(Entering from wherever as well))

"Hey hey now..." Zeb pounded in, his reiatsu burning the ground around him "I heard my favorite words... 'A fight'." He smiled like an idiot, hoping that this was one of the bount. "I've heard about you guys... Supposed to have been massacred in the Labs..." he looked over at Zaine "Heya bud. Want a hand? If it's a tag-team... We should be more then enough." Smiling evilly as he drew Eefret and looking at the Bount. "My name is Zebediah Flamstel, and I'm the Fuko-Taicho of the Squad that created you..."

"Zaine... would you like the honors of beginning, or shall I?"

((Yay... an active match!)

Zaine laughed in the middle of what appeared to be another one of the bount's droning comments about how inferior Zaine was to him, "Good god you are a broken record, do you not understand me princess? What you think you know about me and what the truth is are so far disconnected you couldn't find it with a million of your ugly a** clones." He commented brightly, the grin on his face belying the harsh truth in his words, "As to calming down, well I don't think that there's much chance of that happening in this situation now is there?" He yawned to punctuate how boring he found this man's way of speaking to be, "Ya know, I really hate self centered people like you, in fact just looking at that face of yours has my blood near it's boiling point, and when you add in that dumb as blathering of yours I'm finding it hard to resist just knocking the piss outta ya." He said with a wicked grin, tossing a quick glance over to the doll he shook his head at the statement that his master was second in command of the whole operation, "Hard not to be ranked high up when there's only about four people in your group though, so forgive me if I'm not impressed by his 'rank'." The shinigami drawled, his only reaction to the sudden attack by the doll was a quick glance to the leg that had been attacked, sliding his focus back to the two he grinned once more.

"Now that was just plain rude, didn't you reprimand me earlier for attacking someone before the party had started? Not only are ya full of yourself, you are a hypocrite too, that's pathetic really." He said somewhat cooly, "I will thank you for noting the work I put into perfecting that ability though, though I am curious as to what trick you have that would let you know about it. Perhaps something to do with that little attack your doll launched on me?" he was about to continue with his probing when he felt the familiar reiatsu of Zeb, "Bout damn time someone else showed up to the party, watch out for this one, he's likely to kill ya by just blabbering on about how inferior we are to him for an hour, and I'd watch out for that clone of his, there's some kinda weird trick to it. As for the honors, I guess I'll let you have first go my friend, consider it my gift to ya eh?" he said lightly, bowing to his comrade and gesturing for him to have at it.

"Dully noted..." Zeb spoke calmly as he analyzed what he could tell off hand, which wasn't much. "When in doubt... My master taught me to give 100%, and leave nothing out..." He spoke in a monotonous voice as he drew his zanpaku-tou. "Slice the core, burn the soul... Eefret Hanabi..." Zeb spoke fluidly as his odachi was engulfed in flames, lengthening the blade to a nodachi and giving it a slight redish-tint as it was covered in flaming plasma. As this occured, Zeb's reiatsu exploded out, as flame-like reiatsu began to scorch the air and ground around him.

Standing majestically, with his shikai released, he was easily the tallest person, and hopefully, most threatening man, the Bount had ever seen. "Zaine-san, please, prepare yourself as well... Bount are not to be underestimated in any circumstance... Use all means necessary to completely destroy him... we need to finish quickly, and check on other parties." Zebediah spoke calmly, trying to stress that there was a possibility that others would be having troubles as well.

[I apologise in advance for the quality of this post.]

Blume shook his head very slightly as he listened to Zaine speak. It was as if the man's words had been amplified a great deal. He was about to open his mouth and ask the man not to yell when he remembered something that his Doll had once told him, "The seal on your glasses will be but the first to release. Soon, all your senses will be magnified beyond your wildest dreams." 'So this was what he was talking about, was it?' When the shinigami started to make a remark about his rank he couldn't help but laugh, "Mr. Tsukioma, I think you should really open up a book or two before making ludicrous statements. You see, the Raven's aren't ranked in regards to their standing in the Organization. If fact, it wouldn't be far fetched to find one ranked five or lower being the one in charge in the past. No... unlike your shinigami ranks which place you based on a culmination of power, experience, necessity, and how many times you've been on your knees; we are based solely on our power." He smiled, glancing at the man's new companion out of the corner of his eyes. 'Still not the Red Man, eh? What's taking him?' "To put it in the simplest terms possible, Mr. Tsukioma, I am the equivalent of one of your captains, and that's while I'm back on Earth." He trailed off. If this other man was the Vice Captain of the Twelfth Division, surely he would know what that would mean.

