Kael had heard movement and when he turned off the shower he heard Eve's voice and sighed. He dried himself off and wrapped a towel around himself trying to be modest but knowing he still needed to take care of eve, once in his bedroom he saw her staring away from him and he chuxkled saying "no worries Eve i don't bite" he said walking over to her and feeling her forehead with his hand. Her body overall had recovered but she was still weak from the exertion and her muscles were still shot from it as well, he pit his arm around her waist and helped her up and when she protested he said "i am only going to bring you to the bathroom, my shower is diluted with a special mixture so i can clean myself but it had the added effect of relaxing the muscles and reapiring the nerve damage you did to your body" he said as he brought her into the shower and once there he let her walk on her own. Kael turned around and in a drawer in his sink and pulled out what loked like a bar of soap, "this has a special plant in it that should revitalize you so you can at least walk on your own but i would suggest against attacking people or using your powers as it wont completly heal you" he said bowing his head and walking out. He called one of his guards and said "go fetch elvira, tell her she can come see her friend and to bring some of ny sisters clothes for her" he said as he saw the guard run off. Kael walked into his closet and began to change himself until a box fell on the geound and he looked at it, he sighed and picked it up opening it to show a beautiful ruby braclet with the inscrption on it "may my love for you always burn brighter than your scarlet eyes" with a note reading "Elvira". Kael closed the box and walked out to the bedroom and put on some new pants and began to make the bed which Eve had so spectacularly messed up.

"Nice pun. And thank you."

She didn't struggle against him helping her. Eve knew that she needed it. Stumbling without his help she barely made it to tub without falling head first into it. There was an odd sense of familiarity here. Despite the fact that she still wished to rip his throat out. Sitting on the edge of the tub until he was gone to change she less than gracefully slipped into the tub with the soap popping out of her hand and sliding across the floor. She glared at it a bit knowing she wouldn't be able to get it herself. Hearing that Elvira was going to be coming she sighed with relief. Then the memory of hearing Kael speak came to mind. She had to know if that was a dream or not.

"Kael. I know I was gone for a long time and missed more than I'm sure you care to explain. But you don't have to be alone forever. Even with what you did Elvira still loves you. Truly. You should know that. And, that I am sorry. I didn't mean to lose myself as I did. But why did you look as if you were just going to let me kill you? I can't get that image out of my head. You looked so.... accepting."

She began running water over herself in the tub as she looked over her arms and legs nonchalantly. The sheet was wadded up next to the bath. Her senses weren't top of their game at the moment. She kept feeling the water. There wasn't any feeling of temperature to it so she had no idea if it was hot or cold or whatever.

Elvira did not reach the girl in time, Eve had slammed the poor girl into the wall. "Eve!" she yelled, she reached the girl to help her up. She was in a lot of pain. "My dear, I am so sorry you had to witness this..." she said to the girl. There was water on the table not far from them. Elvira raised her hand up to the water pitcher, as her and moved the pitcher moved. It landed gently in her hands "Here, drink." she offered the pitcher to the girl. "Quiet, all of you bumbling idiots." Elvira looked up at the familiar voice, Kael.

"Elvira, you are to go to your room under guard and await my summons with your..escort, that is an order." Elvira rolled her eyes, she didn't need protection from any of these people. The only person remotely close to hurting her was Kael. Physically and emotionally. "I will deal with this fool, myself." She watched as Kael walked over to Eve and picked her up. Quickly, Elvira stood in front of Kael and glared. "You're not taking her anywhere." she snarled. All Kael did was sigh and said. "d up Eve and said "I will deal with this fool myself" he said as he began to walk away with her until he saw Elvira standing in front of him with a glare he knew all to well. Kael sighed heavily saying "You have two options Elvira, you can either let me go so i can treat this moron of a vampyre who attacked the Lord of Nai-Rah not once but twice and save her life or you can try to keep me from taking her and let her die, at which point you must answer to your brother as to why the love of his life died within my borders and i am sure the last thing you want is your brothers going off and starting a war with me and my people" Elvira stepped aside, still glaring at Kael. "Emotion Vampyre?! You sorry b*****d!" she started after him when two soldiers stopped in front of her. "Seriously? He needs little boys to guard him." She was so fed up with being treated as if she were a train wreck. With anger, she looked to Saraphina. "Come, we are to be escorted to my old quarters and I'm fine, thank you."

