"So I see." she replied softly, noticing immediately he had the blood of other people on him. Though she did not truly approve of his dining choice, she accepted this truth about him just as she accepted for other. Tilting her head, she wondered how Vice might reply to Skye.

"You can stay fused with the eye as long as you want." Vice said as he began to lick the blood off of his other claw. "The enchantment won't activate unless someone, like Gage, activates it himself or you attack him. Then the spell turns on automaticly." He stopped licking the blood of his claw for a moment and looked at him. "Even I can activate it... which I was tempted to do. Those who take another's body and use it as their own are little more than scum in my eyes." Some might think him a hypocrite, considering that he used the souls of others to sustain his own life... it was neccessary for him though. Throughout the years his soul had become unstable, and the only way to fix that was through using others to patch up the holes... besides, one could live without an eye or arm; but one would die without a soul.

"I see. I know what to do then."
Skyeheart got out of the bed.
"Lady Ziven, I am going to put my body in a temporary stasis so that my soul may leave this body safely.
I will leave the suspended animation when my body has assimilated all this eye has to offer, then I will perfom the task of replacing it.
What I want you to do is to keep my body hidden. When I separate my soul from my body it will become like a doll."
If the spell destroyed the soul, then all he needed to do was to not have one for a while until he was ready to proceed to the next step.

Vice laughed for a moment and snapped his fingers, almost instantly the blood disappeared from his clothes and he looked presentable once again. "Do you think I would let you do that? I made that spell so that creatures would not gain my knowledge on powers, so do you think I would let you assimalte knowledge and power from a man whom my brother trained? Powers and knowledge that were originally mine?" His smile was that of insanity as his red eye began to glow. "I'll give you this chance to let me pluck the eye from your head without harming you further than that. If you refuse then I will do all in my power to either kill you or make you bow to my will."

Numbly she shook her head, not quite believing that Skye could possibly be looking for another answer still. When he mentioned he wanted her to take part of this madness, she shook her head. "With all due respect, I shall do no such thing." she replied simply as he carried on.
After Vice had began speaking she sighed softly, raising one hand to her head, she caught her forehead in her palm as she let her head hang lose. This entire conversation and situation were beyond tolerable. Her frustration surfaced in jumble of emotions, her dress and scarf began to move slowly around her. When Vice finished, she stood straight once more, held her hand out to him, motioning him to stop. "If there is anyone who will forcibly remove the eye, it shall be me." she said firmly to Vice.
Ziven then moved fluidly to Skye, looking to him with a very stern, displeased expression. "You are my friend. Once you told me that you wanted to make sure I was safe so what happened to Alley and other friends who have fallen would not happen to me. The tables have turned, Skye. It is now time for me to insist upon common sense to you so that you do not fall. This is your last chance to allow myself or your healers to undo what they had done yesterday." she paused, letting her words hang in the air, hoping that he would finally listen to reason.
In the case of that not being enough, she finished with describing his other 'options'. "If you refuse, I will personally remove that eye. If you somehow dodge my attempt, then I have full confidence Vice will finish what I could not. Are we perfectly clear?" she said in an icy tone, blue eyes looking just as cold as the tone in her voice as she spoke to Skye.

Vice stood there with a shocked expression as Ziven spoke to him, then began to laugh. He leaned against a wall behind him and simply listened to what Ziven had to say. She seemed to have things under complete control, even threating Skye when the time came. "Truely you are a master at handling these things, Ziven. Perhaps this is a side of you that my son sees... If so, I can't blame him for liking you." He said into her mind while laughing out loud.

"Very well then, though it is premature, I will have to proceed with the second step."
Skyeheart picked up a charm accessory.
"I've had all night to procure the powers from this eye, though I still haven't taken everything to my satisfaction, I will still need this for other purposes."
The charm and his eye began to glow.
"I managed to ward off Gage's fury thanks to the spirit of my dead brother Stormheart.
The next time he tries it, he will have to defeat himself."
When the glow ended, Skyeheart no longer had Gage's eye, but had both of his normal eyes back.
While Gage's eye was locked in the unknown charm he pocessed.
Then it became clear to Ziven, Skyeheart's magic could have grown his old eye back anytime, he really did plan to only have Gage's eye for a short while.

She shook her head as she saw what he did but still did not know exactly what he had done. Though she was grateful for his recovery, she was not about to stand around watching him lay the foundation for his own destruction. "You must get rid of the eye. I see yours is now returned but wherever you put Gages eye, you would do very well to expel it as soon as possible. You can learn nothing good from that eye." she cautioned him but realized as soon as she said it that it would fall upon deaf ears. "I wish you well but your actions here have been .. so completely uncalled for and distasteful I must take my leave. I have given you all the advice I could yet you refuse to listen to reason. Good luck to you, friend." she said sounding rather bitter.
Vice's words echoed through her mind for a few moments before she truly acknowledged them. This was the closest thing to a sincere compliment she remembered ever hearing from this man. "Aye, I believe he does. Though I see a part of him no others see also. Together, we are not alone." she replied simply to the man, flashing he alone the smallest of smiles though a sad, weary look shown in her eyes.
It was time for her to depart, she had done all she could and there was no use attempting to tell a recklessly determined person to stop being reckless multiple times. Turning away from them both, she disappeared with a small pop.
(Ooc: As a final bit of advice to you Skye .. if you plan on trying to use any of Gage's abilities against him IC .. I honestly feel that is nothing but godmodding and will bite you in the a**. )

Skyeheart rubbed his claw against his knee.
He said some things he shouldn't have, even if his mind had been made up.
Still, he had to take Ziven's words to heart. He was attempting to play outside his usual field of tactics, always a risky move.
Of course, risks like this could only be taken with those with as much resolve as him but...he had to understand the feelings of those who worry about him.
He would apoligize to Ziven as soon as possible, after he completed the sealing.

Once Ziven had left, he walked over to the newt and reached out his clawed hand. With immessurable speed he had Skye by the collar. "This was the reason I think you are filth, boy. It was never because of the fact that you were half-human, but because you dishonor the original code of dragons. The code states that a dragon never does something that will shame his name... Which is what you have done. Leeching the knowledge from another, taking power you did not truely earn..." He growled and released the boy, shaking his head. "I do not know what your Lord taught you, but Bahumaut the first would not only be ashamed that his legacy bore something so vile." And with that Vice turned and walked onto the shadows.

Vice was right. Bahamut wouldn't approve of his actions.
He would have to atone for his spur of the moment actions.
And he knew just how to do so.
Mask had to guide him the first time, but his cards had memorized the location.

The cool nioght breeze blew as the commanders returned to the keep.
Illycia, Levitiania, Skyeheart, Ramaris, and his neko passenger all stood by the front gate.

Once on the ground Mai took a look around then craned her neck slightly looking at the gate wide eyed she couldn't help but to stare at everything.

Ramaris pushed open the gates...and a pack of snarling skull-like dragons snapped at them.
A large black, and maybe half-mechanical, half-dead dragon marched up and looked through his cybergenetic eye.
"You're late! My boys have been gnawing at their own skin for over ten minutes now!"
"Well I'm glad you didn't go on a bender like last time at the very least," Illycia said.

Seeing the skull like dragons snap twords them Mai quickly got into a fighting stance reading herself by putting her hand behind her back just inches from her gun. Then hering a booming voice Mai turns quickly and sees a large half dragon half machine eyes widening she stared wondering what could have happened to him.
Seeing that they knew him Mai relaxed and little and stayed quiet as they talked.
