Dai reached out and grabbed his arm before he could go. "Or...you could help me get my stuff now. I'm sure my break can last for a few more minutes." He spoke gently, timidly.

The boy brightened and nodded. He moved forward two steps and wrapped him up in a quick hug, bolting off to get his coat before the man could react. "Be right back!" he called, laughing to himself.

"Really?" he was imenselly hungry from working but he didn't know it was that obvious, "Well what about a classic burger, fries, and a soda. Oh! And hold the onions on the bur.... ger," he was alittle embarrased at what he was ordering.

Blinking as he was still in a state of shock, he allowed the boy to pull him along, the smaller hand fitting into his perfectly. Looking down, he blushed, unsure as to if he should pull his hand away or not. Pulling his jacket tighter around himself, he followed the boy, swallowing nervously. Was it really such a good idea to have this kid around? He didn't want to be with anyone and he regretted opening his mouth at the restaurant. He didn't want to be left again. It was bad enough to know that he was going to die alone, he didn't want to feel even worse knowing someone had gotten tired of him. Biting his bottom lip, he ignored the stares some people were giving them, seeing the two men hold hands.

Looking around the apartment, he looked at Dai. How could anyone exist in a space this small? His apartment was at least two times the size of this one. "Probably 20 minutes away from work. Do you care about any of the furniture? I have my own, you know." he said, pointing out the obvious. It would be decently easy to carry the rest over by taxi, he supposed. Shivering in the freezing apartment even with his coat on, he looked at Dai, "Do you want to start while I go call a taxi?" he asked, rubbing his gloved hands together after letting go of Dai's.

Nodding, he went outside and used a payphone nearby, dialing up a taxi. It was funny how that room seemed colder than it was outside in the snow. Finally he got through and asked a taxi to come pick them up. He put the phone back and waited for both the taxi and Dai to come outside. Synei didn't want to impose on the kid, and if it had been him, he would have been embarrassed to live in that sort of place, not that he hadn't before.

Synei nodded and looked over at what little the boy had. Frowning, he reached over and took most of it in his arms as the cab pulled up. Leaning down while shifting the stuff to one arm, he opened the door and waited for the kid to get in before getting in himself and telling the driver where to go. His apartments were the most fancy, but it was one that tended to be used for middle class people. Once they got there, he opened the door again and paid the driver, leading the boy up to his apartment and letting him inside the warm and spotless apartment. "This is it.." he murmured. It was a medium sized two room apartment with a small bathroom. Slipping off his shoes, he set the boy's stuff down and went over to his clothes, which was organized and neat. "You can put some stuff in here, ne, at least, most everything but your clothes." Taking off his coat he walked back to the entrance and hung it on a small hook along with his keys and his gloves.