After the mess was cleaned up, Elvira and Saraphina were escorted to her old living quarters. When they got there a guard tried to enter her room. "I don't think so, big boy. You can stay out here. I have Saraphina to keep me company." Her eyes were red, to show she wasn't didn't want him there." The guard raised his hand and back away to the other side of the hallway. "Much better," she huffed and let Saraphina into the room. "Well, this went way worse than expected... Kinda..." she said. "I am sorry you had to witness that, Saraphina. The estrange woman was my friend Eve, Gabriel's love. She found me last night as I was leaving the meeting we all had in Gabriel's study. We went to my room and spoke for quite a while. Gabriel does not know she is here, so please, don't tell him. Eve has her own plans with meeting up with Gabriel again. She's been through a lot, since she left home..." Elvira sighed. She felt bad for Eve, she had been through so much. War... heart break... Poor woman..

Saraphina followed Elvira out of Kael's office after he order them to Elvira's old bedroom at Nai-rah Palace. They were being escorted by the palace guards which made her feel like a child. Sarah was use to being the one doing the escorting and not being the escorted. As they walked in silence she wondered about that girl Tiggs and if she be alright. The poor child looked dramatized from whatever was displayed in Kael's office before Kaitlyn and Saraphina could intervene. But, that woman... Eve...

When they came to Elvira's old room Saraphina shook her head as one of the guards was about to invite himself into Elvira's room. "Wrong move," she thought. Sarah then took a step forward and eyed the two men in her own threatening glare. "Never invite yourself into a lady's room without permission," she tsk the boys. Obviously they still needed training on how to do their job. "Don't worry boys I'll take good care of Lady Elvira," she mocked them before closing the door behind her while Elvira spoke. Saraphina was hoping for an explanation for what happened in the other room but Elvira spoke about the other woman instead. Eve.

When the words "...Gabriel's love," was spoke it felt as if someone struck a needle into Saraphina's heart. As if she had to state that but whatever, Saraphina listened on. While Elvira spoke Saraphina kept herself busy by pouring a pitcher of luke warm lavender scented water into a bowl, took a wash clothe and dipped it into the water. She didn't know why she was doing this but she was told to look after Elvira. Gabriel trusted her with an important piece to his heart, his sister. But, for his preciouses sister as some would put it to keep Gabriel waiting about the arrival of Eve seemed cruel but Sarah had no problems with keep secrets. She has to hide her own away from Gabriel. If Sarah were any other woman then she would have use this piece of information to her advantage but, that would also be cruel.

Sarah then handed Elvira the wash clothe, "Here, you look like a mess." She added a slight playful smirk. "As for the secret you ask of me to keep I shall not say a word to your brother about his returned lover for it is not mine to tell," she said. She just didn't understand why keep it a secret. Surely Gabriel would throw his arms around Eve at first sight by the way he cried when he had received the letter.

Kael heard Eve's questions and said "Even if it was true Eve what i did to her cannot be forgiven, i committed the gravest act a vapmpyre can and nearly killed her in the process" he said finishing making the bed and standing up. "as for the look i gave you, think nothing of it, you were probably imagining things but i will say that in this world we all have a time to die, perhaps mine will come sooner for my past transgressions" he said going to his medicine cabinent and pulling out a few things for eve to take after she is walking, he whispered "although this world will be better off without me" he said as he heard a knock at the door knowing exactly who it was. he opened it and sure enough there was Elvira giving him that look again. Kael stepped aside and said "she is in the bath recovering you may go see her, and make sure she takes those medicines for a week until she fully recovers" he said pointing to the bottle on the counter as he walked out shutting the door behind him forgetting to is the box with the necklace and note before Elvira came back.

