October was about to say something to his sister about walking and reading better then she could amble along when he was suddenly thrown off balance and his book clattered to the ground and the Blazer he had over his arm went with it. Blinking from behind askewed glasses he had no idea what had just happened until his eyes fell on Avery. He realized that the guy was staring at him, and had given a somewhat half-hearted appology.
October growled as he leaned over and grabbed his stuff off the ground, trying to dust off his jacket with his hands. "No no, It's absolutely fine. Perhaps I should wear flashing lights and Sirens to alert people to my presence..." He knew he was being a bit surly, but it was only because he was checking the already dented up and scratched book for more damage, and probably wasn't aware he was saying anything at all.

"Hrn, what the..?" Rosemary quickly took a step away from her brother as the onlooker found his way smack dab into him.
"... Oh wonderful..." she sighed heavily, October was going to be so very... pleasant for the rest of the evening after that. Turning her face to look over the man in question, she tried not to scoff, but it couldn't be helped. She was particular about people who would bring any harm to her mirror being. Particular enough to not like them in any way..
"Are you alright brother?"

Hearing the nasty spoken comment as the georgeous blonde bent to retrieve his things he couldn;t help but feel angered. For Godsake it wasn''t just him who hadn''t been watching where he was going.
"Yeah maybe that would detract from your lack of personality." he hissed back angrily.
Noting the woman he quirked and eyebrow at her. Maybe she wasn''t that attractive after all. Then again personality had a lot to do with how a person could be viewed.
"Get the hell over yourself." he murmured as he turned to go. Why did pretty people have to be assholes? the world did not revolve around them no matter how much they thought it did.

October glanced at his sister and put a soothing hand on her arm, turning to look back after Avery he shrugged "I may have been a little... harsh.. but you shocked me.." That was all the concession he was going to make, he knew already if he didn't make some token gesture of piece then his sister was going to come unglued at the seams, and in the end so would the guy that had run into him.
Idly he wondered what Avery would look like as an armchair....
Shaking his head to clear the thought he muttered softly to Rose "It's alright it was just a mistake.."

If it were possible for the hair on the back of her neck to still bristle... it did just then as a sudden flush of hurt anger at the snide remark hit. What did that little leech know anyways?
However the touch of warmth from her brother's hand to her arm calmed her beast and she conceded to being silent of tongue. She still didn't believe that October need apologize, but at the same time she understood it.
"Alright then... if you say so...." her singsong voice whispered back, still with a hint of dismay wrapped around it.

Stopping in his tracks he looked back over his shoulder. Ah crap he had been a d**k and he knew he had been one.
Turning back with a sigh he shook his head "Nah it was my fault. I shouldn't have said that. Sorry" He directed his comments at both of them but he knew he had hurt the girl far more then the man.
"I get a bit mouthy when confronted with people that aren't completely moronic sorry. I should have looked where I was going and I shouldn't have blamed you guys for a lousy night I am having. Anyways hope I didn't ruin your night." he said as he turned again to leave waving a hand back over his shoulder.
Now how to get out of here without running into the possible stalker he now had. He pondered this quietly and to himself.

October tilted his head and glanced back at his sister, offering her a soft but appriciative smile. He took a deep breath and adjusted the pinstripe vest he had on over his white button up shirt, "Hey guy.. before you go running off, you could at least let me know what your name is. Stories arn't as much fun without names to go on the characters.."
He had no idea really why he was trying to be nice, however he had told Rose he wanted to meet people. Couldn't exactly do that by snapping at everyone, and networking in the world of the undead could be very very important.

Rosemary nestled slightly against her brother's side, her slightly pouting features relaxing into a dull but complacent smile. She offered no words after October spoke, but her general being gave off a different feel. The tension died and was replaced with a nearly tranquil aura.
October was right... the boy's name would be useful. He didn't seem to have a stick shoved up his arse at least. And he hadn't had to apologize.. brownie points there. He had the side benefit of her brother's kind words floating towards him.
If October thought he would be alright, then it must be so.

Turning back again he looked suspicious for a moment before he hid the look behind one of intrigue. What could it hurt to give some blood bag his first name?
"Avery." he said quietly before crossing his arms over his chest. "What's your's and hers if she wants to tell?"
Regarding both of them he tried not to lust after those bodies right in front of him it wouldn't do him any good to give away such a weakness.

October actually smiled and tilted his head "October.. October Elsdon and this is my sister.." He glanced down and pulled Rose closer to his side. He was protective of her, but not as protective as she was of him it seemed. The book and jacket still dangling from his fingers, for now quite forgotten, part of him wondered, as he always did when he met someone, what their interactions in the future would do for him.
The light in the room caught on his glasses giving them an almost ethreal and ominous glow for a just a moment, before his rather interested, if reserved light green eyes shone from behind them.
(for who can resist throwing in evil glowy glasses *dies*)

"Rosemary." she quipped out her name quickly and let her head rest against her brother's side. As relaxed as she was now, her instincts still called for her to be wary. Shifting a bit, she gave a quick laugh.
"October maybe we should leave the entrance?" standing near the door all night? Not something she really wanted to do...

"Nice to meet you then." he said smiling a bit in response though he couldn't help but feel like he was being measured a bit here.
Well that was more then enough of being viewed as a piece of meat. He dealt with that all his working night and he was free now.
"She's right that is definitely not the choice spot to stand my man." this time he simply backed away a bit further into the club. Since the guy seemed to like to wait til he turned away to speak to hm he thought maybe he would just stay facing him and then he wouldn't have to turn around every few minutes and look like he had mad cow disease.
"It was nice meeting you October. You too Rosemary." he said slightly awkward. Something was off about these blood specials something almost like maybe they were the special of the day after all. He couldn;t place it but he wasn't sure if it was wise to get too close to them.
((Ebil glasses making my poor baby creeped out. xd ))

October eyed him and shrugged a bit, keeping his arm around his sister he gently guided her into the room. "If you want to join us I wouldn't be adverse, I don't believe Rose would be upset by having someone's company other then mine. I am afraid I am something of a bore.." October had the look of someone who was far from boring, the multicolored hair, the way he stood, the lean musculature. He stood with an easy grace that spoke of a temperment that had seen it's fair share of tussles, and the confidence of someone who usually came out on top.
Slipping his arm from Rose's side he pulled a chair out for her, though he kept Avery in the corner of his eye, not letting the other man out of his sight. "would you like me to pull out your chair as well?"

"Thank you." she whispered up as she took the chair offered. Once seated, she folded her hands gently over her lap before they began to fidget slightly.
Idle hands were the devil's playground, their mother had always said that too them, and now was very bad as the situation was new. She almost wished she had stayed home, she could play then... her harp of course. Her most beloved of hobbies, she never seemed to want to play when she was home. It was when she left that she did.
She nodded, however, when October spoke about Avery. His company wouldn't be resented.. no no. Especially if it kept October from reading. The boy was ... such a nerd at heart she figured.
Ah well, it made him happy.

All of his response towards the no category seemed to flee as the question of wheither he wanted him to pull out his chair registered.
Damned if that didn't sound alot like you were going to sit down Avery he thought to himself as he walked back towards them. Guess he wasn't really giving me the option to go after all.
A quiet laugh escaped his lips as he looked the other man up and down again. Damnit! Why the hotness and in double the damn dose right in front of him.
Quickly slipping a hand out he grabbed a seat and held it out before plunking his a** down in it. Like hell he needed some guy to hold his chair for him. That was paid time if he wanted to treat him as woman.
"Nah I think I can handle that one without bumping into you." he said with an amused tone looking up at the hot blonde with a wink.
