Matachi wasn't able to move as quickly from this slice, it drags across his stomach slicing his new clothes and skin pretty well. Matachi does let out a small gasp as blood begins to trickle from the cut but in return he brings down the sword in a powerful slash downward aiming for his chest.

Sekain opened the doors aldon to his right Nikura to his left as he walked over to Katherine and stood at her side. "Katherine" he nodded looking at her.

Katherine's form lay still she was in a drugged sleep or had been for the past few hours. The stab wound in her back was about healed but her bones would take longer when he enterd and the light shifted her eyes half opened thank goodness the opium still made her blessfully numb. Her skin was still cold to the touch though and she was highly pale, "Sek?.." She blinked a couple times the light was harsh to her.

Mel smiled looking over the water. "No Black.. No that you have never had." She turned looking to him but looked past him there was someone else there who had just stepped behinde Black. Someone went to knok him hard in the back of the head. Hard enough to knok him from his senses.

"I'm Glad you're okay," he said as he held her hand so she could feel his presence instead of having to look at him. Aldon and Nikura stood either side of the door out of respect for their lord. "I promise to kill that b*****d should Matachi fail"

One of Black's assitances seeing she was awake sent someone to fecth Black and another one to get some food something soft he orderd and watched the Queen and Sek. Black would have approved of that.

Katherine went to shake her head and a wince followed she felt stiff everywhere. Her gripp tightend on his hand. "Don't.. Your not a part of it you.." Her eyes were watering again. "You won't come back and i can't have that no matter how brave you are." She ment if he died. he wouldn't be reborn like her or Matachi. Matachi if he didn't come back she would never see again. Not like he was now anyway.

"It seems as though I am, Illomeania approved of my defending you against Alastor. Her and Decimation paid visit to me while I was aiding Matachi on his estate. He may have been born to kill you, but how do you know Matachi or I wasn't born to kill him?"

Katherine moved to try to sit up and winced again. "Help me sit up." Once she had sat up she gave him his answear to that. "Illomeania wants me alive so she can use me. Something i don't believe you have a heart for anymore." She said that softly her voice was still shakey and felt funny. "Matachi, no Set years ago was mortal. He met me, Alastor stalked and killed me. This was lifetimes ago. Set walked onto the scene and listen to Alastor tell him what i was. He then bound himself to me. No one clearly knows what spirit or god listened and granted it maybe it was my creator or maybe it was his own will, but he did that."

"Well you are in no position to stop me fullfilling my duty to defend you. If you die by his hand then he will die by mine. I have nothing to loose. Aldon over there will take my place in Flowing Rivers, it'll give yourself and Matachi more time together without the hassle of that swine" Sekain said a she helped her sit. "As long as my memory lives on, then as will I"