Finally turning his attention to the behemoth of a man he grinned and smirked. "Well than I guess your master was quite the intelligent man, wasn't he?" Letting the flood of warmth wash over him was some what awe-inspiring. "Not bad. You don't know how very pleased I am to finally fight someone with such passion. Now, if only your friend would release we could really see just the difference in power. And hey, if the Red Man shows up in time to see you drop to your knees and beg for forgiveness, well than that would be even more sweet." His laughter was sickening. Something about all the power in this new environment...

Gathering reishi under his feet, the Bount launched forward, blade raised ever so slightly off the ground. With a quick flash of silver the tip of his blade went from the ground to Zaine's left shoulder before being spun around in an elegant sweeping circle to hopefully block the incoming retaliation. If the man didn't move quickly, though, he'd have a pretty nice wound to show all his friends. Meanwhile Haupt made his way to intercept the monster of a man known as Zebediah. While the Doll wasn't able to cause any physical harm, it would be able to give his Master a bit of insight. "Sorry about all this, Chap. You have to understand... I never wanted it to come to this. But the boy just has a way about him. Once he has his mind set on one thing, nothing anyone can do will change it."

"So it's finally time to kick this guy's a** then Zeb?" Zaine inquired with an almost relieved tone, glancing back to the bount he smirked at his continued assumption of superiority. "Are you ******** braindead? How many more times must I tell you that you severely underestimate your opponents before you realize that there must be a reason for me to keep saying it? Unlike you I don't like to utter meaningless s**t a thousand times, power is nothing if the person using it is themselves an inferior product." he said plainly, ignoring the droll attempts by the bount to rouse his anger by taking jabs his standing in the Gotei.

As soon as he caught the slightest bit of movement from the bount as he lunged at him Zaine had brought his zanpakuto up to catch the opponent's blade between the pair of sword blades that made up his unusual zanpakuto's form, turning in unison with the bount he allowed the man to finish his spin and disengaged his blades with a sharp call of metal on metal meeting and coming apart. "Well if you are that hasty at least let me get into a proper attire of sorts eh?" he commented dryly, with a sudden monstrous surge of Reiatsu his eyes lit up and he muttered, "Bare your fangs and Howl, Za Shotou Ookami!" Suddenly his body exploded into a brilliant, blinding light that completely and utterly removed him from the Bount's field of view briefly before dissipating suddenly as it came. The sudden lack of light could prove just as disorienting as the sudden presence of it, Zaine now stood with two large blades, one that was obsidian depicted an ivory wolf running across an open field, the detail was such that the picture seemed to move as the shinigami did, the blade in his left hand was of the purest white, with a similar design of a wolf on it, this one was running across across a lake view area, the very water appeared to shimmer and move even when at rest. Each blade lacked a guard in the classical sense but were trimmed with fur of opposing color to their respective blades and each possessed what appeared to be a wickedly sharp canine fang at the end of the hilt. Leveling the right sword at the bount easily he flashed a wicked and feral grin to his foe. "Let's get this s**t started properly then shall we? Son of the earth, Warbringer Blaze forth!" he commanded, the black blade erupted into a violent and blazing inferno that greedily licked at the open air around the shinigami. Bringing the blade to his side he suddenly shunpo'd the the left of the bount and attempted to slice the man in half with a mighty strike to the torso coming at an upward angle that started from Blume's shins in order to minimize the ease of dodging the attack. "Show me what you are really capable of you wordy b*****d!" he commanded.

(Wow, really rusty at the fights)
PostPosted: Mon May 02, 2011 6:09 pm

"You know… It's really a shame that you need to fight…" Zeb sighed slightly as he held the blade with his right hand. "I'd prefer to be drinking… or tinkering… But I guess fighting is another way to pass the time!" He laughed as he rushed recklessly forward, digging the blade into the ground, causing the dry parched earth to go up in flames. "I'm not one of those weaklings… You chose to fight the most physically able Shinigami; Zebediah Flamstel, Fuko-Taicho of 12th Squad!"