Elvira sat down on the bed, her mind swirled with mixed emotions; fear, loss, anger, longing. She was so confused, she was terrified though. What happened between her and Kael was something she couldn't believe he would try to do. He tried to forcibly imprint with her. Make her sired to him. Elvira would be trapped, no where to run if she was sired to Kael. She would have to listen to him, no matter what. She physically shivered at the thought. That was when Saraphina said "Here, you look like a mess." Elvira took the clothe from her and gave an small smile. "As for the secret you ask of me to keep, I shall not sat a word to your brother about his returned lover for it is not mine to tell." She smiled at Saraphina once again, "Thank you." She wiped her face up, she looked like a mess for sure. She was pinned to a wall and nearly was sired. There was something pulling her to tell Sara what had happened in her absence, but that was when a guard knocked on the door and cracked it enough to poke his head through. "Lady Elvira, Kael has requested your presence." Her brows furrowed at the sound of his name "Fantastic," she said sarcastically. "I'll be there shortly." To that, the guard retreated and his head disappeared.

Elvira looked to Saraphina and sighed. "Oh goody, the Lord wishes to see me.... I would like you to come and stand outside of the room. If you hear anything that sounds like trouble I want you to come in." She stood up in front of her Kiran and grabbed her forearm in respect. "Thank you for accompanying me to Nai-rah and I do apologize for the scene you had witnessed. Come, we must be on our way." Elvira dropped Sara's arm and made her way out the quarters. As they walked down the corridors of the castle, Elvira was silent. Her mind kept rewinding over and over to where Kael had her pinned and Eve crashing through the window. It was all starting to blur. She began o feel panicked, but before she knew they were in front of Kael's door. The door opened, Kael stood there, in the door way. She looked away from him. "She is in the bath recovering, you may go see her, and make sure she takes those medicines for a week until she fully recovers" All she did was nod and he made his way passed her. As Elvira stepped in he shut the door behind her. Leaving Saraphina outside, guarding.

She could hear the water running in the bathing room, she looked around Kael's room. It was just as she remembered, it wasn't all gussied-up like a King, but it was simple. It was Kael. She walked towards the bed and sat at the end of it and sighed. "What have we got ourselves into Kael?" she whispered softly as she ran her hand across the throw blanket that was placed at the end of the bed. She closed her eyes and began to think about the time her and Kael spent together. The walls were nearly bare, there was a small portrait on the far side of the room, only seen if you actually looked and stared at the side of the room. She got up and walked over to the small picture. She caught her breathe, it was a portrait of her and Kael. Her eyes began to water, she quickly turned away and took a deep breath. Why does he still have this? she asked herself. She kind of understood, she still had her portrait of them, but in her chest at the end of her bed. It wasn't visible for anyone to see. That was when a little glimmer of metal caught her eye. There was a box on the floor of his closet, she listened into the bathroom to make sure Eve was still showering, then made her way over to the closet. Opening the doors, she looked down to see a box with a ruby bracelet inside, with an inscription that read “Elvira” followed with a piece of paper with her name on it as well. She picked everything up and walked back to the bed, placing everything down to read the note.

It read:
“May my love for you always burn brighter than your scarlet eyes"

She stood there and just looked at the note and the bracelet. This was for me? She asked herself. “Oh Kael…” she whispered. With a sad sigh, she put the bracelet back in it’s box and placed it back in his closet with the note. She got herself together and walked into the bathroom where Eve was.
“How are you doing?” she asked Eve, hoping she was better and not on a rampage still.

Saraphina smiled when Elvira had thank her as she cleaned her hands. That was nice. Then when a guard stepped in Saraphina quickly turned to stare upon the man as he shared with Elivra about Kael requesting her presence. She crossed her arms matching Elivra's attitude. When he was done Saraphina close the door behind him and quickly. She looked to Elvira as she said, "Oh goody, the Lord wishes to see me.... I would like you to come and stand outside of the room. If you hear anything that sounds like trouble I want you to come in." Sara had smiled slyly and replied, "With pleasure." Then just as she turned to open the door for Elvira did the woman grab her forearm and said, "Thank you for accompanying me to Nai-rah and I do apologize for the scene you had witnessed. Come, we must be on our way."

