" Sorry Shikamaru, he's already seen me naked." Yelled Gaara with a smirk.
" Along with everyone else here." added Lee quietly.
Lee looked around the bar noticing that pretty much everyone was paired up with someone except him.
Jiraiya was still free but he sure as hell wasn't going down that route.
He took a sip of his water and thought a moment. As he was thinking he noticed that he wasn't feeling quite well. He looked at his cup and realized the awful truth,
" Oh s**t...this isn't water."
( you know things are going to happen now wink )

A now dressed and somewhat sober Shikamaru *he get's drunk fast and he gets sober VERY fast...lol go figure* sauntered over to lee.

That's it! He snapped and took the bartender by the throat, clenching his teeth. "Dont.Touch.Him." It was unlike Shino to snap like that, but seeing someone else touch Kiba infuriated him. He couldn't stand it. He didn't realize how hard he was clenching his throat until he came back to reality and saw how much the color to his face had changed. He let go but still stood his ground until he was sure he would stay away from Kiba for the rest of night, or even for the rest of his life.
After the bartender was far from Kiba, he calmly sat back down like nothing even happened. But he was still pissed off about that bartender laying his hands on Kiba. I would have killed him right then and there... But... something made me stop... Lucky b*****d... He growled inwardly and tried to forget it, didn't want the night ruined because of that guy.

Kankuro stared at his reflection in the mirror before him, a bored look on his face. Giving a slight yawn, he scratched his head. "Sheesh, why am I even going?" He grumbled to himself.
Because... for once in your life, you might actually have fun.
Scrunching up his face a bit, he adjusted the spiked collar around his neck. The other articles of clothing he wore consisted of spiked bracelets, a black fishnet shirt with nothing but an un-buttoned red button-up shirt over it. A pair of baggy black jeans and a, rather bright, rainbow belt holding them on, as they would probably fall off if he didnt wear it.
Finally deciding that there might be something worth fancying himself up for a party, he finished applying his face-paint. Dark purple lips and eyeliner, a little bit of some neon-green eyeshadow he'd found somewhere in Temari's make-up bag, and black triangles running down from below his eye to the center of his cheeks.
Examining himself once more, he stepped out of his hotel-room bathroom and grabbed his wallet before locking up his room and heading for the hotel where Naruto's party was being held.
On the way to the party, Kankuro tried to think of who he might even be close to looking forward to seeing, that might be at the birthday. Two names popped into his head. Kiba and Shino. He didnt know whether he should've been shocked at thinking of them, disgusted, or just happy, so he just shrugged mentally.
Finding the building the party was held in, he looked at everyone there. Naruto, Itachi Uchiha?, Gaara.... Jiraiya... Rock Lee... Kiba and Shino
The last two figures named distracted him from anyone else there, and he felt something within him stir. But, of course, Shino looked like he was about to bite someone's head off, and Kiba looked like he'd just been molested. And, they looked like they were probably there together...
Sighing inwardly, Kankuro walked over to the bar and stared at the bartender, who just looked dizzily and palely at Shino. Giving a bit of a frown, he quickly reached behind the counter and grabbed whatever bottle was first in his reach. Retreiving his prize, he found it to be Rum.
"Works for me." He grunted, running a finger along the spikes of one bracelet before taking a seat and opening the bottle of booze. Not even grabbing a glass, he took a swig directly from the bottle. After a few swigs, the room was becoming warm.
"'Bout time I got myself drunk." He muttered under his breath.
A Femmenim figure stepped through the doors a little while after Kankuro walked in, long black hair loose in a slight breeze that had stirred. Pinkish lips formed into a smile, as brown eyes observed the gathering before them. A long, wrapped, box rested under one, sleeveless arm, pressed between that and the main body of the figure clad in a sleeveless, pink kimono. Sandled feet, equipped with well peticured, painted toenails moved forward as the figure headed straight for the birthday-boy.
"Naruto!" Haku said, a bit of a smile remaining on his lips. He handed over the box as he approached the boy, the unusual phantom wind catching his hair again. "Happy birthday!" This time, he grinned fully. "I hope you like it." He gave the blonde a short bow.

"Thanks, Shino." Kiba said with a grin, "If you'd scared him any more, he probably would have pissed himself." He slid off the bar out of the barmans reach and sat down...and noticed that two more people haved and arrived. Oh, damn he looks good... he thought as he looked at the sand nin. "Excuse me a moment. I'm gonna go say hello to someone." Kiba said to Shino then moved down to the other end of the bar where Kankuro sat. "Hmm, it appears I have a stalker." he said when he noticed the triangles. "You flatter me Kankuro." He gave the sand nin a smile and leaned against the bar.