As he continued to drag the blade on the ground, easily melting the ground and setting it ablaze, he drew in the heat to bolster his muscles, maximizing the slashing power and speed of his right arm.

"An inferior product, huh? If only that were true... But it is not in the nature of humans, dead or otherwise, to utterly destroy an inferior product. No, they only seek out and kill those they find as opposition. We, Mr. Tsukioma, are your opposition. We are the ones who will bring you to justice." growled Blume. How could one such as Zaine, a disrespectful little brat, call him an inferior product. Having been momentarily too wrapped up in his own thoughts Blume hadn't thought to turn away from the man's release; a mistake he would pay for. As the light cascaded over the grounds and swept over him, Blume found himself staring into an expanse of sheer white. No shadows, no colors. His eyes had been bleached in the time it took for the flash to subside, leaving him temporarily blinded. "b*****d." He growled. Thankfully there was more than one way to track such an arrogant little p***k. He stretched out his senses as best he could, his hearing picking up the slight movements over the ground that his eyesight could not. A gentle swoosh permeated the air. 'Shunpo..' There was no definite way to tell where the man would be coming from. The rear would be the most obvious target, as most believed that covering your rear was the most difficult, but it was also the most predictable so it was doubtful that his opponent would risk it. The next easiest would of course be his right flank, as it was the side opposite to his weapon, and would thus take longer for Blume to provide a counter attack. He doubted this, however, because he believed that if Zaine was as arrogant as he was acting, he would surely want more of a challenge. The only two places left were his armed flank and his front so, taking a chance, he dove forward into a monkey roll. Spinning once he reached his knee he blinked hard, trying his best to gain his vision back.

"I agree. Sharing a nice stiff drink seems a much better way to resolve our differences in my opinion. But just as your zanpukatou would go into battle with you, so will I go into battle with the boy." Unlike his counterpart, Haupt began to back away from his opponent. He knew better than to test anyone without first knowing every little detail about them from their fighting style, to what they had for lunch the week prior. "I would have expected something very different from a Vice Captain of the Squad of Research and Development..." His comment was nothing short of interested. In fact, had it not been for the circumstances in which he now stood, he would have been more than eager to sit down with the man and discuss different sciences. 'Two fire-based zanpukatou?' It seemed far fetched that two people of similar rank would have such similar weaponry. "I must say, it's a good thing neither of you are going against Giaus. I'm afraid that the conflicting air current you three would create would cause some disastrous weather conditions for the Sereitei..."

[Sorry for the wait.]

"Justice? Once again you are making almost no sense ya shitty bount." Zaine snapped, unsurprised by the fact that the man had managed to avoid such a simple attack, having held back releasing the flames from his blade in an initial strike was a move of a tactical nature for the vice captain. Turning to face the spot where the man had rolled to he noted that the bount seemed to be quite disoriented from something, "What's wrong ya b*****d? Where's all that fancy backtalk you were saying earlier?" He asked with a laugh, he could make out some of the words being exchanged between Zeb and the doll, but he didn't really feel like paying too much attention to the two at this point, he didn't have a full grasp on what Blume was capable of yet so he couldn't afford to relax lest he allow himself to make a stupid mistake. "Ya know, I think that I'd like to see what all you can dodge, let me see you dance to my song will ya?" he asked with a smile, stabbing his left blade into the ground he made a claw like gesture with his fingers and channeled reiatsu into each fingertip, Zaine then began to draw the wind around each finger in and condense it into the form of five spheres of compressed wind, "Gale Song." he said calmly, and released the attack, the five orbs screaming at the bount at a speed nearly equal to that of a shunpo, and possessing of enough power to tear through solid steel.

"The heat is one part of my shikai... You'll see the true power shortly." Zebediah laughed wildly as his leg muscles absorbed some more heat, causing the cells that make them up to begin to rapidly gain a greater strength, allowing him to get marginally faster, quickly closing the gap between himself and the doll. "And incase you're wondering... I'm the Head Security for 12th Squad. I'm the Brawling Weapon Maker." Laughing maniaclly, he drew further power to his arm and blade, causing the heat to increase in strength as the ground began to burn with a greater intensity.

