Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || ExwireAlexandria had hit a brick wall. The exam changed languages to something she didn't understand. It didn't look like any human language she had seen. Leaning her chin into her palm she put her pin down- there wasn't much work to be done with it for now. Although, it made her wonder why the exam had changed to perhaps a demon tongue? She began to flip through its lengthy pages seeing that the exam would in fact change dialects numerous times. ‘Perhaps it isn't what it seems.’ She thought as she wondered what exactly the meaning of it was. She had been oblivious to the pale girl crossing the hall and to Ignazio’s footsteps following her. As, they hadn't bothered her at all.
Alexandria’s olive eyes wandered as she began to tap her fingers on the table impatiently, it bothered her that the reason seemed so obscure to her. Then she heard someone shouting, at the top of their lungs, Alexandria couldn't help but look towards the direction of the sound. The pale girl was yelling at Victor, perhaps not such a surprise given their previous ‘conversations’. While the pale girl seemed to be throwing something Victor’s way; Alexandria noticed the crowd that had been surrounding the two. All Exorcist’s from the Demonology class- all people who were likely in similar situations by having an exam that they wouldn't be able to finish by themselves. Ironic? ‘Perhaps this is just another jab to make us work together… This teamwork thing is after all something our professors keep mentioning.’ Alexandria couldn't help but sigh, working with people was among the last things she felt like doing today. But, perhaps she didn't have a choice anymore.
She turned away, instead now staring towards the kitchen door, playing with her pen. Spinning it around as if it was a flag and she was some member of a color guard. She heard footsteps coming from the direction her classmates had been. Although, not yet bothering to see who had come to ask something of her this time. She heard Victor’s voice; he was trying to be polite and said very little to her in means of what the others thought- just told her of their plans to meet.
Alexandria turned towards him,”You’re a mess.” She said simply as she looked him over. A moment later leaning towards him and bringing up her own napkin to his chin. She quickly wiped the pale pink ice-cream from him before she sat down once more. Speaking quickly and quietly she questioned him,”With all that commotion, that is all you know? I don’t believe you.” Alexandria once more leaned her chin into her palm as she studied him with one of her numerous piercing gazes, she didn't really want to go to the library without a good reason. And likely wouldn't go if it was just some sort of awkward study group between what would appear to be five of them. And that’s when it started to make sense; ‘Perhaps it has something to do with the papers- they should all be different… Or at least that is what the professor said, if I've the Queen of the skies then then maybe they have different ones? But then who would have the last one? And then what?’ Alexandria hoped Victor would have answer that would clear up some of her thoughts. But perhaps he didn't know much either. It was hard to tell from the look on his face, he was clearly still a bit upset at the other girl.

Ms. Black's outburst was something unexpected, and as she continued yelling, he slowly began to understand what she was trying to do. However, he did not expect her to toss his sundae at his face. To keep up with appearances, he put on a face of total shock, while on the inside, he wanted to laugh and commend her for her stunning performance. Ignazio had then asked if he remembered the various trips he had made with his family to the Barthomeloi manor, and he could not help but laugh and nod his head. "Of course I remember it." In his eyes, no other family had such a home, and when compared to his family's castle, the Barthomeloi's manor was easily a place he would want to live if the Great Exorcist Families ever decided to switch homes. The Barthomeloi manor was always a great trip for him, and discovering new things within it was always great fun for him. When Ignazio's explanation was something that indeed warranted them all working together, and to that, he stood from is seat as he watched Victor move to approach Ms. Ferdinand."Alright then, shall we join Ms. Black? questioned Lloyd as he put his bag across his shoulder. Seeing as it was a rhetorical question, he began walking after Ms. Black, paper in one hand, and water in the other.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Victor was hoping that Alexandria was in a good enough mood to follow along and she was. Looking her over, she didn't have that coldness to her like before. She told Victor was a mess and he didn't really catch on to what she meant until she leaned a bit closer with a napkin. He didn't move as Alexandria wiped under his chin. It seemed that he had missed some of the dessert while wiping himself. His expression changed from one of wonder to one of appreciation with a smile. She continued and asked him if that was all that he knew. Alexandria wasn't stupid and had a good ability to deduce from what she gathered around her very much like situational awareness. Victor looked beside her to see if anyone was listening and continued, mirroring her volume. "Well, it seems that our assignments differ from one to the other and that they are somehow connected like pieces in a puzzle. It's something about finding some key or something like that. I mean, I didn't figure it all out but it sounds like Lloyd and Ignazio over there know what their talking about." Victor said putting his hands in his pockets and shrugging. "I'm willing to just go and see what it's all about. I can't read most of these chicken scratches anyway." Victor explained. It was easy to see that Victor was just a passenger on this train to discovery and wasn't afraid to show it.