Kankuro looked over at Kiba for a moment, contemplating whether he should reply, or not. To buy himself more time, he took another swig from the rum bottle. "You flatter me, for I dont think I'd ever be able to stalk you..." He grunted.
More rum.
More fun.
He leaned back slightly in his chair, his shirt sliding open a bit more to reveal more fishnet'd flesh. "You look better in them, though." Another swig. He was starting to like this... If he drank more, he wouldnt feel as stupid and foolish for saying those things. Noticing there was no liquid coming out of the bottle in his hands, he eyed it.
"But why is the rum gone?" He asked himself.

As the slow realization came to shikamaru as to what lee was drinking, he just walked away. He recalled hearing naruto calling him and it WAS Naruto's party...I mean it would be downright RUDE to ignore him!
"Umm, actually I only dance like that when intoxicated...I get both drunk AND sober pretty quickly...Go figure." Shikamaru said to Naruto. "Why, you liked it?" he asked with a slightly shocked expression, mixed with a rosy titn across his cheeks...

(( xd I knew that line was going to come up as soon as the rum was picked up....always funny though blaugh ))
He couldn't stop his eyes from roaming over the semi-exposed skin. "I knew it wasn't chub under all those clothes." Kiba turned and leaned over the counter to swipe another bottle of rum, not caring that his a*s was pretty but in Kankuros face. Damn, too many choices tonight...maybe I'll get lucky and take two home.

"Hmmm, that would be a definate YES, I think,"said the blond fox boy with a grin. "Too bad you're sober again, the night is young and birthdays are more fun when intoxicated." The blonde noticed a familliar face, especially because it was so pretty, and as Naruto recalled, ahem, 'hotter than Sakura', but of coarse, belonging to Zabuza. "Hey! Haku! Thanks for the present! Make yourself at home, the drinks are on me!" (sorry bout that sweatdrop )
Naruto smiled as the music changed. The current song, he happily noted was Gackt's 'Vanilla.' He grabbed the nearest sake shot whithin reach and downed it, then chucked the empty glass over his shoulder. "Barman, turn up the volume, I love this song!" he yelled. As the music got louder, he started dancing in more and more intricate ways, and grinned as he saw out of the corner of his eye, several jaws drop. A little twist here, a little thrust there, and he would have them eating out of his hands.

Good song choice, by the way)) Kankuro couldnt help but stare, and forced his gaze over to the bottle of rum in Kiba's hands, as he sortof remembered that Shino was pissed off about something, and he thought that it had to do with Kiba, and it probably wouldnt be a good idea to get too close... But he wanted to...
"I've been working out..." He grunted, not knowing exactly what to say about the dog-boy's comment. He reached for the rum bottle, hoping the other would give it to him. It was now more of the cool liquid running down his throat, then the thought of getting drunk, or even its flavor.

Kiba let him have the bottle and turned so his back was against the bar. "You know, I'm kinda surprised you came. I didn't think this was your type of thing. Not that I'm complaining....you look hot." He grinned, "You should wear less clothes more often." Or no clothes. Either is fine with me. He looked over to where Shino still sat. Damn, he's probably mad at me now...I probably just through my chance with him out the window.

Shino grumbled under his breath as he noticed Kiba was taking interest in Kankuro. Right, he wasn't really interested in me... What was I thinking...? He downed more sake trying ignore Kankuro and Kiba. Why am I getting so jealous..? It's not like we're... a couple... He sighed burrying his face into his folded arms. I... I can't just roll over and play dead now... I.. I can't... He downed more sake only making him feel more depressed than usual. He sighed as his eyes searched the place. Everyone seemed to be having fun, but he caught sight of an unusual face. One that seemed so angelic. And in a way cute. Wait? cute? He glanced over at Kiba who seemed to preoccupied with Kankuro to notice Shino's sudden sober moment. Well, I guess... I could find out if he really does like me... But..He stopped realizing he didn't want to take that chance.No... I'll... I'll just wait for him... Even if that guy is cute and feminine like... I.. I only have eyes for Kiba...

Kiba looked back at Shino and saw that he was drinking more and seemed down. Great, now he looks depressed and it's probably because of me. He sighed. "I need some air." He made his way through the crowed of people and went out the door.
((er, sorry for the lame post. I have to get to bed 'cause I have to get up early. I'll be at a friends house for a couple days and will post again when I get back on Wed. I made him go outside so he wasn't just standing there it the way ^.^ Talk to everyone later and party on!))

He watched as Kiba left and sat there, wanting to go outside with him. But, that might be a bad idea. "Kiba..." I wish I could just confess to you... but if I did... Would you say you felt the same...? Would you... love me back...? Burrying his face away again, things seemed to be getting too complicated just when he thought he had Kiba all to himself. But I was only a fool... He was only playing around with me... He doesn't have any deep feelings for me at all... He groaned again, knowing that sulking wasn't going to fix anything. Maybe if I can just get him off my mind for awhile...
