Cody looked at her when said that she was fine and was reading one of the books but when she asked about him, he thought it over, "Um... well I was born in this city, but my father said that he and uncle moved here when they were younger, grandma moved here when father and uncle were very young." He explained to her.

The minute he spoke about his father and uncle being moved with their grandmother that struck a cord with her. It seemed they'd had a mysterious past; that could have something to do with the fact Cody was in a human form. "was it just your grandmother then; it mustive been hard tending too two little boys." She smiled softly right as the waiter brought them their food.

Cody looked at her when she spoke but he thought it over, "Yeah, my father told me she had to leave Grandfather and the village they grew up in because of her family... my father told me he would explain when i was older but never had the chance." He explained not helping his case with her when he mentioned his family leaving a village they werent allowed in.

As soon as he mentioned the fact his grandmother had to leave that sent a chill up her spine. When she was younger her mother had told her horror stories of charms that made purebred anthros lose their power. She said it was used as a form of punishment for some crime; it would condemn the off spring to be "mortal" unless they touched another charm. Her mother had told her it was only used for those who committed crimes, she didn't even have the slightest idea someone could even try using one out of malicious intent or jealousy. "i'm sorry, i'm truly sorry about that. If only your father were around then you might know where to find your grandfather assuming he still lived. Whatever they held against your mother i'm sure it wasn't horrible" As she spoke she slowly began eating the food the waiter had brought. Sadly it didn't look as if Cody was shedding much light in his favor; she'd have to cut this visit short and make a few calls.

Cody thought it over, "Well i remeber hearing that he had come to her funeral and passed on later so i can guess that they are with each other now." He said looking up at her before seeing that she seemed spooked, but he didnt understand how she could be.

Hearing Cody talk she smiled "well i guess they are..." Aslinn said as she let out a small yawn before blushing. She was unsure what Cody must be thinking however she was starting to crash just like he'd said she was doing earlier.

Cody looked at her when she smiled but then noticed her small yawn, "Finally crashing huh? Would you like me to walk you back to your shop or help you get home? You can finish your work tomorrow." He said kindly to her, thinking that it was a good offer.

Aslinn shook her head no and tried telling him she wasn't crashing. "no no no i'm just fine..." she said right before yawning "a bit more to go on what i'm currently working on." She pulled out her wallet and slid more than enough money down to pay for the bill and a tip before she stood up and nearly lost her balance for a moment..

Cody looked at her when she tried to stand and almost fell ovee which he got up and helped her stand, "Come on... let me help you home before you pass out or worse..." He said that but didnt know that her tired brain and paranoia could have gotten the better of her.

nightmare_rabbit_alice When Cody helped her up she tried pulling away. When he offered to walk her home she sighed "I'll be fine i'll just hail a cab and pass out in my office at the shop. It's got a nice couch and some spare pillows and a few blankets." Aslinn didn't feel comfortable with him knowing where she lived until she got this mess sorted out. Considering how she'd told him she didn't like burdening people it wouldn't seem as if she were not wanting to bother ad burden him.

Cody thought it over, he could tell that she was tired, "Alright... at least let me help you to the cab..." He said as he began to walk with her outside, hailing a cab for her but when she was about to leave, he gently smiled to her, "I hope that you feel better... see you soon." He said meaning that he wanted to check to see that she was okay, once again unknowing of her paranoia.

Aslinn let him help her to the cab and she got in telling the driver to take her back to the jewelry store. When Cody said he hoped she felt better she smiled weakly. "thank you" When he said see you soon she nodded at him nodded at him. Once that was all done the driver began taking her back to the store. ((do you think we should time skip again and have Aslinns sister appear.))

(Yes) Cody looked at her and waved bye to her and he soon went back to his book shop. A couple more days passed and Cody would call Aslinn now and then to make sure she wasn't working herself to death, but then one day, he looked around as he found that before he called her, he had noticed a woman looking around at his store door and around. He walked out of the store and looked at her, "Can I help you ma'am?" He asked curiously to her, not knowing that she was Aslinn's sister.

 Keira was looking at all the books when the boy spoke to her. She smiled softly at him and said "i'm sorry i was trying to bide time until my boss sent me directions. I'm a personal assistant and i was trying to pick up his daughters gift at animal instincts jewelry company; but i'm afraid i don't know where it is." When she said that she carefully pushed hr red hair out of her face and blushes softly. She had come to this store because she'd heard from a source that this boy was running around with her little sister. Aslinn had spent the past several days somewhat paranoid; she'd gotten ahold of one of her fathers gem makers and had them produce a charm opposite of what her's did. She'd wanted to confirm for herself that Cody was anthro and not that her nose was playing tricks on her. It had just showed up and she was busy finding a chain to put it on.

Cody looked at her sister and thought it over, he was getting a strange feeling about this woman but when he just figured that she would need some help like how he helped Aslinn, he decided to lock up early because it wasnt busy and he was worried about Aslinn. When he talked to her sister, he lead her to the store and looked around, "Aslinn?" He asked walking a bit to the back door of the main shop to see if she was there, walking to the back storage area where she was.
