 Laure Angela LongstaffLaure had decided to play some old arcade looking game, Pac-Man, when some boy bumped into her. She was a little surprised, and her hair seems to flicker with some color but returns to normal just as quickly. "It's ok, I was in my own world." She replies and starts to wonder why he seemed to not want to look at her. "Wanta plays one of these games with me?" She asks meaning any of the random ones that she didn't really get how to play.

Leo looked up at her and briefly made eye contact before breaking it, almost like he was perpetually nervous or scared. "Oh uh sure, what do you want to play?.....Since you offered and all....." Leo replied. He actually didn't mind playing with others, he liked being around people just interacting he could do better on. He hoped he didn't seem too creepy to the girl she seemed nice. she didn't immediately think his paleness and white hair was weird, so maybe they could have fun together.

Laure Angela LongstaffLaure smiles a little so he could look at her in the eye even if it was only a moment. So what to play since he said ok, something for multi players. She spots a game where you shoot baskets. "How about the basketball one?" She asks thinking it might be fun. "I don't normally play arcade games," she admits as they head over to the game.

"Yea basketball sounds cool." Leo said trying to at least look at her properly even if it wasn't as much in the eyes. He had so much trouble looking people in the eye because he was admittedly scared of people even if he did like people. Until a year or so ago he always had mean angry people that yell at him for not being like them and tough. He feared what people though of him. This girl seem to think he was ok right? She had invited him to stay and play games even though he ran into her. He quite enjoyed himself and didn't do half bad either. He did get some tickets out of the deal. "Did you want my tickets. I don't come here enough to do much with them..." He asked still timidly but better. If one was physiologically versed he did carry the air of having been abused.

Laure Angela LongstaffLaure was having fun playing the games maybe even a little more than she expected for her hair changes from her normal looking red hair, to a bright orange color. She doesn't even notice as she shooting hoops with, the pale guy, Leo. She was also happy he seemed to be having fun too.
After thew game had ended she had a few tickets and had no clue what to do with them. "Same here I don't even know what to do with these." Really she didn't even know she would get tickets at all. Maybe it was a good idea to play games just to learn more about them. With a big smile on her face, "Want to play a few more games with me?"

"Well we can save them and see what we can get. I'm pretty good with the skee ball we couldd do that one." Leo said. While still timid he was definitely more friendly. Her hair seemed differant though wasn't it more natural red not carrot orange? Prehaps the lighting was differant? Either way it was more than what his hair was more just white. It use to be light blonde but when his healing power showed up that changed. When they got to the skeeball he was infact quite good. He got lots of points and they would have to wait a solid minute for his tickets to print. He was a tad embaressed by his weird skeeball athleticism .

Laure Angela Longstaff "Skee ball sounds fun," Laure replies. She wasn't as good as he was but she got the idea rather quickly. She was having lots of fun once their tickets were printing, she smiles a little "That was lots of fun, Just what are we going to do with all of these?" She asks holding up her tickets as she indicates his. They had plenty of tickets for a few small prizes or even one of the big ones.
"Let's get something," She walks over to where you can choose prizes. Looking things over she was smiling she had a good time with the boy, odd since she has yet to learn his name.As she was looking at the prizes she hears some kids talking at first she didn't get what they what talking about. Something about not letting freaks walk in the open. Kinda rude since she thought they looked like freaks, normal humans but still freaky looking. "You shouldn't be so mean to others," She says glaring at them her hair starting to change from orange to red. She didn't even know that the guys were making fun of her new friend.

Leo carried their tickets to the prize center and was looking at the prices. They past by a group of guys that made his heart drop. "Suprised they let the pale a** freaks in here. I wonder if we push Ghost Boy will he fall trough a wall." One guy said as they passed. 'Please don't....' He thought hearing the other guys laugh in agreement. He was prepared for the implied pushing when he heard the girl he was with speak up in defense. He looked up at her just in time to see her hair change from orange to red. He was happier but the bullies where not deterred "Looks like we got more than one freak today."The bully said approching. "Whatcha going to do if i dont, huh? At this point the bully was close enough and shoved her. Leo was too suprised at the sudden rescue then fight to do anything but stand there looking shocked.

