Erfaewen I just realized I didn't answer my own question. xd I started watching it when my dad got me hooked on British Comedy. I live in America and don't get to watch good TV. Most of the American stuff (except LOST) is crap. But my dad's always had As Time goes By and Keeping up Appearances on every Saturday night on our PBS station. Up until I was about 12 I just thought they were stupid shows, but then my dad actually had me sit down and watch them. I loved them right away. The humor's great, the acting wonderful and they actually have plots! So I sat in front of the TV that Saturday night copletely amazed. I watched the two mentioned above and then The Vicar of Dibley, Black Adder, Murder Most Horrid (I'm a huge Dawn French fan), Mr. Beane and then, all of our favorite's Red Dwarf. It was late at night, almost 11 ( I was 13) and I had ro beg my dad to watch it, but he finally let me and then it turned into a regular thing. I never missed an episode. That is, untl PBS pulled it off the air. Boy was I ticked. But I'm not going to get into that. So that's my story on how I found Red Dwarf. Hope it's not too long. You rock!!! Ps- Have they bought "Little Britain" out in the US yet?

the last templar Meormorilla Hmm..lemme think.....5 times... 1: Was the radiation leak.... 2: In 'Demons and Angels' when Lister crushed his light bee... 3: As Ace Rimmer, he died... 4: Was in the book 'Backwards' after his light bee melted.... 5: Was in the book 'Last Human' when he sacrificed his life.... Other than that I'm blank, I think something stole my Dwarfian Brain, don't worry, I got back up... 3nodding *looks up from his corner, where he is hunched over and nibbling something* oh. Sorry. Didn't realize you were still using this. Do you want it back then? Lol, yes please!

*makes first post* XD
I find out about Red Dwarf when my friend, Nat started making jokes fom the show over IM and kept telling me how funny it was. One night, she told me to turn the TV on and go to the BBC.
So I did and watched the end of Back in the red (can't remember which number of it though o.o wink .
I thought it was hillarious and got my mum to download as many episodes as possible of it XD

I.... eh-heh heh heh.... you'll laugh at this...... I dont actually remember how i got into Red Dwarf originally, but I got a lot of my friends into it, then when i moved and it wasn't shown anymore, i kinda lost contact with all things smegged. I visited my old friends early last year and they were horrified that i was no longer a follower of the dwarf, they made me sit down and watch polymorph, the episode where JFK is assasinated (That's not chicken, sirs) and (this next one is the one that got me hooked again) Quarantine. I have since bought the first 5 seasons on dvd and am awaiting the 6th season which is released this month

At least for me it was. I only have series one on DVD because it costs around $35 to get one series and that only contains 6 episodes! (if it wasn't RD, I'd call it a rip-off).

I really should go out and try to find the other seasons, I have one and two at home... well, they are the family's, not mine, so I can't take them with me to school. Bugger.
My dad was teacher for a small time in Australia, and my Mum, looking through the tv guide one day found this "SciFi spoof that looks very funny," so we put in on Wendesday night, and yes... were hooked. Entire family. It's great.
Laughs, I really have to get those other seasons, some of my favorite episodes I do believe would be in there.

I earned a bit of money over the summer, enough to buy the seasons i was missing, now, in the wake of my birthday, I have a bit more money with which to buy the next season MWAHAHAHAHAHAH!