Exwire Ignazio shoved his hands into the pockets of the crimson pants before following behind Lloyd. He glanced over his shoulder to check on Victor and to see if he could convince Alexandria to come along with them. ”Good Luck” he thought to himself for Victor as he moved down the long walkway of the cafeteria and the images of his childhood slowly started to flash through his head, to think that Lloyd had grown so much to fit his family’s name so well, that left Ignazio thinking about how he’s shown the Barthomeloi name; shamefully compared to his perfect sister, she who was the spitting image of what a Bathomeloi was supposed to be, and Ignazio was just a child still crying over the loss of his mother. Keeping his head raised he took in a deep breath as he thought about some of his accomplishments but with each one came some sort of disappointment. He closed his eyes for a second and then exhaled as they reached the door. ”I must really suck” he muttered as he walked out of the cafeteria heading to the library. ’Fire, Earth, Water, Rot, that leaves Wind and the final piece of the puzzle Destruction and Birth although figuring out who got that piece of the puzzle will be a pain in the a**, there are four sections of that class, and if this is a real test the number of people who would have that piece would be limited to about one or two per class. Meaning not everyone is meant to pass.’ He continued walking down the halls as he was thinking until reaching the library; somewhere he knew a lot of about because he’s spent many sleepless nights there on a regular if he couldn’t find what he needed in his room or back at the dormitory.

Alexandria Elaine Ferdinand Doctor || Knight || ExwireHe spoke softly as well after taking a look to see if other people were listening. Victor told her Ignazio and Lloyd, that must have been the prince’s name she concluded, seemed to think it were some kind of puzzle. Alexandria looked away, speaking slowly aloud;”So like a map?” She’d asked rhetorically. A map to something could vary likely be what it was. Although- how or what it would lead to was beyond her. ”Well then, I suppose I’ll have to join you guys.” She said, looking back up to him with a smile.
Shortly after standing up and throwing her bag over her shoulder, and packing her things with in it. Alexandria looked back to him,”You should seriously consider a shower and a change of clothes.” She said with a small smile. It would probably be his last chance to clean up before their next class- truth be told. Alexandria didn't wait for him to respond as she simply waved as she passed by,”See you.” She said softly, she wasted no time walking to the grand arched doorway as she too had to do a few things.

Victor Rodrigo de Asturias Fighter || Aria || Exwire || 1st Year Victor smiled as Alexandria agreed to go and gather with them. She seemed to be getting it more than Victor and that pleased him. With that, she was quickly on her way. Before Alexandria left, she suggested he clean up, making him look down at his clothes. He could see the ugly whitish stain on his suit jacket from the ice cream and frowned. Victor looked back up to Alexandria to see her walking away, waving. He watched her for a moment before he noticed another student beside him, looking at him suspiciously. "What?" He said to the female. She then smiled gleefully. "You like her." She said. "Pssh." Victor said looking back to where she had gone to see that she had left. At that moment, he felt something vibrate in his jacket pocket. He looked confused but then realized it was his phone, his other phone. Victor pulled it out and looked at it to see a text on it's touchscreen. It read: 'Status Report'. Victor began to make his way to his dormitory as he texted back. 'Made contact with target. Nothing else to report. Continuing mission.' Victor didn't get a text back and assumed that he had been heard. The phone suddenly turned off and switched back on. Victor wasn't aware that the phone had been wiped to preserve secrecy.

