Cagalli Yura Attha bob is my own. One fateful battle, the blood angels were ambushed by renegade imperial guardsmen. Even the Death Company were blown up. One man survived. A lone marine by the name of Bob. He passed his leadership test, and black raged the full amount towards the enemy, surviving 18 lasgun shots and dodging an autocannon at point blanc range, before raging into the guardsmen and killing 6 of them, causing them to retreat. He was from that day forth Veteran Sergeant bob. On his next battle, bob's units took cover on the balcony of a civillian house. An ork krak missile went straight for him. Surely, that is death? NO. For bob uses the wooden balcony for cover (roll a 6 or die) and, thwarted the krak missile 3 times before the Orks were close enough. His team raged off of the balcony and into the horde, destroying it! Exactly, a character who just so happens to have ungodly good luck and gets the extra points spent on him. And doesn't need silly things like special rules.

Dark-Krazy No force commanders are fine, they are in the standard army lists. I mean characters like: Elrad Ulthuan and Marnius Calgar and Ghazkull any of those back of codex chars. I put up with the emporers champion because he's as much a hindrance as an advantage, but I don't have to like it. I don't even make my own special characters, I just play with the standard codex mini's. Heck My chaplain "Jeff Plasmaismyfriend" only ever gets artificer armour and a plasma pistol. I name them but I don't give them silly things like the back of book chars.... Mind you "jeff" has irritated many a foe Haha, awesome... I'll probably not get any special characters, for one, I work part time and don't have the money to blow on that many special pieces. I was tempted to get Dawn of War today, since it would be a cheaper alternative to the board game... though I do plan on investing in the regular boardgame thingy.

I sold the others when I quit, all apart from the lucky Veteran Sergeant Bob. He was my omen. And he shall be part of the command squad in my new army. I don't care HOW bad his paint job is.

Dark-Krazy re-painting isn't hard, just stripping the origional coat can be nasty The paint is lucky too. plus if you just use some alcohol on a tissue, that can sometimes shift paint without melting the plastic. then for the details... Surgical stitch cutting blade I stole from the hospital.

DarkElf27 Dark-Krazy re-painting isn't hard, just stripping the origional coat can be nasty why bother? just paint over it! As I said. It's a newbie paint job. Ie, the paint is THICK and wasn't watered down at time of application.

DarkElf27 Dark-Krazy re-painting isn't hard, just stripping the origional coat can be nasty why bother? just paint over it! .... are you serious. Stripping the paint is the only way to remove the brush marks, it makes the finished re-painted product look so much more professional. Cagalli: i know luck is so..... superstitious isn't it. I mean i hate it when folks touch my lucky dice don't you. My dad actually works in the hospital so I can get a lot of sterile surgiacal grade blades as I want.

I would repaint him if I wasn't in total belief the paint holds some of his luck. And I use the goldy citadel miniatures paint. That globby shite.
