Camron Flamheart I think it's more of a vote for who we should protect. If demons flood the planet, they will technically be a new variation of Gaians, as they will reside within Gaia. Does this mean we should protect them, also? That is true. Free for All! *Shoots more people and runs off with a giant techno hammer.* No Tea Bagging today. I don't like to do it to actual dead people.

Akidashi It's hard to pick.. Being a female myself I would side the Sentinel, yet to protect Gaia I must side with B.O.O. Or I should stay neutral... (Did you guys notice that some of the NPCs are right over at B.O.O.'s side.. Just noticed it xD) Yeah, it seems that our good ol' NPCs will be siding with the Overseer, which is a compelling reason to join him... in my view. Not as a representative of our organization, but as an individual. No offense, but I can't quite think things are this clear cut, and on another level, as head of weapons development, I should find out what ultimate weapons the Infernal Nation has so we can use them when the time comes. It's fine if individuals want to side with SIN. Not like we could stop you, anyway. Just as long as you don't rep the GiB while doing it--no uniforms or badges, please. I feel like protecting Gaians is far more important than neutrality. Our stance as a "neutral" group stems from the fact that during the Zurg event, we were willing to use force to defend Gaia (like the resistance) but preferred peace (like the believers), therefore putting us squarely between them. At least, that's how I see it. In this case, I don't think the "war" can be averted without nullifying the whole event. Because, the truth is, countless Gaians *will* want to side with SIN. And if we side with the overseer, then we comit to fighting those Gaians as well. That's not any different than the Zurg event... countless Gaians sided with Zurg, but we were still willing to oppose them for the greater good. Personally, I advocate taking the mercenary approach. Just grab the items that are issued to you, move on, and watch the chaos from a distance.

I'll remove my ID from my sig and act with SIN as an individual until I have what I want, and then will do so with BOO. At that point in time, I will re-equip my ID and act as either a neutral agent, or I will join the rest of the agents in their decision.

Anyways... I think we should stick to what's already been said. Side with who you want to... and protect gaians where needed. Whether from S.I.N. or from B.O.O.
Having a mule in each guild doesn't hurt either. ninja

There's a fourth option we could take... Some of us could join SIN as Deep Undercover Agents, and infiltrate the highest echelons of demon society, so that we may observe, spy, and gather information. I believe that, like the merfolk, the demons are a race of Gaians. Some are good, and some are bad. The Sentinel just happens to be bad. She can't be the voice of all her people! We honestly do not know SIN's intentions yet.
Its why I have said we should oppose them openly but privately keep tabs on their insides. Make sure we aren't being deceived.

In any case, OmniDrink will have someone constantly spying on one of the two cults for information. A screw-up in the system happened, and some parts of the information block they requested didn't come in.
They're waiting until the event begins to send him in, though. They've got loads of paperwork to go through before sending him anywhere at all.

Nevertheless there are many dubious actions I could condone for the greater good of Gaia but I fail to see how this helps anyone but your own perverse desires.

Am I the only one who's noticed that in the background of the image at the start of the thread is Jack. Perhaps he is manipulating both sides for his own evil ends. After all the Overseer seems fairly benevolent, and Sentinel means guardian so perhaps there is good hidden beneath the infernal surface. I doubt it now matters who we join as they may, ultimately both end up fighting Jack. Any thoughts?
