Lutia sighed in relief as they finally reached the airport. "Now, this should be the place." She looked around wondering where to begin her search. Won't be long now...Soon the Jarian base will be restored and I can regain contact with my people..

"That's exactly right, Tic!" P-51 declared, patting the churtle's head once again. "Besides, I thought we could all be friends." that last statement was delivered in an almost sing-songy way, and finished off with a grin that was somewhat lopsided.

"The place for what? A picnic?" Finally registering what Lutia had said, P-51 abruptly leaned over in Lutia's general direction, accidentally putting one hand over Tictac's eye. "Do you have sandwiches??"

Lutia spots a familiar plane sitting out in front of the hanger. The Avion Chanceux. Recalling it as the plane Cadwallander used in the great air race in the past Lutia made her way towards it and began to examine it. Sure enough covering one side of the plane was a replica of the Jarian door. Without betraying a hint of emotion Lutia collected the door from the plane and turned to Nicalin. "Lead the way out of here if you please."

"Hmm? Ah..." Nic straightened, looking up from where she'd been leaning on the rim of the borrowed barrow. She was a little pale under her cap of dark hair, but it wasn't obvious in the patch of shade she'd found. "Air raid? Sounds routine..." she mused, shading her eyes to scan the rest of the airfield, taking in the almost indolent way the people moved. Could she extricate them in the middle of something like this? She wasn't sure. "Let's get somewhere quiet." She called. "I'd hate to do this and get bombed half-way between here and our own bodies."

P-51 did not like the air raid siren. "Arg, that's no fun." she muttered, then spoke to her churtle friend. "Hey, Ticky, let's clear outta here! Maybe those people will let us go with them, huh?"

Lutia glanced around as pilots scrambled together towards the hangar door. Catching sight of a few people who appeared to be civilians rushing away, having heard the announcement mention shelters Lutia called Nics atention. "Somehow I don't think there going towards the fighting, lets follow them."

Following the people the small group lead by Lutia reached an underground bomb shelter. "This should be secure enough. Get us out of here now."

((Sure, but they're about to leave the Mindscape.))
It was quieter in the dimly lit hall. Quieter and cooler, with the bulk of the 'people' further under protection. Nic sighed, leaning on the handles of the barrow, glad for the dark that would help hide their disappearance. She was just reaching for the thread back to the real world when she felt things slip and tightened her grip on the wheelbarrow, half-thinking it was rolling away. It wasn't. It was falling. They were all falling, actually. It was as though the ground had crumbled out from beneath them. Right before the world went dark, a thin thread of silver darted through the black to spiral around Lutia's leg and Bari in the rusted green wheelbarrow. Poor bartender. Looked like he wouldn't be getting it back, after all... And then everything went black...
