Doko Lotrius I\/\/I

User Image

The moment passed in a sudden flash, as if a lake of still water was suddenly struck by a stone, the surface set entirely into motion. As the Tyrant king felt the scratchy dusty foot of the infuriating thief land flatly upon his face, thrusting him off of his feet to fall upon the red carpet of his throne room, furry filled his form to the brim. This feeling of rage which overflowed from the king of Dokoro, which had always emerged in such a manner, seemed to rise even further as he watched his own banner tear away from the ceiling above. Dust fell from the tops of the arches which upheld the ceiling of his castle, falling upon the king as he propped himself up with a single arm.

Doko's face was took upon it'self a violet hue, as he roared with overwhelming anger.

"Kill that knoxing outlaw!" Lotrius ordered, his anger filling his language with the curse words of lowlifes from Thieves Haven, or perhaps Smuggler's Den. From where the assassin knelt, Rokan thrust himself into the air, making a backwards rotation onto his feet before he ground his heels into the floor, turning upon them swiftly to take chase. As he nearly made way to the door however, Mordin held out his arm to halt the dokolite's progress.

"Rokan, we all know what you would do should you catch the thief." Mordin began, chuckling at the thought. "I don't think our Grand King desires the thief to be brought back with their guts already spilt." Nodding, though his brow still furrowed with anger, Rokan agreed silently. In his place, Mordin first shimmered, then was removed from the castle's throne room with a sudden flash. As the room cleared of the blinding light, all who knew of the Dread Knight's ability could tell that the caster was standing before the front gate as they pondered the manner to which he had been able to move so quickly.

Kat smirked as she heard the Tyrant King's fury. She just didn't expect him to say "Kill". Kat picked up her speed dashing out of the building, and toward the front gates in which she had came. Running at her maximum speed, Kat was still looking behind her, only to notice at the last second that there was someone in front of her, that blocked her path. She dug her claws into the ground in front of her, making a sliding stop as she stared at the Dread Knight before her. Kat was panting heavily. She glared at the man before her, as she thought of a way to possibly escape. Kat looked all around, but everything came back to the man standing before her. The thief puffed, as the banner in her mouth blew from her breath. She tied the banner around her neck and braced herself for anything to happen. "You know, I don't really see myself as a...knoxing outlaw.." Kat said, mocking the words of the Tyrant King. "I rather would like to be called a desperate thief." The demon's taill puffed up as she kept a close eye on this man.

“Orders from my king are law.” Mordin chuckled through the thin opening of the iron helm. “It will be much less painful if you cooperate.” The caster stated blankly, flames beginning to roll up his arms as he spoke. “Far…far less painful.” He laughed once more, though this time showing less restraint than before. As the flames surged upwards to his shoulder, the Dread Knight swung his arm in a wide arch, flames following along it’s path yet appearing to create a form within it’s remnants. Among the embers and scorching air, a falcon appeared, flying towards the bold thief with the intent to do harm. In truth the flames of the bird were no more dreadful than that of a fire burst from the average dengen caster, but with the form of the falcon, Mordin could guide the winged flames where ever she may desire to run.

“Be happy I have not allowed you to meet with Rokan.” The armored master continued to laugh

The Striped Demon

"You and your breezy king can kiss my furry littl-" Kat didn't have the time to finish her sentence, before she found a falcon of fire diving in her direction. The demon turned tail and jumped backwards, however due to the length of her tail, the end of it was charred. Kat sprang on two feet and held her tail, mewing like a housecat. "Knox..." She mewed, licking the singed park of her tail, and glaring at the armored man. Her claws wouldn't do much against that armor of his, so attacking directly was certainly out of the question. She thought quickly. This was an earth landscape...so she'd dig! She'd probably ruin the banner in a way, but living was much better than having some stupid banner. Kat's sharp claws shot out from her hands, and the demon began tearing into the earth with utmost force. She didn't need a very large tunnel, just enough to get past this guy. Kat dug quickly, and made her way to where she felt the man standing above her. She smirked, pushing away dirt from under him, hoping that he would fall in the earth due to his weight, plus the weight of his armor. She didn't stop to see if that really happened or not, she just continued to dig herself a tunnel.

As the fire falcon did no more than singe the thief's tale, Mordin was preparing one of his more direct techniques for the destruction of the vile creature.

"Call my king breezy?" The Dread grunted, sending a force wave her way. Unfortunately the basic blast missed it's target by far. A technique that was often utilized in order to attack in all directions upwards forwards and to each side, the one direction it could not travel was down....and down the thief had gone.

