ayame would be up in a heartbeat. So... Let's take the alternate route. He silently whispered a word under his breath and used his Shadow Walk ability to put himself just outside the door. He hadn't sensed anyone out in the hallway, so it seemed like the easiest way. Without wasting any time, he made his way down to the lobby and found a phone. He dialed a string of numbers and waited for the ring tone to be replaced with a familiar voice. Soon, his patience was rewarded with the voice he sought. Drake quickly filled his contact in with some of the information he had gathered as well as part of his plan before promising to explain the rest as soon as he could. He hung up the phone and headed out across the road to a fast food restaurant. Not a gourmet meal, but it would easily do. He made sure he bought a variety of things in case the Espada proved to be picky. Now, just gotta get back before she wakes up... He made his way back up to the room and used his ability once more to enter the room silently. He set the bags down on the table and sat down at one of the chairs. Another glance at the clock told him that he'd been gone about fifteen minutes. Not bad.

Haru finally made it to Soul society. He wonder in a rush toward anyone that he could find. 'Better help them in any way that I can. Who to think that this would happen on the day that he would soon to be a shinigami ' Those were his thoughts as he look in all directions, in a worry state. Not paying attention he bump into someone who was walking by. He stumble backwards, shaking his head with his eyes clothes, and open them; finding out that it was the captain of the fourth squad. "Sorry about that." Haru stood up and was catching his breath. "They need help. Some one name Aizen is there." He then waited for her response.

Captain Unohana was just finishing up in her office when she heard a commotion. She didn't think much of it until she heard many, many frantic voices getting louder and they were echoing throughout the hallways of her Division, coming closer. Uneasily, she entered the infirmary, wondering if some of the students hadn't been hurt, and so she waited. She didn't have to wait long. She spun around when Haru burst in. The captain frowned in worry when she saw the boy, and was at his side instantly, checking the children he'd brought with him. At a moment's glance it was obvious to see that there was no helping them. Just a look told the captain that they'd been killed on the spot. "I'm sorry for your friends. I'm afraid that it is too late." She moved to check on him, and stopped midway when he mentioned Aizen. "Aizen, you say...?" She stood and was about to summon a Hell Butterfly to put the rest of the Soul Society on alert when she noticed that Captain Kyouraku standing there. "Did you hear that?" She asked him quietly.

((OOC: Sorry if my post sucks, it's been forever since I've posted as her... Not to mention I have writer's block, and I'm working overnights which probably isn't helping anything.))

((OOC Don’t feel bad. I’m going through the same thing for Shunsui…))
The Captain of squad eight adjusted the brim of his hat as he watched from a rooftop as a stream of Academy students rushed from the Senkaimon. At first, he thought that the training mission must be over, mistaking the cries of the students as cheers of celebration for a job well done. That thought quickly faded as a chill began to spread up his spine. From his vantage point, he could see that his old friend, Jushiro Ukitake was down there among the students, stopping only to question one of them, before making a break for the gateway. Something was definitely wrong. “Nanao!” The Captain called to his Lieutenant, knowing she wouldn’t be far. He doubted that she was ever out of earshot. Not waiting to make sure she followed, Shunsui used his Flash Step to make his way down to where the students were fleeing. Most were headed in the direction of the infirmary. Not that he needed the crowd of students to lead him. The twin trails of blood left on the ground were more than enough to show him where to go.
Within moments, the Captain arrived at the infirmary, catching bits and pieces of the terrifying story that several of the students were franticly shouting.

The voice of one student cutting through the sound of the rest. “They need help. Someone named Aizen is there.”

The sound of that name made his blood run cold. It couldn‘t be. He was locked away far beneath squad two in their prison. Locked away for thousands of years! “Aizen…?” He turned in the direction of the voice, catching the eyes of the fourth squad’s Captain. The two lifeless bodies at her feet were enough proof for him. And that meant that his friend had just rushed through the gate to face that monster alone. “Jushiro…No…” The look in his eyes was more than enough to let the other Captain know that he had heard. “Nanao!” He heard his Lieutenant only a few steps behind him. “Go tell Yama-jii!” Knowing that his orders would be followed without delay, he turned, and with all the speed he was capable of, made his way into the Senkaimon.

