Don't worry about the over-achieving population of asian students - I know many asians who express as sort of blase attitude towards the school system in general and could care less about their grades (unfortunately). neutral
I do hate that stereotype, though. Despite my strengths in subjects that require a certain level of creativity and free thought, my mathematics ability fail me. It's annoying when people turn to me for answers in math and instead receive blank stares, then reprimanding me for not knowing the answer even though "I'm asian".

Gaia RULEZ I don't like math...yet I do well in it for some reason...but now I'm back to normal... biggrin and if you don't agree, well, it's too offensive to say.

I just got accepted into university after I did HORRIBLE in english. Thanks to math my avg went up.

I feel totally left out too. I'm not in any advanced classes. Although I do get very good grades. I just sometimes feel dumb when I'm the only asian in my average class. But it makes me try harder. Not all asians are smart.

Errggh...good at math, but bad at English...that's what ticks me off about the Asian stereotype.
I'm the complete opposite of that!
I'm very good in English, but so horrible in math!

i hate math.... i hate skool period. its agony evry day and worry evrynight. i neva do homework and dont try at all. but it wasnt always like dat, i used to try and i did good at skool. im really smart but im jus lazy at skool. lol... so i guees im differant den most of youz domokun

I tend to do my best at the creative subjects 3nodding
- Also English , History & Science .

I tend to be better at things like English and art. Yeah, okay, art's kind of lame to be good at since grading tends to be more lenient. Let's just say I'm more of a right brain sort of person. (That's the creative side, right?) I was still relatively good at math subjects, though, although I didn't like it all that much. In high school, the highest math I took was calc, and then for some reason, I had to take PRE CALC in college. That bothered me.

people think i'm a real nerd at maths... and I rarely talk at class so they think i'm a real nerds but, NOOOOOOO!!!!!

well my friend got 100% percent in geometry from copying off me and extra credit.i got 98.my mom was mad cause i did not try the extra credit but she did not care that i failed mandarin 11 wtf?