At the exact moment he spoke those words, he lunged forward with Hikanakon, slicing upwards with the blade, the plasma burning brightly. "Burn you damned doll. Burn, and take the shame of 12th Squad with you!"

"You are but a fool for challenging me, Zaine Tsukioma. I only pray that you remain as arrogant as you are now. It will make destroying that which you love all the more sweet. Teich der Gesundheit!" The man would finally see what it meant to be a Raven as Blume's carbon fiber cane shaft melted down into a pool which, mixed with the metal ore from the earth beneath them, shot up to form an oval that completely encompassed the Bount. Not a second too late either as just as the shield finished forming he could feel and see, not to mention hear, the many orbs slamming against his covering, sending white and light blue streaks flashing against his artificially made night. His laughter echoed around him as he let the shield finally fall and he emerged, not only unharmed, but revitalized. "A pool of health, forever at the command of it's master, Mr. Tsukioma. That is what it means to truly force a tool to obey. A technique far superior to any the likes of the shinigami could muster." Without having to utter a single syllable the shield that had just protected him melted back into a puddle before forming a cane shaft again and flying into his hand. "Do you get it yet? You can't compare with me. You can't even comprehend the magnitude of my power! Once I am done, you and your comrades will have to rebuild everything. I will demolish all that you know and hold dear." The Bount chose his words carefully. He would never make the empty thread, never say such lies, or believe such things as killing the shinigami. That wasn't what he came here for. He came merely to prove their worth. Nothing more, nothing less.

"You know, I honestly thought that when I first used this technique it would be against someone more fitting to see it. Sadly I'm stuck with you. The Sun's Reflection meets the Blades of the Moon Beams." Blume was only able to look upon his blade and it's sheath for a moment before they both began to melt, dripping like candle wax until they formed two oversized Kama, small dancing metallic flames fluttering at the end of their handles. "Even at this distance they can sense your power. I can feel the flames licking at your reiatsu, desperately trying to sedate their hunger by feeding upon it. I must oblige them, Zaine. I must give them what they so yearn for." Blitzing in towards his opponent he left little time to prepare as he swung both blades in opposite directions; his left on a downward diagonal from Zaine's left shoulder blade to right hip, and his right on an upward path that would split the man's groin and, if left unchecked, would cleave him in half completely.

Something burned on the inside of the man's nose and he knew instantly that another seal must have been released. And no sooner had the burning subsided that he could pick out the many different flowers that littered the Sereitei. He could tell the difference in the currents of air based on their scent and could even pick up his opponents partner behind him with astonishing acuity. "Come back, Haupt. The man is obviously looking for a fight. The least we could do is give one to him." Begrudgingly he could feel his Doll melt back into a pool of silver and return to his blades. "I do apologize," He called over his shoulder. "Haupt has never been much for fighting. A loyal partner, but to damn proper for his own good. How about I introduce you to another friend of mine. Schmeid, say hello..."

A ripping issued forth, as though the very earth beneath them was screaming to release pent up rage that had grown larger as more and more blood spilled across it's soil over the years. Pulling itself from one of the many tears in the earth rose a suit of armor, animalistic grunts sounding from deep within it's massive frame. "Kill the insolent whelp. Kill. Kill. Kill." Even though the words came out savagely brutalized anyone who had any inclination at reading intent would know instantly what the creature wanted. It's power was massive and dark, blacker even than the most evil of hollow. "Pain. Need to cause pain. Kill. Kill. Kill."

Well, this is... inconvenient.

Fefnir had sorely underestimated the strength of the sense-blocking spells which had been intended to keep him undisturbed by outside events. Even now, several crucial minutes later, he was unable to sense anything solidly, instead having flashes and waves of reiatsu from all over penetrate the mental landscape the captain normally had to call on when locating things. Without it, not only could he not follow the Bount back to his squad, he couldn't find the squad at all. It was like running blind; everything seemed, though completely visible, entirely foreign, without substance or shape.

