Chloe watched as the fish flopped back into the water, healing up Lilie with a Potion, "Thanks again, you're getting better at battling," Chloe smiled, patting the Bayleef, who grinned happily, before returning to Chloe's Pokeball as the girl returned to Daimon's back. She took up her rod again, holding onto the sea dragon as she made her way back out to deeper waters.
After rebaiting her hook, Chloe cast her line into the water again, to sit and wait.

It took Brayden a while to notice the voices over the sounds of the waters of the lake, as well as the sounds of the wild Pokemon that made their home in the caves. Brayden looked up, finally hearing words, turning as he looked back towards the lake.
He about called for Kaya, believing that the prince had finally met back up with him, however, Ariadne corrected him before he made his guess audible, confirming that it was Chloe and Julian's aura that she sensed, not that of the Harmonian prince.
Picking his path back towards, the lake, he soon spotted a familiar Kingdra floating along the surface of the water, dragon trainer in tow. He also spotted Julian and his Buizel. Brayden smiled happily, glad to find some familiar faces in these caves.
"Hey, Clo, Julian!" he greeted with a wave, walking with Caliga to the water's edge.
"Trying your luck with a bit of fishing?" he surmised.

Chloe looked up, hearing a familiar voice, "Bray!" she shouted, startling a few roosting Zubat in the stalagmites above, "Awesome to see you again! We waited in Snowpoint, but you and Kaya hadn't shown, so we went on ahead to do some other stuff. Then we thought we'd stop by here for a bit until everyone meets in Snowpoint," she explained.
"So whatcha been up to?" she inquired with a grin, "You guessed right, though. We've been trying to fish up some stuff. Julian's after a Dratini, and I'm attempting to get a Feebas," she smiled.

"Haha, cool. I was up to the same thing earlier with the fishing thing. I finally managed to catch a Feebas, so I'm glad for that, and decided to give it a break for a bit," Brayden smiled, nodding to Chloe and Julian, "Good luck with your fishing. I have to say, it is fairly easy to fish here. Guess its because there aren't as many strong currents." He made his way down to the edge of the water, Caliga trotting alongside him, lighting the way faintly with her glowing rings.
"Uh... other than that, I haven't really been up to much," he admitted, "Kaya was going to meet up with me here and we were going to continue to Snowpoint, but I haven't heard a word from him in a while," Brayden frowned, "I don't think anything happened to him, but I'm not sure what's keeping him."
"Oh, before I forget, Kaya and I have our own place now!" Brayden laughed, recalling the important little detail, "We... well, he, bought a place in Floaroma town. I'll have to give you guys a tour once we get back there," he offered.

Julian cracked his neck and sighed. "Fishing is good and all but it does tend to take a long time. Although after everything I went through for an Eevee I imagine this would take less time, I hope."
Julian thought for a second before a thought popped into his head. "Oh, did you know Chloe and I are dating now, though we aren't nearly as far along in our relationship as you and kaya."

"Aw, bummer, I just hooked a Finneon," Chloe laughed as Bray explained his situation, "Well, I say join us, its definitely more fun to fish when you have someone to talk to," Chloe agreed easily, "I mean, when I was fishing in Hoenn for a Relicanth, I was bored out of my mind. It was nice to have a break, but spending a week staring at a cork made things a little dull," she laughed.
"Well, if I hook another Finneon, I'll trade you if you can manage to catch another Feebas," Chloe wagered, "Hopefully you'll have better luck than me. Same to you, Julian. I'd say three corks in the water is better than just two," she grinned. Daimon nodded his agreement to the logic in the water.

"Haha, sure thing, then," Brayden nodded. It made sense. He called Cye, Mac, and Sai out to explore the water a bit, hopping on his Feraligatr as he dug in his bag for his fishing rod. Caliga remained on the edge of the lake. She didn't really feel like taking a swim at the moment.
It didn't take Bray long to feel a nibble on his line, but when he reeled it in, it turned out to be a Wiscash. A single Energy Ball from Ariadne had the catfish back into the water, as Brayden thanked the Gardevoir, who nodded, before returning to her Pokeball. After all, she could still bug him mentally if she needed to.
"Hm, well, no luck so far, but hopefully in a bit we'll get something good, huh, Cye?" Brayden looked to the Feraligatr, who offered a toothy grin, nodding.
Sai and Mac took to playing in the shallows of the lake.

"And yeah, I agree," Brayden nodded in agreement ot Julian's comment, "I miss Kaya as well. I'm worried about his homeland, althoguh, I have to admit, I'm a bit excited to see it as well. I've heard so much about it, but seeing it in person was something that I'd like to do."
"Ariadne's confirmed that he isn't in trouble or anything, so I guess he just got caught up somewhere on his way to the mountain," Brayden guessed.

Julian (Becoming Arbok hybridized. Has developed Fangs and Arbok markings on his chest as well as his skin feeling like scales. Purple hair.)

Chloe grinned, "Alright then. Knowing you, you'll hook a Feebas before I do," she laughed, watching her line for a moment, before turning her attention back to Brayden.
"I've been kinda itching to see Kaya's home as well, to be honest," she admitted with a small smile, "Same as you, I've heard him talking about what it was like, but I bet seeing it in person would be awesome. I always tend to like places that aren't too big. I guess growing up in Blackthorn had that impact on me at least," she laughed, "But seeing the island would be fun. If it weren't for the whole impending doom thing, I'd probably do a little sightseeing as soon as I got there," she laughed.

Julian shrugged. "To tell you guys the truth i haven't really heard that much about kaya's homeland but since I haven't been traveling with you guys all that long it's only natural." He sighed lightly and looked at the pokeball floating on the surface.
"I really do look forward to seeing it though. I love to go to new places, especially with friends." He looked back over at Chloe. "And we can always do some sight seeing after we, you know save the world and all." He laughed, but his attention was drawn back to the pokeball as it sank under the surface.
Julian reeled the pokemon in quickly and when it broke the surface he saw it was a Finneon. "Well brayden, guess what i just found for you." he told him with a chuckle.
