ūtiktik e(like)
Or "Your language I like", so you were close. whee
I don't have a word for 'like' yet. sweatdrop
Words like "this" or "that" aren't even in the language - everything is possessive, so it's either mine, yours, his, hers, etc.
And thank you! whee

You keep referring back to it? Wow, I didn't think anyone checked out my thread (other than Serali) whee
I'm actually surprised in how many people like my language. I'm not very impressed with my work, but that's probably because I don't know a lot about... anything language related really.
And "like" is in the list of "things to translate into Etiktik", trust me. I just have trouble getting into the zone because my job is very tiring so when I get home I just want to go straight to bed.

Yeah, I really do like it. =)
The thought of attaching everything with possessives never occurred to me before. ^_^ ---------------- Ah, I see. I get tired too. No! Wait!
Ekas. [Our tiredness].
;D
Do you know how to say "I see"(As in the expression, not the sense of vision)? 'Cause I think it would be more like "my agreement" or "my acknowledgment" for something like "I see" in English. It's more of a way of saying. "Oh, I get it" or "I understand"... Maybe "my understanding"?
(I used "my yes" because I thought it might be right...)
And I can't find the word for "our".... Would I just use "u" for "everyone's tiredness"? =/
Sorry! So many questions! xD

"Our" I haven't quite figured out yet. I'll probably make a few more words to suit different situation. "Our" with only two people "Mine and yours" "his and hers" etc. will probably be the simplest as I'll probably just do it lazy like and use both prefixes to describe the situation. There would be a short pause between the sounds before moving onto the rest of the sentence.
So [our tiredness] would probably be "eū[tiredness]" or "eh oo [tiredness]" ... or "My your tiredness" ... or loosely in English "Mine and your tiredness"
And the order the vowels comes in is: e, ū, a, ā or: my, your, hers, his
Yes, it's uncomfortable I'll admit, but it's simple and that's the main rule of this language.
As for "I see", you eventually got it. It will be "My understanding" once I come up with the word for understanding/comprehension/etc.

Ok, I'm sure if you even quickly glance over the first page, you'll notice a bit of a change.
I added some of the pictographs to the word list following the correct word.
Most words won't have these pictographs following them, mostly because they don't actually exist (mainly pictographs belong to things like objects, animals, plants, etc.)

Pistil Yay for the ever increasing vocabulary list! 4laugh ... too bad I can't say that in Etiktik yet though. rofl You will be able too, you just have to start making the vocab as fast as you can. And don't procrastinate. Or I swear I'll come over to your house and make you do it. And you wouldn't want that trust me. mrgreen You have been warned of the consequences. Good Day. Boingy! mrgreen

It's hard not to procrastinate right now. My bf just moved to a different city and I'm moving within the next month - so right now is kind of crazy.

I don't think you should rush your vocab. I take a certain amount of time out of my day for Yiwoyuwa and I've found vocab is easier to remember when you systematically create it. So I actually think about each word I make very carefully before adding it. I don't come up with a word a day even, one time I spent three whole days thinking about what to call water! xD Perhaps you should try the same? =)