"Sleep. I'll take care of everything from here on out."

The strange voice coaxed her and she fell into the dark abyss of unconsciousness. Completely under Aizen's influence, their cries had fallen upon deaf ears. Hikari wordlessly obeyed him and followed the former captain-turned-traitor. She stared blankly ahead at her master, patiently awaiting any task that he might ask of her and willing to comply without a moment's hesitation.

((Ugh, again, sucky post LOL. Oh well live with it. XD ))

Unohana wordlessly summoned a Hell Butterfly for the higher-seated members of Squad 4. Since her lieutenant was among those missing there, she decided upon Hanataro to accompany her, among others. She sent a message to her other squad members to put them on alert to treat those injured that had managed to make it back to the Soul Society, and turned back to Kyouraku. "In such a panic I'm certain there were some left behind. We will be leaving momentarily to treat those ones and help them to safety." She then began organizing with the few other shinigami who were going to assist the injured alongside her. She frowned inwardly, secretly worried for her lieutenant and the others. It appeared that the main people leading the mission hadn't been seen or heard from since the commotion started. She feared that they'd been killed by Aizen as an example, or worse.

The Espada had slept more soundly than she was used to but as soon as there was movement around her, subconsciously she'd begun to sense it, but didn't stir. That is, until his presence was gone. She bolted upright, immediately sensing that something was out of place. Ayame had learned those cat-like reflexes out of necessity. If she hadn't been able to learn to use them, she would have been dead long ago. A moment's survey of the room told her that Drake was missing, and that was the thing that had been out of place. She grew suspicious and curious all the same. Where was he going and why? Obviously he'd taken great pains quietly leave because she hadn't heard him. The only way she'd even been awakened was because of instinct, which was something he couldn't have predicted nor prevented about her. So it seemed to her that he didn't want her knowing that he left. Which meant to Ayame that he was sneaking. And that was something for her to be alarmed about. How much did she know about him after all? She was already disgusted with herself for so easily trusting someone who bested her. It went completely against all she'd been brought up to learn. How she learned it after being reborn as a Hollow was that anyone who was more powerful than you needed to be destroyed. If you're able to survive after being defeated, you needed to come up with a way to destroy the enemy or they would destroy you. Perhaps she should withdraw... But then, on the other hand, he didn't seem like he was planning on harming her. Right away. She could also wait and determine his objectives and pinpoint a weakness if need be. Also, she already felt more prepared to face off against him, for she hadn't been fighting him at her best before. She hadn't faced off against him, nor Tsu, nor even Hikari at her best, because at the same time, even though she fought with bitter hatred, she still held back out of past longing for her family. However, she knew that she would have to overcome that. Ayame knew she also had to overcome her hatred in order to focus on defeating them. It was suicide to face an opponent with nothing but hatred and longing in your heart. She knew that. But how would she get rid of that? Shaking her head, she realized that she didn't yet know the answer.

Deciding she'd wasted enough time thinking and had to decide upon what to do, she fixed her bed and lay back down. For now she would just sit back and observe everything before making a move. Ayame knew that her best bet was to reunite with those who understood her. Mouzou and Damien. Soon enough. She thought. She slowed her breathing to appear as if she were sleeping lightly. She pretended to stir once she heard the rustle of the bags, and turned over in her 'sleep' before opening her eyes and sitting up. She rubbed her eyes and studied the bags curiously before looking at Drake. "What is that?" She asked with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Seeing the captain of squad eight for a bit made him feel a bit proud for being able to see him up close. Mumbling, Haru spoke. "W-what should I do." He then look at his two fellow classmates, with their blood dried. He sigh as he then grab the hilt of his zanpakuto.

