✪ Rue was happy that Tachibana Sempai allowed him to change the subject for their conversation and what he heard was actually a bit fascinating. Tachibana Sempai was disciplined, or reserved, not sure which word fit better for his Sempai. He watched him polish off the cake, but he couldn't get going with the pie that was sitting in his lap at the time. He wanted to throw it away.
"That's nice. Your father having so much trust in your judgement." He said, nodding his head once before he began to poke at the lemon meringue pie.

✤ Kuroh felt sorry for the lemon meringue pie that had only one bite taken out of it. Despite the delicacy level of it not being delicious, it still needs to be eaten. He's seen plenty enough people who would order a pastry and leave half or not touch it all. A waste of money and ingredients all together.
"It is because I am the heir of the record label that he will soon entrust to me. So this job right now, is if not the stepping stone of trust." Other than that, he had some minor yet major positions to do at the record label. Nor matter how small they were, they helped keep the gears of the job going. ✤

✪ "Oh, that's a serious way to put it." Rue said before he began to absentmindedly eat the pie after hearing Sempai's words. He couldn't help but imagine how Sempai would be managing a big time record label company and the people who he would hire. Oh Sempai was no fool, the people there would be trustworthy, unless they can hide their dark intentions very, very well. These thoughts stopped when the fork hit the bottom part of the plastic that the pie was cased in before being placed in that pastry box. Rue looked at the empty plastic bottom before looking at Tachibana Sempai.....He had nothing to say. He knew the conversation would steer right back to his job and his mother and he didn't want that.
Or...maybe he could handle it now? He stopped himself from getting upset, raising his voice, changed the subject while he was internally cooling down, maybe it would all right to go back to his work and mother.

✤ Kuroh could see his kouhei had become more level in his thinking. Good. And that the pie had been eaten as well. Perhaps he could come to him more often to listen to his troubles. He dug into his pocket and took out his cellphone. Even if he wasn't there in person, he'd listen through other means. "Give me your number and I'll give you mine. Call me. Text me. I don't want you to be a stranger, come around even at school. I'll listen day or night."
After the exchange. He patted the soft locks again. "Keep smiling, chin up, keep looking forward. Hurry home, I'll see you at school tomorrow." ✤

✪ Rue was taking a minute to breathe before looking over at Kuroh to see him bring out his cellphone. He was blushing again because of what he was thinking......and he was glad that he was half-right, "Ah...okay Sempai." He said, finding his own cell phone and bringing it out to give to Kuroh so they could put each other's numbers in. Moving a strand of hair from his smiling face at this moment happening. He could swoon, but he won't.
"Yes. Arigato, Sempai... He said, getting up and leaving when told to do so. He would go home and once he locked the door behind him, swoon. Falling on the couch as he stared at the Tachibana's number.

✤ Kuroh was pleased. He stood and picked up the trash and tossed it away. It was only right to do so, leave it better than when you first found it. He began his walk home. Only to find that his father was still laden in a mess of paperwork at work this time around.
He took out his cell phone. [Sleep tight Kouhei.] Was the message he sent to Rue before crawling under the covers himself and fell asleep.
He got up in the morning and began his usual dragging routine to get out the door. The Judo Club wanted his assistance in there morning training this morning and he wasn't sure if had the energy to deal with it. He only stopped at a vending machine to load up on the ten of the sickly sweet concentrated fruit drinks. At least it should buy him a little time. He'd rather empty the machine of what it had and maybe a few more along the way that might fall victim but he had limitations. ✤

✪Rue Rin=========
✪ Rue was prepping some items for tomorrow when his phone buzzed with a text. He read it and for the next half hour was conflicted with sending him a text back......eventually, he decided to send, [Good Night, Sempai.] He sighed as he just felt the anxiety settle in. He's probably asleep. He won't see that till the morning. Why did I send anything?! He thought and decided to distract his thoughts by baking. He made a "larger than average" cupcake and put it into the fridge to be chilled overnight for Sempai tomorrow before going to bed himself. .
When morning came, he would be up and ready to go fairly quickly. He was moving a lot faster than usual and he only noticed this when he arrived at school. He did manage to remember the cupcake and kept it in those refrigerator lunch bags inside of his own backpack......I'm getting too excited... He thought decided to sit down in the library and read for a bit before classes started. .

