Erik laughed darkly at Carlotta's song, finding it much more amusing than something like that should be. He eyed the ropes, and suddenly realized the Spaniard was standing right beneath a rather heavy backdrop. How utterly perfect he thought to himself, leather gloves contstricting as he held the catwalk railing tighter, filled with gleeful malice.

Raoul grinned broadly at the managers and shook both of their hands.
"Indeed all is well," he replied.
Raoul and the two men maintained general chat as they led the way to the rehearsal of the upcoming opera....

The two managers lead the Vicomte through the lobby and to the stage, where La Carlotta was belting out an aria at the very top of her lungs. Neither Andre nor Firmin were particurlary pleased with the prima donna's voice, but she sold tickets, and that was what everything boiled down to in the end, wasn't it? Awful or not, people still came to see her. And now they had the Vicomte de Changy as their patron!!! Things were going very well indeed.

((Well, if she didn't answer, shouldn't the role of christine be open for others now? Maybe we should we wait a little more! PErhaps she's having problems with her internet or she's really busy or something. And I think I'll stick with Carlotta being Spanish for now, since its either that or she's ITalian. Not really an important parrt of the plot now, is it? ^_^))