"Do not apologize m'lady. I'm sure it wasn't you who started the chaos," she told Elvira out of her own respect. Even though from her experience Elvira was one to start trouble. For some reason Lady Elvira was being nice to her but why? Saraphina followed Elvira out of the room and away to Kael's quarters. Saraphina made sure to walk behind Elvira to better watch her back and taking notice Elvira's nervousness. Than they arrived at Kael's room.

Saraphina watched Kael carefully walk past them and away from his quarters to wherever else. She did not care as long he wasn't a threat. She stayed outside of the room while Elvira was inside with Eve and thought about particular things.

"I dropped the soap..."

Eve was fairly relaxed in the tub. She turned her head to look at Elvira with a smile. Her eyes still had a tinge of red on the rim of them but had otherwise returned to normal. She still could feel the temperature of the water and had no clue as to it's warmth or chill. Inside she was shaken as her memories were not 100% She could only imagine the mess she had made. How was she going to control this.... monster within her. So much was whirling through her head it was hard to focus. As her friend came close the scent of someone else hit Eve's nose. Cocking an eyebrow at the woman as her nose twitched she gave an odd look and a presumptuous tone.

"I thought you didn't care for the lass?"

Rolling her eyes with a giggle Eve stretched in the tub completely at ease with Elvira near her. Whatever Kael used in his water was doing wonders for her recovery. While she wouldn't try striding across the hall as of yet she was feeling better and better. But it was on to more serious matters. As her friend settled down Eve's eyes were waiting to meet with hers. As she asked her first question the red rim flexed as if it wanted to spread through her eye then receded to the edges again.

"How badly did he hurt you? Is there a mark? I dont think I can even calm Gabe if he left any. Elie.... what is going on here? Seriously though. You still love him. Even with what he did, he still loves you from what I gathered. Both your emotions are so high and tight around each other it's like drinking bad wine. Without trying to kill one another, or me killing trying to kill him, talk this crap out. If all it took was some hashing out with your brother to be with him.... you know I wouldn't let that stop me. So why is it you?"

Eve had no idea what Kael had done as she barged in through the window after that little tidbit had been shared. But she still couldn't get Kaels face out of her head. She knew something was up. He was not the type to give up so easily. This girl talk was something for the record books.

"I thought you didn't care about the lass?" Eve said with a giggle. Elvira sighed and made her way over to the counter to pull herself on. Sitting there, she looked at Eve. Her eyes filled with mixed emotions on the subject. "It's a long story. She's been of some help, lately."
She saw Eve's eyes flex with red, the subject was just as sensitive to her as it was for Elvira.

If all it took was some hashing out with your brother to be with him.... you know I wouldn't let that stop me. So why is it you?"

Elvira simply chuckled. "It is much more than what had happened today in there." She let out an uneven sigh. "About 200 years after you disappeared I had found someone. Solomon. He was one of our Generals. Well, things were going okay. I wasn't sure of my feelings though. But Kael came in the picture. One thing led to another, Kael and I spent many nights, even days together while Solomon was away. Which was my fault, I should not have condoned it.... Anyway, I began to fall for Kael. He was everything I needed and wanted, and everything that was missing between Solomon and I.... Well, I was suppose to meet Kael one evening, but before then I was going to end my relationship with Solomon, whom surprised me with a lovely dinner and such. Well, he was showing me things he's never shown before. A different affection, well one thing led to another and I slept with Solomon. The next morning, I found out I was imprinted with Solomon. I had no idea. I never knew too much of it to begin with... Well, I was devastated, I was going to leave Solomon but ended up sleeping with him. It was stupid of me... I ran to Kael, crying, upset about it all. I apologized over and over, but it wasn't enough. He was furious and heartbroken.... I blame him, but I don't. He came into my relationship, but I didn't end it. So it is me to blame as well. " Elvira couldn't sit still anymore. The story was making her anxious, angry, and sad all together. She slid off the counter and began to pace. "Well, from there Kael and I didn't speak or see each other.... About a few months later, we sent warriors out to handle the Lyemarians in the city. Solomon being one of them. Since, I was imprinted with him, I felt the pain. I could feel the bond dying. It nearly killed me, Eve. I was on my death bed...I spent many days in agonizing pain, I wanted Gabriel and Elijah to kill me right then and there.... Obviously, refusing. Finally, the pain ended one day. Don't know how or why. But somehow I survived. But we believed the Lyemarians had killed him." This next part made her feel sick and she stopped pacing. "I found out today, right before Kael came after me, that he was the one to kill Solomon.... Kael found him before he left, and was having a drink with him to celebrate the imprint.... or so Solomon thought they were doing. Kael had spiked Solomon's drink with silver and then when Solomon went to defend himself, that was when Kael pierced him with his blade....Kaitlyn knew of this and mentioned it in front of me when Kael was being rude. She got furious with him and I've never seen Kaitlyn angry like that. But after she and Saraphina left. Kael and I got into a verbal fight. At least that's how it started. He got so angry that he pinned me against the way and threatened to take me for himself. He wanted to forcibly imprint with me. That would have made me sired to him.... That is a fate worse than death.... Being sired to someone... "