✤ Kuroh gathered the usual lunches shoved at him and the love letters that filled his shoe locker. He would have to stomach these another day and find the writers of the frilly papers later. He stumbled past the library and halted then turned back around. Perhaps someplace quiet would be better to hide, at least to get a little nap in before class starts. He did wake up early to help the Judo Club.
He barely made it to a table tucked into the back of the stacks and tucked his face into the folds of his arms. He was exhausted. ✤

✪Rue Rin=========
✪ Rue didn't notice how people were moving in and out of the library as more students arrived onto the campus. He would look up sometimes when people would walk by the table where he was studying and there he saw Tachibana-Sempai walk in. He looked so sluggish and tired....yeah, he was tired. He wondered what happened to make him so exhausted. He waited a few moments before taking the chance, removing the big cupcake from the refrigerated lunch pack. He quietly walked over and then put down the cupcake in front of his arms, before lightly tapping his shoulder. He would turn the corner into an aisle of books.
But he separated some of the books under the guise that he was pulling one out to look over just to see his Sempai's reaction.

✤ Maybe he should have drained the vending machine of all of its fruity concentrated syrupy drinks, who cares if the girls cry over it, he needed sugar. He. Needed. Sugar. And maybe one more vending machines along his path....he let out a slow sigh, quiet and his shoulders visibly showing the action. His eyelids were heavy and the smell of the polished table made him want to sleep.
There was a tap, seemingly knocking on his senses. Who wanted him? A teacher? A Club Leader? An Admirer? Might as well see who it is. Kuroh drug his head up to look over his shoulder. He blinked. It had to be practical jokers and those were few and far in between. He sighed and went to go drop his head back into the nest of arms.
He caught site of the package in front of him and he only knew who could have made it. Yet the kouhei was no where around.
"Rin-kouhei, there is no need to hide. Come out." ✤

✪ Rue let out a quiet squeak when Tachibana called out to him. Well, it meant that maybe he didn't see him after being tapped on the shoulder.....a blush was forming. He was embarrassed to go out there and speak with his Sempai again. He took a few breaths to calm him down before putting the book he was "reading" back on the shelf.
Coming out from behind the bookcase with his hands so innocently behind his back, "Y-Yes...Tachibana-Sempai?" He would answer, having a small smile on his face as he looked at him. He hoped he would like the little present.

✤ Rin-kouhei," he began after his underclassman had situated himself next to him, so shy and timid like. "Please don't hide when you give me the sweets, you can confront me. You have the courage, it has always been with in your reach."
Then he placed a hand on top of the blue locks and rubbed rin's head. "It shows when you are not looking." Kuroh was able to read other people and discern their character and the hidden character underneath. ✤

✪ Rue began to blush with embarrassment when Tachibana-sempai gave him a light reprimand for hiding away. Being so courageous? Around him? Easier said than done, so much easier for a guy who had confidence in himself. Couldn't help but let out a small whine as he looked down, feeling Tachibana rubbing his head, It can start small.....just say hi to him? He thought, looking at his Sempais' face.
"Y-yes, Sempai.." He answered, looking over at the cupcake he brought him, "Ah, do you want to taste it?" He asked.

✤ Seeing that his Kouhei had dropped the timid tension he gave a small smile. That was good. Indeed good.
It wasn't until he remembered how sugary drained he was until Rin brought up the subject of the sweet in the box. Mornings did not agree with him. Working out so early did not agree with him. Having low blood pressure did not agree with him. And low blood sugar level's on top, really did not agree with him. "Of course."
He needed a real recharge. He opened up the box and beheld the most glorious sight that was basking in front of him. A delicacy begging to be eaten though it looked more for a museum. He took out a small dessert fork and sliced a piece of the cupcake and put it in his mouth and savored it.
Melting colors down his throat and into his stomach. Another wonderful piece of heaven. "Scrumptious." Even though it was the first bite, it earned praise. ✤