With the smell of rotting flesh seeping through the drains around the campus, more Hobgoblins began to appear through rifts around the campus, they were almost as if they were being burnt into existence. The numbers were throughout the school already, but unknown to those outside the school walls, the creatures were just appearing outside. The scent alone, was on the wind, while it was growing stronger, the number of goblins appearing were increasing as well. The students within the cafeteria began to scream as their plats began flipping into their faces and being thrown over the ground by invisible forces. It was almost like a giant food fight, but the hobgoblins began attacking the staff and students directly as the some of the students didn't see their pranks as a method of fear and just the attack of some rebel students, but now it was getting serious. The school was being overrun with hobgoblins.
As soon as the fire alarm went off, students left and right were fighting to get out of the cafeteria. They created a swarm in the halls as they rushed out of the doors knocking over tables and leaving the room with laughing hobgoblins.

Ignazio brushed through the crowd as the fire alarm continued to ring; the sound on its own was more so annoying than his alarm clock he had to hear every morning before class. ’Sixteen Sutras left, I’ll use another four to seal off this area too. From that point on it’ll just be me and these troublesome goblins’ Ignazio smirked as he reached the cafeteria door and once again he reached his right hand into his blazer on his left breast and grabbed four sheets of paper before tossing them in the air. The sheets slowly rained down before moving as if they were magnetically attracted to the walls near the door. As the sheets attached themselves to the wall around the door they glowed like the others did at the main entrance and created a small barrier. Ignazio smirked before taking a step forward with his right hand re-entering his blazer jacket. He stood there for a second before pulling out two additional sutras and prepared himself. Giving a slight whistle he caught the attention of the hobgoblins that were wrecking the whole area, flipping tables and devouring the food that was tossed on the ground and some of the uneaten food. ”I thought we could solve our problems peacefully, but it’s looking like we won’t be able to do that. Huh? Come on, lets be friends. Give up now and I can promise you I won’t send you back to Gehenna in a body bag” Ignazio joked as he held his arms out as if to accept the Hobgoblins that were swiftly making their way over to towards the tamer. His eyes scanned around the area counting the demonic auras that appeared like purple flames in his eyes.
Upon finishing counting and the horde had reached him Ignazio leaped into the air and performed a series of acrobatic spins and flips before landing on one of the few tables that had yet to be thrown out of balance. He looked at the creatures with cold eyes for a second and then over towards the kitchen and the constant appearance of rifts. ”This doesn’t seem fair now, does it? About twelve-hundred of you guys and only one of me, I do believe I should even the playing field a little bit. Don’t you agree? Because I don’t think you’re taking me serious yet.” ’I have ten sutras left in my pocket and with the two in my hand, that would be twelve. If only I had a few hundred more of these, then this really would be easy. But I guess I’ll have to make this work.’
As Ignazio stood there mocking the hobgoblins, they started to circle him in a massive storm of sorts. As the light began to dim Ignazio noticed their tactic and started laughing. ”My, my, this is going to be a challenge after all. Okay then, let’s not hold a grudge after this slaying. May your pitiful souls rest in peace.” he said as he lowered his voice slightly as he geared himself for combat.

