He looked over at Yaraif with difficulty. It was hard to see her on his shoulder. She peered back at him with luminous eyes over her itty-bitty sweet.

"I suppose," Progolo said to Chao, though he was still smiling tenderly at the kun-kun. He turned his attention to the woman. "Well, 'aamha' means hello and 'san' means me or I. I think...any, just say 'san' and your name and she'll figure it out."

(( By the way, I'm not making her language up off the top of my head. >> She CAME unable to speak English. <<; ))

((If I don't manage to answer by tommorrow morning feel free to go on without me, chaotic, because I won't be around all day. And I would hate to drag you down...))

((xD I was wondering where the language was coming from :3
eh, not dragging, but alright, if I don't hear from you for a while Chao'll excuse herself and go and hunt for a coin -nod-))

Chao nodded, "alright," looking to Yaraif she did her best to imitate what Progolo had said, "Aamha Yaraif," her hand reflexively waved, "san Chao."

(( There's fortunately time for one last post! ))

Yaraif's eyes sparkled. Pulling the wet, chewed sweet from her mouth, she chirped. "Aamha Kaaaaaaaaaaaaay-o! San Yauf!" Mimicking Chao, she waved, although a bit more energetically.

Progolo chuckled softly. "Well it seems the...festivities have begun. I suppose we'll see you around," he added, deciding that he and Yaraif had distracted her long enough. He inclined his head and, giving her a final friendly smile, walked off in the direction from which he had come.

(( Now I can't drag you down. >< Hopefully I'll be able to resume Saturday.))

((-wavewave- hope to see you then Progolo!))

Chao grinned at the energetic response then nodded as Progolo excused them. "It was nice meeting you two, hope to see you around," she replied with a wave and a friendly smile.

After the two had traveled a fair distance away she turned and set off towards one of the tents, determined to search for and eventually find one of the hidden coins for Sanar.

Keilin strolled along the outer rim of where the festival was being held, her arms crossed in front of her body; her shy attempt at trying to conceal most of what she was wearing. Chata lagged behind, looking at anywhere but where Keilin was, pretending that he didn't know the lady. He shot one glance at her, Keilin now very close to where the festival was taking place and the party attenders, and then looked elsewhere, ashamed. He started to amble his way towards the festival, anxious to meet other Aerandir and their owners, secretly hoping that the others weren't as scary as Abbey...

With a sigh, Keilin looked back at her friend and motioned for her to follow. "Off to humiliation-land we go, then..." she said, looking down at her pajamas before taking a few steps towards the celebration.

Abbey ambled into the festival grounds with her basket in her arms, and not at all (visibly) perturbed at the fact she was wearing her pyjamas. Or at least, not as much as Keilin. "This is your fault," she commented to the side in a sing-song voice, knowing full well that it was Abbey was the one that had instated the dare.

She was more lively than normal today, or it would seem.

Abbey caught sight of Chao and called (loudly) from afar to grab her attention, "Chaaao!"

Having bent down on the ground to search beneath the tent flap Chao was rather startled to hear her name being called so loudly and, when she instively started up, nearly found herself lost in the tent flap.

After a moment she had freed herself, stood up again and sucessfully located Abbey. With a grin she waved back, returning the greeting. "Heya Abbey!"

Keilin

She snorted, waving off Abbey as if she were a pestering insect. A moment later, she heard her friend call for someone else that she had not met yet. Her focus turned to the ground beneath her, her habits of shyness when meeting someone new kicking in.

However, her attention was soon caught by Chata, who faithfully ran up to Keilin after he seemed to have ditched her, not wanting to be seen with someone wearing pajamas. Seeing this, Keilin found the courage to look up at the one called "Chao" and smile weakly at her, making a small greeting gesture with her hand. Chata chirped excitedly, hopping up and down but making sure that he had kept his distance from the strange Abbey.

Abbey smiled, making the introductions, "Keilin, Chao. Chao, Keilin. Uhh, lessee. Chao's one of my neighbour here at Ar'Idil, and Keilin's an old friend. And..."she glanced down at Chata and giggled as he shied away, "That's Chata. Keilin's Aerandir."

[Okay, Abbey's so OOC today that it's not funny. I don't know how to fix her without making it seem like she's going through giant moodswings, so I'll just keep her in high mode.]

As Keilin and Abbey approached Chao couldn't help but notice they were in their pajamas. Which brought across the question 'why?' then, a moment later 'I wonder if that's more comfortable than what I'm wearing now?' She only thought about them for the moment they passed through her head before introductions had begun and she was returning the greeting with a wave.

"Ah, it's nice to meet you Keilin and Chata," she watched at the Aerandir jumped a bit and chuckled, though it was obvious she was very curious about the Aerandir, this being her first time really close to one and it's guardian. Still, she turned back to Keilin, "eh heh, yes, Abbey and I are neighbors in our poor, half deserted village," by all technical means it was true. The village was half-deserted simply because of the few guardian's that lived there.

"Have you two heard about the treasure hunt?"

Nodding as if to confirm what Abbey had said about her and Chata were indeed correct, Keilin also noticed Chao eyeing the pajamas she and Abbey were wearing. She then tilted her head for a moment at Abbey, frowning at the pajamas as if Abbey was the only one who alienated from the rest and not her. Chata piped up at Keilin, bringing her back to her senses and putting a smile back on her face.

"It's nice to meet you too, Chao. And... It's nice hearing that this old friend of mine," she gestured to Abbey, "is actually getting along well with others. She's a bit eccentric at times if you ask me." She nudged Abbey, letting out a chuckle as well. "And... Treasure hunt?"

"I'm only eccentric with you," she pointed out, amused, "Because we know each other so well, don't we, Kei-kei?"

Distracted by the prospect of an activity, Abbey perked up, "Treasure hunt? No, we only just arrived."

((edit: >> << -finishes up hanging sentance-))

Chuckling at the two she grinned, "eccentricty isn't so bad. And yeah, a treasure hunt. Someone just announced it," belated her mind piqued up that person could have, infact, been the musterious administrator of Ar'Idil, Anthony. "Er, anyway, yeah, there're little bronze coins scattered about for the Aerandir, and I'm guessing guardians of unhatched Aerandir, to find. At the end of the festival they can be exchanged for prizes."

"Oh, yes, Keilin, considering you're an Aerandir guardian and must've gone through this, I was wondering, is the jar with the two artifacts supposed to give off a glow after a while?" dispite the fact that both Sanar's jar and Tobais' jar had been glowing Chao was still a tiny bit worried that it was infact something gone wrong and not the norm.

Keilin huffed at Abbey and poked her in her side, sticking a small part of her tongue out so that Chao might have missed it. She then turned away from Abbey, unresponsive. "We only arrived late because of your crazy suggestion," she seemed to say to the empty air.

She listened to Chao's question and then smiled, glad that she had a chance at helping someone relatively new to the Aerandir. This made her feel useful, and a Keilin that feels useful to others is more likely to warm up to people.

"Well, Chata's jar was glowing for a while after the two artifacts were transferred into one jar, but he took a while to come out as a gryphon because..." she winced, a little ashamed of what she had done in the past, "I wasn't exactly looking after him day to night while he was glowing. I suspect that other Aerandir owners have had a much shorter time period for when their jar was glowing until they emerged as a gryphon. But yes, glowing is normal for the Aerandir, unless.. Chata is defected?" She eyed her little Aerandir partner suspiciously. He cawed out in annoyance and nipped on her thin pajamas, getting a "yowch!" in return from Keilin.
