He scoots farther down, moving as close as he can to her, both paws outstretched. "I'll try to get closer."

She moved up a bit more, reaching out for his paw "Almost..." she said, climbing up a bit more "Got it!" she said and grabbed onto his paw, bringing her other one up "Ok." she said and nodded.

He grabs a hold of her paw, holding on firmly as he pulls back up. After a minute of struggling, he manages to help her up. "Good jon Rose. That was hard to climb up."

"Yeah." she said, looking at him and smiling "Let's just... take a second to catch our breath." she said, rolling onto her back and looking up at the clouds. She waved her tail back and forth, twitching her ear as she watched the sky.

He stretches a bit, then rolls to his back as well, looking up at the blue sky. "Alright. I don't mind a rest." He catches his breath, his paws crossing over his stomach chest area.

She had her paws on her stomach too. "Hey!" she said and pointed at a cloud "That one looks like my... dad." she put her paw down and sighed.

He was looking up at the clouds seeing shapes, then had looked where she'd motioned. He heard her sigh. "Are you alright Rose?" He looks over at her a little worried.

"Yeah." she said, looking away "Just a little homesick I guess." she turned on her side towards him "I'll be fine though, k? So don't you worry bout me." she put on a smile and went back onto her back.

"That's understandable Rose." He moves to his side looking at her, not sure what to say. He relaxes when she tells him not to worry. "Ok i won't. But if you need somebody to talk to, i'm here." He rolls back to his back.

"Yeah. I see a cub. Right there. "He motions with his paw, outlining the body. He smiles, really enjoying the day. "It reminds me of me when i was younger."

He just looks at the cloud cub for a moment, then answers in a kind of sad manner. "I'd have spent more time with my siblings." He thinks to himself, then looks over at her. "What about you?"

She closed her eyes "I wouldn't have run away. I missed my family for so long but needed time to deal with my..." she stopped and opened her eyes, waving her paw in front of her left one "I was different. They couldn't understand."

He looks over at her watching her wave her paw in front of her left eye. "I understand. sometimes time alone is better. I just wish that my siblings were still..." He stops and sighs, wondering how his old home was, knowing he could never go back. "I guess we both have problems in our pasts." He looks away feeling wetness sting his eyes.
