Edward knelt down beside Kiara. "It's okay now. You are fine now." He promised

Edward smiled slightly, "No one is going to hurt you. You are never going back there again, I promise. You are safe now." He stood up and Edward held his hand out. "And I'm a friend."

He winced as she accidently touched his wound. "He put a permemant mark on me, but I'll live. you aren't dead and this isnt a dream. See? You are fine now." Edward said soothingly, he ran his fingers through her hair. Edward looked at Ellie and Chris, "Thank you for everything. I will always be in your debt."

She let out two slow shaky breaths. "I tried to help you....I really did. Then I was on fire and everything went black." Sudden relization hit her. "It was terrible. But you guys helped me." SHe smiled at all of them slightly but her eyes didn't match her smile. They were dark and distant and lost. They were still hurting......like she was........still afraid. She started crying again. "I have to get out of here. I can't---I don--wanna.......if I live like this, I will end up back there. Or worse I will have to see you, or Envi, or anyone get hurt." She said looking up at Edward with tear filled eyes. She was very uneasy. She burried her head back in Edward shushing herself. "It was worse than anything. I would think I was ok..." SHe sobbed. "And th--then...It was like an illusion....my head--and you were dead--then it was 100 times--worse th-than it would of been, but I don't know h-how it could be worse." Her apperance was rough and tattered. Her clothing was burnt and tattered and covered with blood. "But--but if I stay...continue on--is is--is that where I end up. Alone. With noone, not you, or anyone, just the pain and the hurting, and constantness....not knowing when or where or how anything will ever be? I--I--I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be selfish, I just, just....." She huddled closer to him, she was almost positive the burning would come soon and take her away from there. She was going to snap. If he wasn't there now she probablly would of killed herself. Her body was still shaking uncontlably.

"I don't know if I can though, but I feel like I have to, but I don't know where. But if I don't I might snap. I want to be normal." SHe sniffled her head still against him. "I know it is to late for that now......but what else am I supposed to do? It's not like I do anything good by being the way I am....I'm so confused." Her eyes flashed over to the fireplace and her eyes overflowed with fear and her breathing was back to frightened gasps.

"Ok....ok..." Tears were still seaping from her eyes as she calmed her shaking. She tried to focus on something else beside herself. She didn't even want to think about it. "I'm so sorry they did that to you." She didn't even want to think of Xaggeta and the fire.....ah the fire.

"I'm fine." She lied. "I don't know what I want anymore. Part of me wishes I was dead, part wants to get away from this life, part wants to stand up and fight." SHe looked into his eyes. "And part wants to just stay here and be with you." The corner of her lips curled up. It was a tiny smile, but it wasn't forced.

"I'd rather be happy. I don't care about my safety all that much. I was just scared." She looked up at him. "Will you promise me something? Please stay away from him for a while. Look what he did to you. I saw that. Then I rember being pinned down with sword and catching on fire.......but that was not a big deal, when I blacked out that is when everything started. I don't want you to get hurt. I honestly could not live without you." She whiped the tears of her face but they quikly returned. "And you know what else. When I was.....drifting off, I thought I was going to die. I meant what I said."
