Taku could be seen almost laying flat on his back, though the branch prevented that as it barely held itself together. "Heh...same old storm twins, eh?" he muttered, knowing they would hear him either from regular hearing, or through the Utesemi he still held. Taku barely had any energy left to fight with...so if the twins decided to, Taku would be in serious danger...but he wasn't provoking them..."

"We're going to find my student you idiot." Soren said cracking his neck and making a slightly disagreeable face at the sound he heard from an old teammate. "You have caused me enough problems with that as it is."

"She's leaving the village out through the only other way she feels safe." he said. "She's moving through the mountains to the Land of Lightning. We've got to try and catch her before she gets to far."

Soren spit on the ground. "Don't fall to far behind."
With that he shot off like a bullet, shooting through the forest towards the mountain pass.

Kei looked around and pressed his body closer to the tree not wanting to get wet from the rain. He looked down on the ground an spotted the gift that that boy had given to Tsukiko, "Tsukiko come back and get me!" Kei whined.

Taku fired one final blast towards the tree's trunk as he heard a loud crack. He hadn't been able to beat the rain, but he didn't do too badly either. With an even louder snap, Taku had completed his goal as he hopped away from the tree, taking shelter under the tree Kei had been using, on the opposite side though. "SO...How'd you get stuck out here?" he asked, not looking at the genin , but rather talking around the tree.

Kei looked up at the stranger, "I'm a cat in the rain, waiting for my master or her sensei to come get me..." Kei moved his body closer to the tree trunk, I shouldn't be out here! I'm a fire type surrounded by water! Not good!

Amidst the storm there was a blustering gale and Soren appeared in the tree branches above Kei. "I'm sorry for having forgotten about you Kei. But your master wants you back." He looked up at the other person across from him. "Oh joy. It's you."

Kei quickly climbed under Soren's cloak and made a climb for his back, "I'm just glad water isn't a problem anymore, I apologize if she was pushy at all... She doesn't like being with out me and I don't like water."

"You're a cat, that's kind of expected." Soren said patting Kei's head gently before looking back to Taku. "Don't get yourself killed. People are going to say that it's my fault if you do. In the meantime, see ya." Amidst the storm there was another gust of wind and the jounin was gone.
