hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki looked Jason over before shrugging, "i could do some more reading." he put his book bag on his desk, the bag tipping over and the corner of his notebook peeking from the opening. "there is a reference book i've been meaning to borrow from Professor Austin," he checked his watch, "he should be getting to his office soon. the man likes to talk, so i'll probably be there an hour at the least. if that is ok with you, i think i will go." he needed the book to further the story he was working on, not sure about a few things. he handed Jason a piece of paper with ancient writing on it that seemed to shimmer in the light, "rip that in half if you need me and i will know where you are." he gave Jason one last look, to make sure he wasn't changing his mind before heading to the door, "if you go after the headmaster, you'll probably be joining a party, just to warn you. he likes his recreation time." he gave his new room mate a nod before walking out and heading for the Professor's office, hoping he would have the book this time.

]  Jason watched as Tsuzuki left their shared room taking note of what the other said. He wasn't going after the headmaster, but he thought that if his roommate wanted some time alone or wanted to be in the room by himself, that he was at least relatively safe with the man since he was the one that had Tsuzuki bring him to the school. In the end, Jason put the note in his pocket and ended up reading over his notes for a bit and reading a few of the books he had gotten for class. Eventually, he fell asleep though.

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki arrived just under two hours later, excited for his story. Professor Austin had never treated him any differently since the circumstances of one's birth meant little when it came to literature and the finer arts. he was one of the few teachers that didn't hate or fear him and many did both. he walked in the room to find Jason sleeping and shook his head a bit before shedding his own clothing and laying down with a sigh. he was soon asleep, tired after a day of complete boredom. he woke as the sun rose, his normal time. he got into the shower and washed, extending his wings from where they were magically hidden and letting them stretch under the hot water. he sighed and rubbed his shoulders, aching slightly since extending them felt as if they were forcing their way out of his flesh. he hide them to keep from standing out even more than he already did. he doubted more than a handful of people in the entire school knew he had them, and they were all faculty. after Tsuzuki was clean, he dried off and folded his wings back, hiding them once more. he dressed and went to his desk to write while he waited for Jason to wake.

Jason woke the next morning to see Tsuzuki working at his desk already. It seemed that was all he saw the other doing and was very curious about what was going on though he wasn't going to pry. Perhaps one day he would say what he was doing, but he doubted it, as every time Jason moved the notebook seemed to get put away almost instantly. WIth a yawn and a stretch he stood before looking around. "I think Ill take a shower, you don't need to come with me for that do you?" He asked after a moment thinking that since he could move freely yesterday it should be alright. "I was wondering, don't you have your own classes to attend to? You should go to those so you don't get behind, Im sure it will be fine today. Besides, it seems everyone saw me going around school with you anyways, I don't think they will bother me now."

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki turned when Jason woke, "morning." he closed his notebook and shook his head, "the bathrooms in the same room, i'm pretty sure you are safe." he lifted an eyebrow at the suggestion of going to his own classes, "for the most part i am finished. i'm technically a junior, but i've finished my traditional training." being more powerful than the majority of your teachers and being able to summon 12 different powerful familiars with ease meant he got through his classes rather quickly. "i've special training every tuesday and thursday nights at 6pm, which i shall be attending alone. it won't be safe for you to be there," that and he wasn't sure he wanted Jason to see what he could do. the human didn't seem to fear him and he wanted to keep it that way as long as possible. "however, if you want to try it out alone, then make sure you keep that note on you and i'll leave you be. i'll stay near, but won't be hovering over you. it was the headmaster's hope that you would eventually get to the point where you wouldn't need me, but we didn't think it would be so soon."

Jason looked at Tsuzuki for a moment before he nodded. "Yea I guess that makes sense that they would put me with you. Still, you don't want to be stuck babysitting me all the time do you?" He asked after a moment knowing that he wouldn't want to watch someone else all the time either. "Ill make sure to keep the note with me." He said as he went to take a shower. It didn't take him long and he was soon back and in new clothes. "So, want to have breakfast before we go our separate ways?" He asked not sure just what else he could do with his room mate. He still had the feeling that the guy didn't care for him much, but he couldn't blame the guy. (Want to skip to a time when Jason is a bit better at his magic? Or to when they seem to get along a bit better?)

