Lilian ran right back in when she heard the tree exploding. She took out the first two pokeballs in her pocket. She tossed out Hurricane and Psy. Her Gyarados took up most of the room in their room but Lilian was focused on the boy. "So Chimera want to explain who this guy is? And should I just have Hurricane fire off a scold? And for Psy to use Psyschock?" She said. Nami was next to Cadaver but now she was right back her eggs protecting them. Sakano glared raising the gun Simon had.

Simon blinked and glanced over at Sakano - or more specifically, the Elemental Pistol. "Could've sworn I locked that away..." he mumbled before returning his attention to the stranger. "Chimera no know... but he not natural," was Chimera's curt reply as he stared the strange boy down. Cadaver immediately gave Chimera an incredulous look, lowering his guard slightly. "Chimera... in case you haven't noticed, the most 'natural' person in the group is Simon, and his Pokémon are all cyborgs, so I'm not even sure he counts," he pointed out. "Yes, but this guy MORE not natural," Chimera insisted. "Dangerous, very dangerous."Cadaver sighed. "Good enough, I guess," he mumbled, returning his attention to the golden-skinned boy. All the while, the strange boy made no move to attack or defend, simply staring at the group... though he seemed the most interested in Chimera, Sakano, and Koras, with only slightly less interest in Simon.

Lilian stepped closer to Koras seeing the boy looking at him. "What do you want?" She glared letting her powers glow. Sakano glared too using her wings to hid Simon a little more. Nami opened her mouth to get a fireball ready.

The young man simply continued to examine the group, though his Alakazam and Venomoth were obviously ready to retaliate if anyone tried something. However, it was at that point that something rather... unexpected happened - Koras's Accelgor Shellhead and Simon's Scizor Lance abruptly broke out of their Pokéballs, walking over to the stranger and starting to talk to him. The young man blinked and smiled slightly down at the two insects, leaning down to converse with them in a series of clicks and buzzes that they, Chimera, and Sakano all seemed to understand... though to the rest, it was complete and utter gibberish. Cadaver blinked, then sighed. "Oh... so he hasn't been answering why he's here because of the language barrier," he murmured, relaxing slightly.

Lilian blinked before looking to Sakano. "Maybe he can only talk bug?" She asked returning her pokemon. Nami swallowed back the fireball burping alittle smoke. Sakano looked to Simon, "You are going to have to invent a speaker for him." SHe said before walking to the man. She calmly asked if he could talk like a human or just like a bug, though she asked in clicks and buzzes. Her wings fluttered.

"No talk not-Bug-tongue; words come out all funny. I use head-talk, but that make not-Bugs nervous for some reason," the strange young man answered calmly. Pretty much the only one who hadn't lowered his guard by this point was Chimera, who was watching the young man warily. Simon blinked. "Love, while I do understand the urgency, SCIENCE does not work like that, I can't just whip something up on the sp - oh, wait, I actually think I have a prototype blueprint for something like this..." He began rummaging through his backpack, looking through the hundreds of blueprints stored there.

Sakano looked at Simon, "Science is about looking at problems and solving them. And he has a problem so you have the power to solve it with science." She said simply before turning back to the man, "Why have you come to use and why doesn't Chimera let his guard down with you?" She asked to get to the bottom of things.

"Needed to see whether your hive is threat to Beetle's hive," the strange boy clicked back. "So far, only threat seems to be mish-mash not-Bug. No know why he hostile."Simon, meanwhile, was tinkering with a small gadget in the form of a medallion, muttering to himself; if you listened closely, you could pick out key phrases like "language matrix", "inter-species language" and "That wire does NOT go there, so why the heck is it there?" Koras just watched with steadily growing bafflement, trying to figure out what was going on here.

"And who is Beetle?" Sakano asked. Lilian sweat-dropped before turning to Koras. "Not wanting to sound like the general wife but are you going to get out of bed any time soon?" She asked crossing her arms. She smiled showing she was teasing. Lilian wasn't going to let the new character get in between Koras and her gettign another badge.

"Beetle is Beetle," the strange young man answered simply, pointing to himself. "Beetle need make sure there no threats to Beetle's hive.Koras looked rather sheepish at that, getting out of bed and kissing Lilian on the cheek.

Lilian smiled before kissing him back before looking at Sakano. "What did he say?" She asked. Sakano looked to Lilian, "He says his name is Beetle and was protecting his home." She said. Nami sighed before getting up and going to Cadaver. She told him she was getting breakfast. Nami came back with a basket of berries.

Cadaver blinked. "Oh... okay then." With that, he dismissed the incident as just another crazy thing, leaning over to kiss Nami lovingly. Simon, meanwhile, soon finished the translator and put it around Beetle's neck, only to pause and start examining the boy's arm. "Uh, Beetle? Are you aware that your skin is actually an extremely reinforced exoskeleton?""Yes; it's always been that way," Beetle spoke simply, the translator translating his clicks and buzzes into English for all non-bug-types present... though to the bugs, it still sounded like insect-tongue. Koras just reached over and grabbed a few berries, starting to stuff himself, though Chimera was still watching their guest as if he was going to go on a rampage any second now

Lilian quickly had all the pecha berries smiling. She moaned happily biting in to one. Nami giggled at her friend knowing how much she loved pecha berries. Lilian's egg glowed in her bag. She picked up her egg as she ate some more. Sakano walked over to Chimera, "What is wrong with Beetle?" She asked him

"Dangerous, not natural," Chimera repeated insistently, once again not elaborating very well... probably a side effect of his limited language skills. "Need watch out."Koras smiled slightly at Lilian's behavior, leaning over to teasingly lick the berry's juices off her chin. Beetle, meanwhile, was standing still, watching patiently as Simon kept examining his peculiar biology with interest.

Sakano took Chimera's warning and took Simon's hand then pulled him away from the boy. "You did an amazing job on the speaker, love." She said kissing the scientist to distract him from the invention. She then turned back to the boy. "So Beetle now that you know we aren't going to harm your hive or home, you can be on your way." Sakano said. Nami stood up ready to help Sakano get this guy out. Lilian, though, was too busy purring and cuddling Koras close after he licked her chin.
