More Maps? I want at least another two campaigns, and another 50 maps. Playing on the same ones constantly sucks after you have beaten on EVERY combination of enemies for each.
Now that's asking a little too much... Ever tried making a map for a 3D computer game??
Even WITH a standardised "builder" program it can take weeks to iron out all the bugs, And I don't think there is such a program - I think it's hand made. So that means it takes 5 times as long. You'll get 1 new campaign (for the guardsmen) and probably 6-12 new maps. That is a little more realistic.

There is one for DOW. It was just released to A few select people as far as I can tell. And someone who knows what they are doing can come up with A good 3D battlefield in about 24 hours. No bugs in it, at that. But I suspect you are right. I will just have to deal with my battle for macragge download. Good map, just does not work so well without teams. That and my Inquisitor army list download.

Since the other thread got locked, here goes:

IGN and Gamespot have come up with some new information for the new Expansion Pack to Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War.

As you should know by now, the game introduces the Imperial Guard. The following units are mentioned in the previews or the video interview at Gamespot:

Guardsmen(duh!) -- Cheap, and die in droves when you get into combat with them.
Ogryns -- The only dedicated close combat unit the Guard have.
Techpriest Enginseers -- Probably an attached unit.
Commissar -- Hero Unit. Can increase a squad's morale by executing one of the soldiers.
Captain -- Carries a pair of Lighting Claws, and is pretty nasty in close combat, too. Apparently, GW is gonna make a model based off this guy.
Sanctioned Psyker -- Has an ability to rip the soul out of an enemy. But it can backfire and kill him instead.
Sentinel -- Seen with Multilasers or Autocannons at least. Relatively fragile. Can decap points, but can't claim them for yourself.
Chimera -- Transport unit. Multilaser turret and possibly Hatch Lasguns. Models shown are strangely without the Hull-mounted Heavy Bolter, which could mean that it or the Flamer are optional, or not included entirely.
Hellhound -- As expected, plays unholy hell with enemy morale.
Leman Russ -- Yeah right, like you didn't think this baby would show up!
Basalisk -- A monster of a gun. Out-ranges any other artillery, but every single shot it fires costs you resources. Crew can be seen in the back loading the shells, and covering their ears when it fires.
Baneblade -- We all knew about this baby by now. Nothing more needs to be said.

The Imperial Guard are said to be a defensive army. Guardsmen can be deployed into bunkers, like infanty garrissoning buildings in Red Alert 2. Inside a bunker, they gain protection(Bunker has to be destroyed before the guardsmen inside can be hurt), but also a fire bonus that increases the more soldiers are in the bunker. Heavy Weapon Platoons can also be deployed defensively.

The other four races get some adjustments to their tech trees and units(Rhinos now have their Storm/Combi- Bolters), and each gains one new unit or hero.

Space Marines get a Chaplain, decribed by IGN as "a Nightmare used to make sure children go to church, in the hopes that he doesn't come looking for them."

Eldar get some much-needed anti-vehicle power with Fire Dragons.

Orks get Mega-Armored Nobz. Presumably, the regular kind will be moved up the tree a bit, and come out sooner. MA Nobz can teleport, but lose some life in the process. Naturally, they're close-combat monsters.

Chaos gets Khorne Berzerkers. Likely, Possessed are further down the tree now.

The game's story involves a race to retrieve an Imperator-Class Titan! The "Good" Campaign is played as the Guard or Eldar, and the Chaos and Orks are the "Evil" Campaign.

HAHAHA!!! I found a touch more...

Some other features are:

The new Kill-cam.
"Apparently, Relic designers felt that the original game might not have made enough use of its powerful graphics engine, so aside from the great detail you'll see on the new faction's units, the new expansion will also have many more "sync kills." These are the dramatic, close-up, animated confrontations between various units as one finishes the other off in spectacular, gory, bloody death scenes."

Random Guardsmen, no two are alike.
"Interestingly, both infantry types will be represented onscreen with randomized body parts. That is, no two units will look alike; some soldiers will have shoulder pads, eye patches, heavy helmets, and other accoutrements that will make them look less like a squad of clones and more like an actual army of soldiers."

Imperial Guard structures.
"We also had a chance to briefly visit the Imperial Guards' bases and expansion strategies. Even though the new faction's forte is defensive entrenchment, the Imperial Guard can secure forward bases at strategic points by building heavy weapons platoons in the area, then garrisoning infantry within for strong defensive bonuses. The new faction's bases themselves will resemble a cross between modern-day military bases and World War I trench bases lined with sandbags, barbed wire, and machinegun nests."

Imperial Guard commander units.
"Rounding out the ranks are elite infantry units like the commisar, who, like World War II Russian officers of the same name, keep infantry units "motivated" by shooting any would-be deserters in the back. The Imperial Guard can also recruit the psyker, a mad wizard that hurls lightning bolts and uses a "strip soul" ability to instantly kill any enemy (but with a small chance of incinerating himself instead), and the Imperial Captain, a unit described as "part General Patton, part [comic book superhero] Wolverine." The latter is a robust, if aging soldier whose white mustache and beard aren't quite as prominent as the jagged sword-blades attached to his wrists, with which he impales, lifts, and eviscerates enemy units."

Probablt isn't gonna be as good as "CryEngine" though. Now that is an awesomegraphics engine.

btw: Modded the thread title, to help prevent duplicate threads.

In DoW it lets you customize your chapter colors. Is that only for multiplayer, and is it limited to SM?

Wait a second: Is this an IG captain, becuase you mentioned it among other IG units. Or am I mistaken?

...That's like giving a blind man contact lenses. It's not gonna help.