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell ((sure)) Tsuzuki nodded, "sure, breakfast sounds good." he got up and walked out with Jason, his eyes following the students around them, making sure that no one was watching any more than usual. they continued that pattern for the next couple of months. Tsuzuki watched over Jason from a distance while Jason continued to grow in strength. once he'd built up his endurance, the human was learning magic at a staggering pace. he didn't need Tsuzuki's protection anymore, he could take care of himself and his healing ability was turning out to be invaluable. most of the others had accepted the human as one of their own save for a few stuck up elitist, but they didn't do anything more than snidely comment about Jason's humanity. they didn't dare try anything physical knowing they would have to face Jason's ice powers, let along what Tsuzuki would do to them once Jason was done. It was nearing Christmas time, something celebrated by their school as a mid-winter festival, when the Headmaster called Tsuzuki and Jason to his office. Tsuzuki frowned when he received the summons, looking over at Jason who was at his own desk. "Headmaster wants to see us. I don't remember doing anything to get his attention, did you?" he stood up, none the less, and pulled on his jacket, readying himself to go.

Jason had been studying really hard and still went to the library to take notes on what he wanted to try or things that he didn't understand fully in class. Soon he was able to defend himself and it seemed that most of the school accepted him with the exception of a few, but it seemed those were in every species. Most of the time he was left alone but when he thought someone was thinking of doing something to him he just froze the ground around them to give them a warning he wasn't in the mood. Around Christmas Jason started to feel a bit homesick. He didn't have anyone to go see, and he was sure that anyone he knew though he had long since vanished without a trace so he probably didn't have a place to go back home to. Still, he wasn't sure what passed for Christmas at the school. He was broken out of his thoughts when Tsuzuki spoke up. "Huh? Oh, yea I don't think I did anything.... I mean I haven't caused any fights or anything. Maybe he just wants to talk see how things are going?"

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell  Tsuzuki nodded, "That's probably true." he made sure he looked alright before leading the way out, he might also plan to tell you about the Mid-Winter Fest. I know that this time of year is celebrated differently in your dimension, so the Headmaster might just be calling us to make sure you understand." though Tsuzuki had been planning to tell Jason that weekend. they arrived at the headmaster's door and Tsuzuki knocked, waiting for the Headmaster to call out before opening the door and holding it for son to go in first. The Headmaster looked up from his paperwork, his eyes lighting up when he saw who it was. "If it isn't my two favorite boys!" he stood and walked over to give Jason a hug, keeping his powers off at the moment. "how has school been treating you? i'm sorry i haven't been able to speak to you until now, there's been-" he paused for a second, thinking of how to word it, "some unexpected complications. but, enough about me! come," he pulled jason to the plush couches off to the side of his office and sat with him, Tsuzuki following and sitting across from them, "how are you liking my school?"

"Mid-Winter Fest? I suppose things are different from my home and here." Okay so this was his home now, but it still seemed a bit odd to him. He just followed Tsuzuki before they were called into the office. He entered first and thanked his roommate for holding the door for him. Jason blushed a bit as the headmaster gave him a hug. He knew the man didn't have his power active just then, but he was still an attractive guy and Jason couldn't help his reaction. "School is going well, and Im liking it alright. Still getting used to being the only human around here." He said as he sat on the couch. "So, what did you call us here for anyways?"

"Good, i'm glad to see that you seem to be fitting in here. Tsuzuki hasn't had to go to classes with you for a while now and you seem able to hold your own, I'm proud of you, Jason!" he grinned brightly at the human before settling back, "as for why i called you. well, as much as i love to catch up with my boys, there have been some complications. It seems some of our students have told their parents about you, Jason, and more importantly, your abilities. i've been receiving demands from nearly every world for me to bring you to meet their leaders. They all seem to think of you as a piece of meet to be fought over and added to their mantle." he huffed softly and Tsuzuki sat up. "Is he in danger?" he asked, his voice ice cold. some of the leaders could be more demanding than others and wouldn't think twice about kidnapping Jason to obtain him. "No, no, no, of course not!" Headmaster said, laughing a little. his eyes flashed silver, "They wouldn't dare try to defy me," and for a moment he looked like the demon he really was. "no, but there is something else. Jason, you are underage and have no guardian, correct? the main thing they are saying is that they want to 'take you in'. become your legal guardians and all that, meaning they want to control you, but i'm sure you've figured that out. what i want to propose is that you all me to adopt you formally." Tsuzuki nodded, "that seems to be the best option." Headmaster smiled, "which means i would be daddy dearest and Tsu-tsu here would be your big brother! what do you say? want to join the family?"

