"No problem." he murmured, helping Dai put his stuff away. Looking around his apartment, he blinked, realising he hadn't thought of one thing. His bed. Sure it was a huge bed, but still. Glancing over at the kid, he coughed delicately and looked out toward the balcony doors. "Well.. there is one small problem. I... forgot I only have one bed." he murmured, his cheeks twinging in color for what seemed like the millionth time that day.

The boy merely smiled and idly ran his fingers through his hair. "I'll sleep on the floor then. Unless...you don't mind sharing." The man's blush sent him into a fit of surpressed giggles and he coughed to try and cover them up, though he felt he failed to do so effectively.

Flushing, he shrugged, "You don't have to sleep on the floor. You are mature enough to handle it, right?" he asked, narrowing his eyes and he turned and glanced at the boy. "So um.. rules. No making a mess. You have to do chores and stuff.. like dishes, just like me. And.. we have to split the rent." Sighing, he looked at the boy, "Do you want to call in or go back to work?" he asked, moving to sit on a nice futon in front of a decent sized tv.

"I should probably get back to work, because I missed a bit last week...but it's too warm in here to go back out there, so i'll call in." He said, smiling a bit. "Where's your phone?"

Nodding, Synei trotted over to where the phone was on the kitchen wall. "Right here." he muttered, "You can tell them that I got sick and you had to stay with me." he added before he walked into his bedroom to change into more comfortable clothes.

Dai nodded and, after slipping off his jacket, phoned the club to tell them just that. Once done, he wandered around a bit, curiously looking around at his new home.

Synei took off his clothes and slipped into some pajama bottoms before he remembered he left the laundry to dry on the balcony before it had suddenly gotten cold and hadn't brought it in. Sighing in annoyance, he went outside and quickly grabbed the laundry before coming inside, freezing cold as he hadn't worn a shirt. Rubbing up and down his arms, he held the frozen clothes and put them in the laundry basket. He would have to pay to dry them now. Frowning, he went to get another t-shirt, still a bit miffed he could wear the matching top to his pajamas.

Dai walked in just then, and instantly his face turned red at his lack of shirt. "Sorry!" He squeeked quickly before fleeing the room. He entered another and closed the door, still blushing, to get changed. His pajamas consisted of silky wing-print bottoms and a matching white tanktop. He changed into those quickly and then scooted out into the livingroom, his blush having died down by now.

Snickering to himself, the man quickly pulled on a warm t-shirt and went out to the kitchen, filling the tea kettle with water and put it on the small stove. Glancing around the room, he felt a smile grow onto his lips as he realized he wouldn't have to come home to such an empty place anymore, even if he didn't necessarily want the boy to the be the one he came home to, he told himself. Waiting for the annoying whistle from the kettle, he leaned back against the counter, pulling his hair out of it's normal ponytail, he shook the long locks out, sighing to himself.

Dai smiled and walked over to him, settling at his side. "I like your hair." he spoke after a moment of silence. "Do you mind if I touch it?" He knew it must have been a stupid request, and because of that a faint pink came to his cheeks, but he didn't back down. He wanted to feel it and see if it was as soft as it looked.

Synei nearly jumped as the boy came out of nowhere to him. Glancing down at the boy who complimented him, he raised an eyebrow and gave a small nod, wondering what the boy wanted to touch his hair for. Looking over the kid's face as he gave the boy permission, he waited, wondering if the kid wouldn't pet his hair too long.

At his nod, Dai stepped forward and gently ran his fingers through the man's long hair. He smiled at the feel of it and ran his fingers through again and again, practically petting him. "It feels nice and soft." He said, sweeping his fingers through again.

He was fine at first, but when they boy kept at it, his eyes began to want to close, enjoying it slightly. Looking down at the boy, his mouth parted slightly and he reached out, his hand covering the boy's and slowly pulling it away, his hand wrapping around the boy's smaller one longer than was really necessary. Synei ignored how his heart was racing as he looked at the kid as the whistle began to blow from the teapot. Moving over, he removed it from the heated burner and grabbed two cups. "Wh-What kind of tea do you like?" he asked, unable to keep a small tremor out of his voice. "I have black, green, jasmine, and chamomile."

"Green, please." He answered quietly, fiddling with his hands. He'd really enjoyed petting the man, and flushed because of it.

Synei's hands were shaking as he poured the hot water into the tea. How the hell was he going to sleep that night? He was wondering quite a bit as he added some sugar while the tea was steeping. Turning back, he glanced at the boy, "Kid, go see if there is something on tv or something.." he grunted out.