Ignazio continued to stand on top of the table as the hobgoblins approached him. He took one of the sutras into his left hand and raised it into the sky above his head and then focused his Qi into the stored energy within the talisman, causing the words to rapidly swirl off of the page and circle Ignazio in a golden light. The Sanskrit written on the sheets of paper were like spells of sorts, each one producing a different effect, based on the user’s will and the spell inscribed on it. For the most part, Ignazio used them for anti-demon warding, but during times like this he could use the defensive powers within the talismans as an offense. Soundless words came from his soft glossed lips as the words circled him, they glowed brighter before a solar like flash came from the sheet of paper destroying the demons as they were touched by the light. Ignazio’s left hand was now free of the talisman and replaced with a small throwing knife, while his right hand still held a sutra in it. He looked over at the falling ash, and the hobgoblins that were growling and approaching him now in order to avenge their fallen friends. Ignazio shook his head slowly. ”That was your only warning. I won’t be holding back now. Prepare yourself, because you’re going back to Hell.” Ignazio growled as he looked around himself to find the approaching goblins. He wasn’t a personal fan of hobgoblins or any type of goblin, for the simple fact they looked creepy and reminded him of clowns, something that Ignazio hated more than anything. Their large witch like noses and long tongues, it was just disgusting. Ignazio shook the hair from his eyes as he swiftly turned around to count the others whom were approaching him. There numbers had increased again, he didn’t think that they would come at him in such large horde so quickly. ’That stench is getting to be unbearable, its almost like gas, but there is no doubt that it’s mold and human flesh. But this undertone smell, could be from the kitchen, we do use gas stoves and ovens for certain foods due to the method they must be prepared.’ And just as Ignazio was thinking, he had a thought on a backup plan, just in case he ran out of options, such as weapons or Qi. The kitchen could be turned into a massive explosive, but at the cost of getting in trouble for destroying the kitchen Ignazio didn’t want to use that option unless necessary.

With more Hobgoblins approaching him faster and a little more aggressive than before it caused Ignazio to go on to the defensive. He moved side to side on the table attempting to keep himself from being grabbed. They were defiantly faster than him, being able to float and all, moving side to side he had to make sure he didn’t get caught by any of their hands, that was until he tripped over his on leg, causing him to fall backwards. Ignazio’s eyes opened widely for a second before he used the fall to push his other foot off of the table and flip himself backwards. Upon landing he stumbled a little before more hobgoblins approached him. He then began to utilize the larger space and moved to the further wall running from the goblins as if he was in some sort of race. But they were on both sides of him. Sliding to a stop, Ignazio smirked and began to rush one of the sides of goblins, they moved towards him as well, and with a swift action he pulled himself backwards allowing his body to slide along the ground. The goblins ran into the others following Ignazio, causing them to be slightly disorientated before shaking it off and coming after him again. Ignazio turned and saw the coming hobgoblins and pushed himself off of the ground before running again. Although the sutra he once held was no longer in his right hand. It was laying on the ground. Reaching his right hand into his right sleeve with his middle and ring finger Ignazio pulled another throwing knife from the holster around his wrist. He turned to a full stop upon reaching the wall and looked at the goblins as the mocked him lashing their tongues around and making faces. The young tamer smirked before spinning the knives around his index fingers in both hands and took a battle stance. The blade pointed away from his body, his fingers completely laced around the grip of the blades. His eyes looked into those of the Goblins and a smile perked on to his face just as he was preparing to start another assault. ”Don’t mock the Grim Reaper boys.” he warned as he took off in a sprint towards the hobgoblins. This method of fighting was completely out of character for a Tamer or even an Aria, but Ignazio wasn’t just trained to summon demons or utilize holy verse, he was trained in a few different forms of weapon combat. Although he wasn’t a master at swordplay or anything, he could hold his own for a little while, which is why he utilize familiars whom can transform their bodies into weapon phantasms of their true self.