Jason looked a bit shocked at the news. So the students told their parents and now he was wanted in several worlds? Why would they want a human even with his powers? "Your saying that they want me because of my powers. I would be a trained dog for these people." He said shaking his head not really liking what he heard. At least it seemed that Tsuzuki and the headmaster were both going to keep him safe, though he thought he could defend himself for most things now. "I have parents, though I guess I don't really have a guardian here. I don't want to be a burden to you or Tsuzuki, and I think he should have a say in what happens too. After all this will effect him not just me." Jason said looking to his roommate. "It might be the best option, but that doesn't mean that you approve of it Tsuzuki. I.. want to know what you think about it." Sure he would accept the proposal if the other was alright with it. Of course he wasn't sure how that would change the relationship that he had with his roommate and somewhat friend. ((Also, how will that effect the romance between Tsuzuki and Jason? >.< )) ((Oh, you might want to put the 2 in my name. Your quoting the old one... so I haven't been getting notices for when you post.))

hated by heaven betrayed by hell alone i stand alone i fell Tsuzuki looked down for a little bit, putting his thoughts together, "i wouldn't mind. it's not like anything will change since this is all just a formality to keep you safe." he looked to the headmaster who nodded, "you will sort of be in the same situation as me. if the headmaster hadn't taken me in, i would have been killed, though. so in this case, i think if you do not want to take up the headmaster then you may want to meet with the various leaders and choose someone for yourself. not all of them will be as ethical as others, but they will all treat you well." the headmaster nodded, "it's true. if you don't want it to be us, that is fine. you also don't have to choose someone to be your guardian either. i only suggested it to keep some of the more forceful ones from trying to sway your hand." he smiled and patted Jason's cheek, "we won't be offended if you say no." ((sorry about that, i fixed it. also, i don't think it would change anything in the romance. they aren't blood related and since they didn't really grow up together, or spend much time together until now, it wouldn't be gross in that way. it's just a piece of paper saying they are the headmaster's sons, nothing more.))

"Then if it is alright with both of you, I would like to accept your offer. I trust both of you, and I know that I wont be forced into a situation I don't want." Well except for when he first started of course, but now he was happy he had been virtually kidnapped. If he hadn't been he would go through his life being boring and not knowing what he actually was. "So, what does this entail anyways? I don't have to call you dad do I?" He asked after a moment before he looked at the two men before him. "Are you sure that this will actually stop most of the more forceful families from trying to grab me?" Of course he supposed they could still attempt to get him to join their family if they found out he was into men. He was fairy certain a few would try to seduce him. He had heard of things like that happening on his own world so what was to stop it from happening here? ((that is what I figured ^^))

"having you as my adopted son will deter all but the stupidest of the people who are after you. look at Tsuzuki here, he wasn't kidding when he said everyone wanted him dead, but the moment i took him under my wing, the threat to his life was gone. well-" he smirked, "there was this one man, but he learned quickly not to mess with an Incubus." Tsuzuki shook his head a little, "have you let him out yet?" the headmaster grinned, fangs showing, "of course not. why would i give up a perfectly good sex slave?" Tsuzuki leaned back, "the fact that Headmaster has paraded that man at every social gathering for the past ten years drove home to all the other families why they would be better off not touching anyone under the Headmaster's care. you will be safe." Headmaster nodded, "now, as for how this works, it's rather easy, really. i'll have my people draw up the paperwork, we go to court and announce that you are joining my family. we sign the paper, spill a little blood on it and poof! instant family!"
