 In that instance Nikolai allowed himself some pride. " You flatter me, darling," he chuckled in English. " But let's stay this language, hmm? I don't want to fry my brain by switching so many languages." His phone vibrated again, and again he ignored it.

Leon Court "Don't give yourself so little credit," replied the man, smiling as his fingers inched forward and lightly rubbed Nikolai's wrist. "I'm not going to lie, though. I really do enjoy hearing you speak in Russian. It sounds more natural with you than English. It flows differently. English with you is much more...chopped."

Nikolai glanced upward at the ceiling to give it thought. " Oh, I just can't say no to you, darling." he replied in Russian. Leon was right, it was much easier for him to talk normally. His words came out more fluently, but it lost a little of his feminine pitch and his lazy slur. " But what did you mean by chopped?" he asked and tilted his head cutely, flickering his gaze to his wrist for a second.

Leon Court"You stop every other word and evaluate how to speak, and each word sounds somewhat clipped and shortened," he answered in Russian, his hand dropping to his lap. "Your words are still somehow suggestive, and you are still very seductive with your accent, but I must say, I like speaking like this with you more." Leon rose his hands to his shirt, adjusting it so that it fit him normally again, then sat back and sighed. "I've always found English to be boring. It's not as romantic or as meaningful as other languages."

" I hardly find anything about Russia romantic!" laughed the Sin as he placed a hand over Leon's playfully. " But I see what you're saying. Although I must admit, I never knew you knew Russian, dearie."

Leon Court"As a Neutralisa, I speak the language of my company," explained Leon, turning his hand and taking Nikolai's in it. "I can speak any language thrown at me. A great party trick, but boring after a while." Toying with the man's fingers, Leon smiled distantly. "Nothing interesting happens when you're a Neutralisa. I used to talk to the Shinigami and ask them to teach me how to rise up and join their ranks, but I just couldn't learn. I couldn't be a killer, a Death God. So, I remain a Neutralisa, lone in my work, and silent when I need to be."

Nikolai stared at their fingers as he gave it thought. He never quite liked the Shinigami, either. They were very proud of their title and used it to gain... well, 'admirers'. That was probably all he disliked about them, really, the personality. They helped harvest all the souls Hell needed. " Have you considered becoming a guardian angel, dearie?" he mused. Leon seemed good enough, he had the kindness to protect someone he... cared..... for....... Nikolai's lime green eyes shined for a second. " Or perhaps... a bodyguard?" he asked with a hinting tone and a small grin on his face.

Leon CourtLeon chuckled a bit, pulling Nikolai's hand up to his lips and kissing the backs of his fingers lightly. "Thank you, but I already know what I want to be when I grow up. I like being a teacher, Nikolai. I enjoy being human, for the most part. A guardian angel would have to leave all this behind, and a bodyguard...where would I find time to teach?"

" You actually like this job, dearie?" Nikolai asked as he wrinkled his nose in distaste. " I can't say I share your feelings, but I am a very lazy man." he smirked before resuming with his idea. " Now... Say you were my bodyguard..." he started off slowly. " I mean, think of it, dearie! We both work here so you could still teach, and Lord knows I need someone watching over me now that Ivan's here." he shuddered.

An expression crossed Nikolai's face for a split second. " Is that right?" he murmured and leaned in a bit closer, lowering his eyelids just a little. " And what, dearie, would that be?"

Leon Court"Isn't it obvious?" he whispered, pushing his lips against Nikolai's and fiercely kissing him. The kiss told Nikolai the rest of the answer. Leon wanted more than just Nikolai's body. He wanted his heart.

Just three seconds in the kiss and already Nikolai knew what Leon wanted. The kiss was different, it was much more passionate, affectionate, loving. He could practically feel the love coming from it. Ignoring his phone once more, Nikolai closed his eyes and wrapped his arms around Leon's neck, returning the kiss with just as many emotions, if not, more.