As Ignazio reached the demons he swirled his body raising his right leg for a kick only to be grabbed by the first hobgoblin, although with the height of the demon in the air Ignazio used this to his advantage and pulled himself upwards as the demon swung him towards the others in order to play with Ignazio as if he was some sort of jump rope. But with a swift motion, he slashed through the demons as he was propelled towards them slashing a ‘X’ through their bodies and finally ended by stabbing the small blades within his hands into the head of the hobgoblin that was holding him. Upon stabbing this demon it vanished into a flurry of black ash as the others did after they were slain. Ignazio fell to the ground with an ungraceful thud. As he was getting up he heard the giggling of approaching demons and as he looked up he saw a large amount of them racing towards him, some on the ground and others floating. Ignazio switched his grip style of the knives and pointed his right index finger towards the sutra that was on the ground causing it to activate. The sutra didn’t activate like the last one, this time the sutra went into a furry, a fiery one at that. A torrent of flames swallowed the approaching hobgoblins, just as Ignazio stood up only to grab his stomach with his right forearm and wincing in pain. ”I guess I’m not completely ready for combat yet. Damn.” he muttered as he stood up tall and watched as the flame burned the approaching goblins as if they were moths to a flame. He stood there and watched as he started to catch his breath. But not before feeling a presence sneaking up on him from behind; it caused Ignazio to turn around only to notice the Hobgoblin coming at him with a blade of its own. Ignazio moved to parry the attack but only so it grazed past his shoulder. He glared down the torn fabric and pushed both of his blades into the beast’s head simultaneously. Turning around to watch the flames dying down he watched the approaching creatures and swore under his breath slightly before looking to the right and then to the left out the corners of his eyes. The right would lead him to the kitchen, which wasn’t going to be enough room for him to fight with an advantage, while the left would lead him back towards the doors of the great hall, plenty of room to fight in that area. Ignazio decided to make a break for it, allowing the Hobgoblins to follow him towards the barrier.

Coming to yet another stop Ignazio turned to look at the demons that were approaching him. He then made his move again, going into another run. He was making his way back to the center of the cafeteria where his first kill was. Ignazio started to wince as his wound from the Bahamut started hurting again. That’s when he was struck; Ignazio went flying to the right as his body was collided with trashcan and two hobgoblins driving the trashcan. Ignazio’s body didn’t stop falling until it was slammed against the wall. Ignazio coughed up a little before his eyes opened again and both of his knives were out of striking distance as well as his own physical reach. He could see them laying on the ground, about four feet from his position. The Hobgoblins kept pushing on the trashcan while the other circled around laughing. Ignazio continued to cough as he was being squashed by the weight, he couldn’t do much in this sense. His physical strength was that of an average human if not a little bit above average, but not by much. His eyes closed and his head bowed Ignazio held his palm towards the ceiling and began chanting. “When the sun had set and darkness had fallen, a smoking firepot with a blazing torch appeared and passed between the pieces.” upon struggling to complete the incantation, a large burning glyph appeared in his hands. Fire within his eyes, and a smile on his face. ”Burn in Hell, you damn pests.” Ignazio called out to the demons as they started to approach him to attack him after his words, but it was already too late. Ignazio already had them within his range and reach for the spell. ’Whoever sent these things here, I’m going to personally kick them in the face. No one, injures Ignazio Barthomeloi and gets away with it without dying or bowing down.’ ”Bow down bitches, bow down to your King!” he yelled as the Fatal Verse completely activated.