"What?!" Mordin roared, not only surprised at the speed to which this prey could dig, but aggravated for he'd fallen nearly entire armies alone yet could not seem to catch a rather hasty banner snatcher. "Where is that knox-" He managed to utter before the stone fell beneath him to a tunnel bellow.

The Dread was caught off guard, and underestimating his clever foe, for as he was his arms were stuck in an upwards position and his chin lay upon the pavement where he had finally halted his decent into the dirt. "Knoxing!" the caster reverted to his less disciplined self once more. "Fine then, I'll stab you like the Venge." He proclaimed, slamming his fist into the dirt beside him.

Beyond the sight of the naked eye, the caster's hand had turned to roots, which grew continuously to follow the channel that was being created, following after his target. Hopefully for the knight, the roots could reach her, and pierce her form before she managed to reach the wall.

Kat chuckled as he heard the Dread grunt as he fell under the earth. "I'm causing quite a bit of trouble today.." She thought as she stopped for a moment to poke her head out of the dirt a take a look at where she was. Her sixth sense then caused her to immediately jump out of the dirt, as she felt something coming, and she was nearly impaled by the root that she could not see, but felt. She found herself to be quite sad, since she could only make demonic illusions and use her claws, but hey, she'd stolen from kings before, she figured she could do it again. Kat stood on two feet and concentrated. The demon's eyes turned a golden color, as she activated her small illusion on the Dread. The illusion of imaginary black trolls appeared, in total about 6 of them. She wouldn't quite called herself a Dengen user, as her illusions posed no real threat. The thief panted, and then began running the rest of the way toward the gates. She happened to notice a pheasant walking, and the demon quickly snatched the coin purse from the person's hands, along with the loaf of bred they'd just bought. Kat continued to run as she swallowed the bread whole and put the coin purse inside her shirt. She was quite close to the gate now, "Hey...I'll have a bounty on my head if I survive this.." Kat thought she was sprinting toward the front gates.

“My lord.” The assassin spoke finally, turning to face his overly red faced king. “I must return to Aroch in order to oversee the plan’s success.” The statement was bold to make, since the Tyrant had been awaiting his pet’s arrival for so long, as well as the most recent infuriation that had befallen the King of Dokoro, but what the Dread spoke of was true. Within Aroch one of the Cerberus Pack would have to impersonate the Iron King’s advisor, all the while convincing the brutish man that Tenzonokit was a city filled with far too many inferior races, allowing him to realize that the city had a great distaste for violence, and that they had offended their war god who was held so highly among the people of the Iron Kingdom. Leaving behind one of his own commanding officers was far too risky for the assassin’s taste, and he himself would need to convince Arkadius of these war crafting thoughts. Though his commanders were more than capable of impersonating Drenzo, the Iron King’s personal advisor, they were not as well with words as himself, and could not use the Persuade technique as affectively as he. With shadow reaching over his features, his dark intent showing upon his face, Rokan stood by for his King’s orders.

“Knoxing, thief…I’ll have her head.” He grunted, picking himself up onto his feet with the assistance of two of his knights. “Go then, Aroch is to be at war with Tenzonokit from the moment that I take hold of Garnoff.” Doko commanded, “This land shall be removed of it’s improper kings…only Dokoro will stand as the kingdom of the world….I leave for Garnoff tonight.” Scratching at his thin beard before turning about, the Tyrant made his way back towards the throne in a slow yet purposeful manner. Regardless of loosing his temper just moments ago, the king showed self control to his men. He radiated leadership as his red cloak fluttered with each step, and yet still embedded a since of fear into the deepest parts of their hearts. A tyrant of tyrants.

Mordin the Dread

As his power had ceased, the dengen technique reaching it's limit of distance, Mordin tore his arm from the rocky earth, stones caving into the tunnel bellow as he did so. Leaving behind the roots to rot away through the court yard and much of the city itself, the Dread then proceeded to leap from the hole which he sat within to stand upon the stones of the road to the castle.

"Certainly that much should have struck the intruder." Mordin cackled, for none had escaped his Roots of Atlas technique to this day. I shall inform the king that he need not worry any longer about the foolish peasant." Speaking to himself as his voice echoed within the iron helm, the caster turned on his heels to return to the castle at once. Grand King Doko will certainly be pleased....perhaps he'll allow me to Savage Run the newest Knights. The cruel Knight thought to himself, his thoughts reflecting upon a training exercise which took hold of four days through dangerous obstacles in order to complete. It was Mordin's favorite to drive the Black Diamond Knights through it, not to ensure that they would be capable when battle emerged to call them to action...but rather so that he could laugh endlessly when one was struck by a flaming projectile.

