Sneasel looked at the note again, then put it back into her pocket. She looked at Mimi. "I couldn't tell you for sure because... I'm still not convinced." She turned away, "let's go to this detention."

Miss Orange stood at the door of the classroom tapping her foot impatiently. "Let's go, troublemakers. Don't take all day!" She nearly tripped over the nomadic wandering-type person when she turned to enter the room. "Pants! Do you want detention, too? Then get to class!" How did she know Pants' name? He hadn't said anything to her...

She didn't want to fall out with Mimi. If she did, there wasn't anyone else really. But she couldn't stand being lied to. And if Mimi really was a vampire...? She hadn't quite figured out what she would do.