"Come on, come on! Get it together," he said to no one in particular, rubbing his temples with the first and middle fingers on either hand, "Just focus. Clear this kidou bullshit out. People are depending on you to do this." Those fingers moved to his now closed eyes and pressed lightly, then gave way to palms. The captain made a mental note to discover who had placed the enchantments and punch them in the shoulder. Really, really hard.

On the plus side, though he couldn't feel anything very clearly, Fefnir was still completely aware of his own power and the influences on it. Once he had actually stopped and taken the time to examine his condition, he found that there were several points of foreign power at his joints and chest. As swift as a coursing river, with the strength of a great typhoon, he removed that s**t and felt the world come back into focus, just in time to be hit in the face with a wave of Bounto power, followed quickly by one shinigami, then another. It was obvious, but at least he could rest a bit easier. With two guys there already, he hardly had to lift a finger. Surely they could take care of it, so he just started to walk back to his office. A few smaller flares followed as he proceeded, attacks, nothing surprising from either side, but then, a feeling swept over him.

A pause.

Then he started running.

The Bount was getting stronger all the time, and if his power kept rising at this rate, there was no way two vice captains would be able to defeat him, especially with neither possessing bankai. This boy, the one in the glasses... he wasn't bluffing. If the others were as strong as him, the Sereitei was going to have a real problem. There was always the hope he could be reasoned with, but as a rule, no one in this world would listen to reason unless they'd been thoroughly beaten senseless. So, combat first, talking later.

Fef pushed some reiatsu into his legs and temples, and went to true Shukuchi paired with One Step Ocular Shukuchi, arriving a moment later, in time for the ground to split in several places, the force of his arrival adding new fissures to the earth in the Koi Pond. His reiatsu was easy to feel pouring from his legs, though it was invisible, and red was trailing from his eyes. The man in red stood ramrod straight as he faced the white haired boy, feet shoulder width apart, and with his hands folded behind his back, a truly military posture. Long red hair blew behind him with the force of the emerging power in front, empty crimson eyes staring not at the emerging armor, but its owner.

"Good evening, boy," he spoke, raising his voice just loud enough to be heard over the cacophony, "I apologize for my tardiness; I had some unforeseen delays. I am Fefnir Kamashiro-Shihouin, and I am the captain of the First Division, the Captain-Commander of the Gotei 13. I hope you're prepared."

The rising fissures in the earth sent the Bount slightly forward and to the left which in turn made him miss his target. With a grumbling mixture of curses under his breath he tucked into a ball and rolled away, jumping up only when he was sure he was well out of reach of the three shinigami. "Well, well, well. So I finally get to hear the name of the infamous Captain Commander, and who is it but Mr. Red from earlier." He laughed, straightening himself as he casually brushed off a bit of dirt. "To tell you the truth, I'm actually a glad that you decided to turn up. But if you have as much trouble getting rid of me as you did those demon spells then I'm afraid your comrades might be in for quite the long night. I do have one bit of good news for you... I am the strongest of the Bount and now that The Shadow is gone I am the Raven in charge. So... Are you and your cronies finally going to give me your all, or am I going to go and have a bit of fun?" His laughter came out as little more then a maniacal cackle. The white haired man twisted and spun his kama as he waited for the next move. Now that there were this many of them he would really have to be on the look-out. "So, are there any more of you coming?"

"Pain. Kill. Kill. Kill." It had the voice of crashing freight trains, and a physical presence that was easily as noticeable as his counterpart's spiritual pressure. "Rip them. Tear them. Cut them." Bending over the massive suit of armor seemed to take hold of a root, yet it wasn't a piece of foliage he came up with. As he rose, so too did a hunk of earth and the more he rose the deeper the impression in the ground became. "Cleave them in Half. I want their blood. I want their life. Kill. Kill. Kill." It became very clear what the artificial sentry was holding once the beast rose it's right arm; a massive broadsword stretching to the heavens. With a heave the beast swung the blade from right to left, stretching as far out towards the Vice Captain of squad 12 as he could get. "Come here bug. Let me squash you!"

[Couldn't think. The next one will be better hopefully.]

Noticing the Captain-Commander, he acknowledged him with a nod. "Sir, leave this behemoth to me. Just let out as much heat as you can at all times... And don't worry. He's strong, but I'm too stupid to care." Zeb smiled at his own unique form of intelligence; that of utter stupidity and uncaring.