Laure Angela LongstaffThe brats pushed her, were they trying to see her get mad? This was a place for fun not fighting, "Hey, don't fight here." Laure hears the girl at the prize booth say, clearly she didn't want a fight there. Laure didn't really want to fight but getting pushed like that hurt the guys were strong. She could play with their emotions but then people are not easy to predict with emotions.
"You should look in a mirror before calling others freaks. But seeing as your personality is ten times worse you might miss the point." She slips in some self-doubt into the two boys minds. Hoping that would get them to back down her hair becoming brighter red like it was on fire. The two were pissing her off that much. She was ready to just bolt out of there but she wasn't going to leave alone her new friend was coming to, she wouldn't leave him with these guys around, "Let's get out of here," She mumbles after getting a little closer to Leo.

Leo was conflicted part of him wanted to jump in and help but the other half was petrified. His new friend was aiming to leave and he nodded in agreement and left with haste. He kept looking back to see if they where being folowed. Luckily they weren't. The made it to an alley to catch their breath and try to calm down. He had just leaned up when whe saw one of the last things he wanted to see. The boys from the arcade where back with back up. One of said back up was weiding a knife. His friend was facing away and would be unable the react. What heroics he had kicked in. "Watch out!" Leo said pushing her relative safety. Unfourtuntly this left him him getting the wound instead. It sure as hell hurt and there was blood on his sleeve now. He instinctively held the would though by the time he steped back it was already healed like he never was cut, other than the bloody rip in his shirt. He still held it as the pain would fade soon. Unfourtuntly the bullies were out for blood.

Laure Angela LongstaffAs soon as it was clear Leo was running so was Laure. She wished she knew a way to just end the fight but her powers changing their emotions only that little seemed to make them madder, not that they would have been able to tell she did anything. So running was a great choice, why would those two want to follow after all? Soon they were a few blocks away and in an alleyway. it didn't seem that they were followed so Laure had relaxed and her hair tho it still had a few odd colors in it was mostly back to normal. Just then Loe pushes her out of the way and she sees him get stabbed. Her hair loses all color and goes white. She was scared. Soon she sees that the guys from before were back with a few friends and they were looking for a fight. She was no good with fist fights it why she used words before and then ran but there was no place to run now. The group attacked them and soon Laure was on the ground getting kicked. She was in so much pain but they didn't stop till she heard some sirens then she blacked out.

Leo knew they where out numbered but knowing he couldn't die by just a knife and fists he was braver that and he wanted to protect his friend as much as possible. He made sure the knife guy and most of the friends picked him. He got stabed three times slashed twice all healed fast but still hurt and it left his shirt looking like he should have neen murdered. He was just starting to give to the pain when the sound of unrelated sirens went off and scared the assailants away. As the most recent wound healed he went over to his friend. Good she wasnt dead. He could fix that, but it knock him out at this point. He could tell wher her injuries where and proceeded to heal them, fixing cracked ribs, a broken arm, many place where bruises would form be waited on the busted lip and gash on her head for last as healing them would wake her up

Laure Angela LongstaffLaure wakes up and grabs her side however the pain was gone. She looks up at Leo, "I don't hurt... hows that passable?" she asks then smiles. She didn't hurt wich was very good then she sees Leo shirt and the blood covering it. "What happened to you. Yours covered in blood." she grabs him but sees no cuts on his skin and becomes more confused.

Leo jumped a bit with her sudden but expected awakening. She instantly went to check her wounds but found them gone. She immediately went to check him as he looked like he was comming back from a halloween party. "I healed you up. You had a few broken bones and come cuts and bruises but they're gone now. Me? I do that on my own...." He said knowing it be useless to hide his power. Besides she seemes a mutant too. Dont think theres a color changing hair dye. He was glad she was ok "We should at least know each others names at this point, I'm Leo" He said realizing they never had the chance to give names. "If you have a car we can go to our homes for new clothes....."

 Laure Angela LongstaffShe smiles, "I'm Laure Longstaff, an Empath." She smiles a little her hair seems to be changing a bit but it looked almost normal. She leans back on the wall. "I don't drive, the drivers here are too crazy." She closes her eyes, "We should move in any case. There should be a cab nearby and some street stalls selling clothes." she always saw them when walking around as long as it wasn't too late they should be able to buy at least new shirts. getting up she grabs her purse that was thrown in a dumpster. Luckily everything was still in it. "Unless you have a better idea."