After what seemed like ages, but was, in fact, only a few moments, Shunsui Kyoraku exited the gateway between the Spirit World and the World of the Living and was met with an unmistakable Spiritual Pressure. It was like slamming into a brick wall, even to someone as strong as he was. There was no doubt left in his mind that the Spiritual Pressure belonged to the former Captain of squad five. As frightening as that was, it paled in comparison to his next realization. He could not sense his friend and fellow Captain. His eyes darted around as the unfamiliar feeling of panic began overtaking him for the first time in several hundred years. The first thing his eyes fell on were the fallen bodies of the Lieutenant of Ukitake’s squad and the fourth seated officer of Zaraki’s. He could just barely sense their presence, reassuring him that they were alive for the moment. The next thing his eyes took in were several retreating figures moving away from the carnage.

His brain fought to process what he was seeing in front of him. Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tousen, both had been killed more than fifty years ago when Aizen was imprisoned, but here they stood, seemingly alive and well. The next figure took an extra moment for him to place. If he wasn’t mistaken, it was the embodiment of a Zanpakuto named Muramasa, a deadly foe in his own right, and also someone Shunsui believed to have been destroyed half a century ago. Following behind them was the Lieutenant of squad four. Was she following them? That’s how it appeared at first, but the dull look in her eyes added even more confusion to the chaos that swirled around inside the Captain’s mind.

In front of the others, leading them away, was a man who’s seemingly limitless power had once brought the Soul Society to its knees. Sousuke Aizen. A sharp intake of breath was the only sound he made as he tried to plan what to do. Sousuke Aizen had single handedly taken nearly all the Captains apart by himself, and now, he stood surrounded by allies. What could he do alone? Even with his Bankai, what chance did he stand against the might before him. And what about the Lieutenant with them? Was she a hostage? And where was Jushiro!? Why couldn’t he sense him? He had arrived only a few minutes after the twelfth squad’s Captain. “AIZEN!” At first, Kyoraku, hadn’t realized that the yell had come from him. Logic seemed to have abandoned the Captain. What was he going to do? Interrogate the Lord of Las Noches? But what else could he do? Two students’ blood still soaked the ground. The officers in front of him lay dying. And there was no sign of Captain Ukitake.

Aizen continued moving pleased with all he had accomplished. Then a familiar pressure entered the battlefield in the form of Shunsui. He payed the eighth division captain no mind however until the man yelled his name. Stopping he signaled for the others to continue moving as he turned around a smug smile on his face. "Well if it isn't Shunsui Kyoraku. It's been awhile. I do have to wonder what you hope to accomplish by yelling for me however. Unless you want to fight? Killing you is not on my list of things to do today. After all I think you have more than enough damage control to do. As well as friends to bury." While not coming out and saying it he left the realization of what happened to Ukitake for Kyoraku to figure out.

Yuu stirred as he heard a familiar man yelling and managed to roll over on his back. "Kyoraku-sama?" His voice was weak as evidence of how quickly his life force was ebbing away. "He-He killed him. Ukitake-sama is... protecting me... my fault... Aizen..." His words quickly broken down to short unintelligible words as his vision darkened again.

"Those two boys are quite resilient. Holding on as they are. Let's be real here for a second Shunsui. You are outmatched. How can a mere shinigami fight a god after all? I have already proven myself above you on more than one occasion. So take your dead and wounded and leave and I will let you. This is your only chance." After he finished speaking his eyes grew cold and he stared down the captain almost daring him to try. Almost as if to help the captain decide Aizen realized a little bit of his spiritual pressure on the surrounding area. He hadn't planned on killing another captain however he was more than willing.

((Sorry for the bad post. Kinda rushed today.))

Ukitake was dead. Even if he didn't believe Aizen, hearing Yuu convinced him. And the man standing in front of him was the one who killed him. But what could he do? If he attacked Sousuke, he knew that he'd be killed. And what of the two officers who lay bloody on the ground? He had to get them back. And the fourth squad's Lieutenant... She hadn't spoken a word since he arrived. The Captain's hand rested on the hilt of one of his Zanpakuto as he weighed his options. There was only one thing he could do. He turned away from Aizen and moved to the two bloody figures to check their wounds. After a few moments, he knew there wasn't much he could do. He needed to get them to squad four. He lifted his head and glared at the Lieutenant. "These are your friends. You're going to leave them to die as you turn your back on them?"