"You wish for me to come there? I shall deliver it with your demise!" Zebediah howled happily as he leaped forward, the garbled speech of the gargantuan armor easy enough for him to understand. As he lunged forward, his reiatsu accidentally gathering below his heels, and propelling his body forward quickly. As he moved faster then he was used, he began to release his reiatsu as a debilitating heat all around him. The heat began to meld with his movements, and shimmered around him. I... Can form mirages? He thought to himself as he began to notice this phenomenon around him. Putting this bit of information on the side of his mind, he pulled his dear Eefret to the side, and prepared for a slice.

"Burn the souls of the wicked, pure, and indifferent..." He said calmly as he jumped upwards onto the blade, and continued his massive run towards the monster armour along the length of the broadsword. He gritted his teeth as he gathered even more reiatsu into his arms, and - as he was taught it was a continuation of his arms- into his blade. Nearly instantaneously, the blade's plasma went from a constant red and blue to a white hot, signifying that these flames would be the hottest imaginable. The plasma even began to leap from the end of the blade, proving that this was his best technique as of yet."Burning Pyre Slash..." Zebediah spoke calmly as he slashed through the armour's torso, and landed neatly on the ground with the blade out-stretched in front of him. "It won't even matter..."

The plasma lived up to it's new technique name; it truly was a beacon for the end of a battle. It was hotter then ever before, and droplets surrounded the area of the slash, burning the earth, and spreading at a quick rate. This meant more heat in the air, and more heat for Zebediah to use as a energy source. "I know that your power is stronger then that you piece of s**t armour... But you're not much better... I've seen better pieces then you in history books."

X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X-X

If the boy's words had any effect, Fefnir refused to let it get to the surface past a small smile, more a smirk, saying silently, say what you will, because I have no fear of you or your words. Though, there was one thing he would answer, confidently and concisely.

"I will be enough."

With deliberate motion, measured and careful out of habit, the red man's posture changed; weight shifted imperceptibly off of heels and onto the balls of his feet, his knees bent for balance, his waist tilted forward, preparing to move in any direction. Crimson hair, before blown back, had come to rest and obscure his still grinning face, and red energy streamed through it. His hands were removed from behind his back, the left moving across his chest to grip the black sword handle emerging from his right shoulder, while the right took its place on his stomach, digits reaching and finding the red twin on his left hip. A quick pull, and both blades and arms hung loosely from his side. The discerning observer would notice the slightest trembling of his calves and thighs, belying the power he was keeping harnessed within for his True Shukuchi, and even the dullest would feel the spike in heat. The already hot air produced by a combination of the 12th VC and the Bount's wordiness couldn't compare to the effects of the swelling reiatsu the captain was releasing bit by bit, matching the rise of the boy in front of him and slightly exceeding it time and again as it continued its upward spiral, each moment adding more and more warmth to the air.

Zeb addressed him next. Well, heat accomplished. Seems like you lucked out, Mouse Boy... he mused, smile growing slightly bigger, How convenient that you feed off my byproducts. The giant struck the armor with his own move, and seemed to cleave it into two pieces, which was better than what had been expected, but Fefnir hadn't bothered to keep track of that half the fight after the initial move. Let the fool have his fun. The rest was between the captain and the Bount.

No sense in losing an opportunity, then. Fefnir gave no indication of his move, which is the beauty of the True Shukuchi. When he used it, he didn't move so much as he simply stopped being there and started being somewhere else. In this case, the somewhere else was on the left hand side of the boy, crouched, poised to launch forward, arms across his body to prepare twin blades for a crossing strike. Attacks from behind were easy to predict and easier to dodge for anyone who knew what they were doing. The sides, however, were still in a blind spot, harder to fully deflect if detected, and from the lower position were even harder to counterattack. Not to mention, this was presumably and statistically his off hand, meaning he was even less likely to be prepared to deal with an assault there. With a sharp push, the red man became a red bladed bullet, moving forward at extreme speeds, and with timing attained through endless repetition, he swung both weapons to make two parallel cuts, one through the arm and the next to cleave the torso. With that same leg strength, he forced himself to a stop about ten feet on the right of the boy, momentum used to turn Fefnir toward him again.