Elvira went silent, tears were rolling down her cheeks. She reached up and felt her face and quickly wiped the tears away. "I was terrified, Eve. I truly was, in my mind I called out for you.... Clearly you heard me." Which made Elvira smile. She was glad that her dear friend came to her rescue. For the first time ever, Elvira could not defend herself.....

With Duke snuggled against her on the couch, Rosette felt her eyes began to droop. The book was wonderful, but it had just been a long day for her. Despite what the rumours were, even vampires had to sleep. A final wave of comfort took over her body, as she drifted off into the dream world.

Hair like fire. Eyes that could pierce her mind like a dagger. She expected the voice to be harsh on her ears, grating, and terrifying. Instead it sounded like a melody, softly singing its way through her mind. Pulling her away from herself. It was easy to forget the danger that lurked behind such sweet beauty. The woman stood before them for a reason. While Rosette was only a pawn in her games, she knew that the people she was entrusted to protect were in danger.

Flames swirled again, the room was covered in white. At first she thought it was ash from the woman's burning hair, but it was not. Soft fabrics, floating lights, and white rose petals littered the floor. The woman's hair was growing, and everyone was becoming entangled in its destructive beauty. Its grip burned her skin. Rosette was helpless to watch as they wrapped themselves around her throat...

Duke was pulling on her arm, his teeth barely making a dent. Gently he was pulling her away. Rosette looked over, realizing that she had no idea where in the castle she was. She must have been wandering during her vision. Several courtiers stood a ways away whispering, and pointing. Rosette had broken out into a sweat, she was shaking in the same terror that had gripped her during her vision. She reached a hand out to Duke, steadying herself against his confidant frame. The vision had been clear, it had been terrifying. If anyone knew there would be a panic.

As her friend spoke, Eve sat playing with the water. When she began to speak of what Kael had done to Solomon she froze. Her mouth, nose, and ears twitched as she tried to control her emotions. Pure rage surge through her body once more. Kael had broken the treaty with Triali by murdering one of it's citizens. Ulrik would have very well killed him for his actions if he had known of it. But as she continued to speak Eve could feel her friends emotions mingle with her own. There was so much sadness within Elvira. With water splashing everywhere Eve pushed herself up unexpectedly, nearly falling in the process, almost knocking them both down, and hugged her friend close getting her all wet. Even with her protests she didn't let go. This compassion was a side not many were privy to.

"Elvira. I promised you that I would always have your back. I always will. I'm so sorry I wasn't here to help you before. And as much as I want to rip his throat out for what he has done... Kael is still in your heart. Go to him. Now! Leave the lass with me. I still dont have the best grip on moving about yet. I could use her help to finish washing and getting dressed. If she has it within her heart to do so."

Eve chuckled at the end of what she said about Sara. She knew quite well the girl wouldn't want to help her if she had the feelings for Gabriel that was suspected. But Elvira needed to go. Even if it was against her better judgement to let her friend anywhere near the man who had just tried siring her to him. She could always go berserk again if needed be she supposed.

"Just call if you need me."

Tapping Elvira's head with a chuckle and smile, she urged the woman to go and resolve this mess.