The Striped Demon

Kat made a mad dash out of the front gates of Dokoro, and only slowed to see that her pursuer had given up the chase. She was safe, for now at least. She figured Doko would want to finish what he started. She had a pretty fair day. A royal banner, some food and a couple of bits. Not the best, but certainly not the worst. Kat sprinted toward the direction of the Thieves Haven, leaving the city of Dokoro behind her.

Mara had arrived at the iron gates of Dokoro, her white hood had been pulled up casting a shadow on the upper half of her face. Unfortunately for her she had drawn a lot of attention to herself, even with her identity hidden. But she was used to the attention by now and didn't really mind. Stopping in her tracks, she pulled down her hood, revealing herself. Her lava like hair hung gracefully down to her shoulders. Unnatural yet beautiful neon blue eyes with black where the white should be. And so there stood, in the middle of the road, a young lady with an unnatural beauty. No one could pinpoint what was so different about her despite her strange eyes, but they liked it. As she walked she felt the adoring eyes on her. It sickened her to the core that every single one of them were filled with desire with just one glance. And with that her expression tensed, her eyes had gone bitter.

Continuing on her way she notice she was getting hungry. Though half her blood coursed with a demons blood she still took on her human fathers taste in food. Looking around she saw a merchants stall that was selling fruits of all varieties. And so, her act began. Relaxing her body, her eyes swelled with a false desire for the merchant as she moved close to the male.
"I don't have much coin in my purse... and I'm oh so hungry." She held her stomach and stared longingly at the various fruits. The merchant had shown an almost toothless grin as he growled with desire. "Well, we can't let a beautiful young thing starve then can we? I'm sure I can give you a discount, I still have to make a living don't I?" He chuckled. Mara giggled and gave the man 3 silver coins. "I wish I could pay more to such a handsome gentleman, but this is all I may spare.." She purred. Agreeing happily the man took the 3 silver and gave her 5 fruits in turn. Taking the fruit, she winked at the merchant.

Turning away from him, her expression grew cold and bitter once more. What a pitiful man. She had walked to a distant bench with a full view of the castle. There, she sat and ate, her eyes ventured around the area she was in, and took long looks at the castle. She knows of the tyrant that dwells inside its walls, but she had to admit... the castle had an eerie beauty to it.

Dario entered Dokoro keeping his hood and face cover up. He knew he'd bee in deep snow if anyone found out who he was or rather what he was. This place wasn't ideal but it was the closet to where the man he'd just murdered to gain his freedom lived. He'd by supplies and then be on his way. Hopefully without drawing attention to himself.

As Maras eyes had been venturing around her surroundings, they landed on a hooded figure who had just entered the city. "Hmm... now what could that person be hiding..?" She asked herself quietly. She drew her own hood up, unaware if this was one of her many enemies she had left behind in her past... deeds. And so she just watched under her hood. Unfortunately for her the only thing that would ever give away her identity would her glow in the dark neon blue eyes. Even then however they glowed dimly under the shadow of the hood. And to her disgust, the people of the city were still staring at her! Of all the times she decides to lay low the townsfolk just have too look at her. Whispers lingered throughout the townsfolk. 'Whats a beautiful girl like that doing in Dokoro?' And. "Maybe she's some new race that came from a race FULL of beautiful women in the new world!' And through some of the more.... slobish men. 'Heh... I think we should get this girl alone before she leaves the city....' But, through all the whispers she simply ate her fruit, head down as she leaned back onto the wall the bench rested against.

Dario tried not to stare at the girl he knew how much he haated being stared at, but he couldn't help it she was truly captivating. The whispers of the towns people caught his hear particularly the ones from the men watching her. He walks over and stands in front of them.
"If you value your lives stay away from her."

Mara lifted her gaze to the hooded man as he had seemed to become quite threatening to the other men. She smirked. Another fool to defend her beauty. No surprise there really. And with a small chuckle she bit into an apple she had gotten from the merchant before. And with that a child ran up to her. "H-hello... u-um.. I just wanted to say that you're a really pretty lady, are you some sort of elf from the new world..?" The child had stuttered sweetly. Mara couldn't help but smile, this child that stood before her revealed his naive mind hinting at the purity of his soul. "No child, I am human like you." And with that she reached up and pulled back her white hood, to reveal hair the color of lava, her strange eyes, pale skin. Her face was slender. She lightly brushed her hand along the child's plump baby like cheeks. "But thank you for the compliment, you will grow up to be a fine young man." She wasn't exactly telling a lie when she said she was human, it was true. But there was more to her than that. The child blushed heavily bowing his head and ran off to join his friends. Her smile faded again as she pulled her hood up once again.
