I mainly stick here, but seeing how inactivity was general, I went to other guilds and tried to see what made them so active, hence my suggestion to the staff

Yeah.. I'm staff, but kinda need the opinions of the others and see what shall be done and stuff smile
I have confidence, though, that this inactivity will be just a matter of time.

i hate it when guild you put a lot of effort into suddenly just stop all activity and then closes up. or everyone just abandons it and there are only a a handfull of people out of the hundreds who actually still talk regulary.

Not so long ago, I gave a friend of mine 20,000 gold to open a guild.
It is about one of my favorite videogames, and it was actually half dead, so I'm trying to revive things anyway I can, even re-playing the game so I can remember things and set a rp thread, a well structured one so I get more people involved.
I'm not even staff there, I just like the place and the people.
It's the same here, this is a great guild, and I have been inactive for a while, but it would be a shame if it was left to die just like that.

I'm trying to help and resurrect Chrono Trigger Haven, and my guild... Well, I sold it long ago, and it's used as a hang out of sorts smile

It seems so impossible to resurrect dead guilds. I've been trying to ressurect a guild that I was crew of that was then given to me, but alas to no avail. Eventually guilds I was crew of that died were simply given or solf away and made into a different guild. Kinda sad.

I know what you mean, Chrono Trigger Haven is the "Sequel" of "The Official Chrono Trigger Guild" the owner, Eagle 1, was either on the air forces or the army (Can't recall, to be honest) and was re-located somewhere in the middle east, it's been nearly a year since we heard of him, so, some devoted users (Me included) wanted the CT to work out, but with none of us as staff, was nearly impossible. I donated the 20K for the guild to be bought, I'm not even staff there, but it's such a nice place to just... Let it die like that.
