Argus Plexus Nyu-kun Don't forget Kevin Barlow. There's also Larry Johnson, but he's been hurt. Kind of proven to happen though when you carry 400+ times in a season. Domonick Williams with the Texans. Did good for a couple years. Has since disappeared... Cadillac Williams. Had a good rookie season. Since been plague with injuries and been replaced by Earnest Graham. Lol. Duce Staley. A few good seasons with Philly. No one has seen him since... Lol. There are lots of running backs that do good for a couple seasons then disappear. Don't give me bullshit about Williams and Stewart. If anything Cadillac Williams had a lot more potential and was a better running back than both Williams and Stewart, but he's disappeared because of injuries. You don't know what'll happen in the future. Teams might wisen up and just pwn you. They could get injured. Whatever. Okay, just to set the record straight I DON'T GIVE A s**t ABOUT STEWART! Williams is one of the best RB's out there. I'm not saying he's the absolute best and that nobody is better than him, but I'm saying THIRD BEST AINT TOO DAMN BAD! Just stop dissing him already. I don't care who you care about, Williams or Stewart. I don't give a s**t. You might want to read... I didn't name one or the other. I named both. And I'll repeat the same thing. Show it to me. More than one season. Is DeAngelo Williams gonna end up like Cadillac Williams? Bust up a knee and never get back to normal? I'll repeat it over and over, Show it to me again. Then I'll call you number 3 or whatever. Right now, I'll put Peterson, Westbrook, Tomlinson, Barber, Brown, Jones, Parker, Addai, Gore, and Portis above Williams. They've been in the league longer and have done it consistently year after year. I can depend on them because they've done it year after year. With Williams, he might become that, but he hasn't done it yet. One year doesn't mean anything.

With Williams, he might become that, but he hasn't done it yet. One year doesn't mean anything. First of all, this was only his third year, so how about you not just write him off before he's had a chance to make a history for himself. Secondly, he made third best this season fair and square. All of the names you mentioned are well established names, and have been around long enough to prove that they have what it takes to be one of the best. I promise you that Williams will set more franchise records, and maybe even a few league records in the next few seasons. Go ahead and look at his stats, and you will see how much he has improved in such a short time. It's rather surprising, really. http://www.nfl.com/players/deangelowilliams/careerstats?id=WIL221323

if you look at his stats he really has not improved much, just gotten the ball more, and NYU is not writing him off, just wait too see if he is durable, Ricky williams for example his first few years were AMAZING then he got caught smoking pot and his carrer went down the drain

I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I suggest you watch DeAngelo in the coming seasons, though. He's a weapon.

Look at the offensive lines. That's where the success lies.
Take the Giants, for instance. This season, they were the best rushing team in the NFL. And this was because of their offensive line, who were great run blockers. They used Brandon Jacobs, Derrick Ward, and Ahmad Bradshaw. No, none of these were tops in the league in yards, but they shared carries, and Jacobs and Ward each got 1000 yard seasons.
...And I think that some of the RBs that Nyu-kun mentioned just had a bad statistical year this season, because of injury or a bad team.

Maybe it's the short posts and the Panthers relations. wink The idea is to be a bit broad and convincing.

Or I could just keep on going how I am. I'll do my best not to mention the Panthers outside of the Panthers topic. Tweenie is a term for a kid between the ages of 9-12.

Well, Westbrook is my favorite, he would have better numbers if they ran him more than used him in the pass game, but Adrian Peterson is the best right now, then probably Westbrook, then DeAngelo Williams, Mike Turner, Matt Forte, Steve Slaton.... And I guess Willie Parker, even though I hate him.