Flames raged from Ignazio’s hands in a torrent fashion, destroying not only the demons around him but the trashcan that held him against the wall. Ignazio fell to his right knee and started to catch his breath before standing up and looking at the approaching demons. With the fatal verse still active, he utilized it’s power and stretched out both palms burning everything that came into the range of the torrent. Ignazio eyes burning with anger and frustration, he really wasn’t in the mood any longer. As he walked towards his missing throwing knives and extended a hand towards the approaching demons and like a flame thrower he released another torrent of flames. He simply didn’t care at this point. The had pissed him off beyond no return. ’I’m a little more than annoyed now. Now I want them all dead’ he thought as he bent down and grabbed his throwing knives before glancing out the corner of his right eye to the two approaching hobgoblins in a sneaking fashion but due to their snickering they were as silent as a baby in a store made up of glass. He spun around quickly and threw both knives at the same time stabbing both demons in the center of their faces causing them to explode into black ash that vaporized into nothing. Walking towards his knives he collected them again and put the away into their proper location and took in a deep breath and turned around. ”This ends now.” he grunted as he began to focus his Qi into left hand and shortly after he clapped his right hand and left hand together creating a single sphere of Qi and pulled it apart creating a second sphere duplicating in size and power before forcing both sphere of Qi together. He pointed both hands towards a group of the demons from his distance and the glyph turned into an aqua color that looked like a shield in the middle of a shield. ”But you blew with your breath, and the sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters!” he chanted proudly.
Water began to form between his hands and covered the glyph completely. Ignazio glared at the demons and changed the glyph shape to insure he would ensnare everything in the mighty torrent, rather than creating a stream of water, he was creating a wave, enough water that could potentially flood the whole cafeteria. ”Mizuchi!” he yelled out as loudly causing his voice to echo as it touched the water filled glyph before his arms. Ignazio’s eyes shimmered with energy as he prepared to fire his fatal verse. Upon releasing the water from the glyph’s protective shield it raged outwards pushing everything before Ignazio towards the ground of demons. The plats, trays, old tuna fish sandwiches, and even some of the tables and chairs couldn’t stand up to the torrent. As the demons touched the water and were smashed into the wall with the heavier objects they vanished. Ignazio stood up slowly and gathered himself as the water slowly came back to him after splashing into the wall. The hobgoblins looked enraged now as their meals were ruined by the water which covered the floor. Ignazio stood ankle deep in the water and took a step forward reaching into his blazer once again with his right hand. ”You thought I was joking? Well I was dead serious, you bumbling idiots. I’m not just sending you to Hell now, I’m going to erase you from this word and that one. So come if you want to die!” he roared

Before he had even reached the Great Hall the first thing to hit him was the putrid smell of rotting flesh. It made him sick to his stomach but having been trained for combat, he could keep his cool without showing the displeasure on his face. The fire alarm still blared in his ears and as he actually entered the Great Hall, he felt himself pass through yet another barrier. "Leave it to him to fully seal off the area. Its safe to assume that we can pass through freely, but they can not.Very impressive." Standing upright, he could feel Celebron adjust himself on his shoulder as the small demon prepared himself for combat. Since Ignazio had arrived before him, plenty of the hobgoblins were merely focused on his classmate and nothing more. Flashes of light appeared one the side of the Great Hall that he could only assume held Ignazio's fight with the Hobgoblins. "Finally! Let's go! I've been itching to fight something!" With little to no hesitation whatsoever, Celebron lept down from Lloyd's shoulder before looking up at his master with a wicked grin. Since his familiar was ready for battle, he would give the signal for them to start. "There's a lot of them, and a little of us. It seems a little unfair, don't you think?" questioned Celebron as Lloyd crouched slightly while putting his hand along the hilt of Durandal. "Yes, completely unfair. For them." With a laug, the two ran forwards at the horde of hobgoblins.
Since there would be no help in having Ignazio overwhelmed, Lloyd would make a larger target. He had watched Celebron weave through the Hobgoblins to an open area within the Great Hall, and as such would turn the Hobgoblins in that general direction. Lowering himself again, he jumped directly onto the head of a nearby Hobgoblin, and within moments, Lloyd was running along their heads in Celebron's direction. Bounding off of the last Hobgoblin, Lloyd flipped various times before landing softly besides Celebron, who was now hissing at the approaching Hobgoblins. Standing upright, he looked towards the crowd he had gathered before smiling. Pointing his blade at the closet Hobgoblin, he let out a small laugh before issuing a warning. "My name is Lloyd Yggdmillenia, and if you value your lives, you will leave this place by whatever means necessary. If not, please, meet my blade head on. I will make the end very painless for you." Even with his warning, they slowly began to move forwards at him. Some of them seemed wary of his blade, and others cared not. If they though numbers alone would help them defeat him, then they would be in for a very rude awakening. Numbers mattered not in a battle. What mattered, was the fighting skill and other assortment of skills a person had at their disposable. "A subtle warning...I don't think I like it..You should have just said you were going to strike them all down with extreme prejudice."
"Just focus Celebron. Depending on how things proceed, we may work our way over to Ignazio's location."
