I don't care so much about the weapon level so much as those two swords being in the game. Like Amelia said, they don't have to be as powerful as they were in their original games. So if they weren't S level it wouldn't be a problem.

I suppose the Sword of Seals reasoning makes sense. I just wish we could have more than one sword. I mean, really... if you look at the Resistance members list in Rei's summary, there are at least five sword users: Blossom, Abel, Alihi (if she is implemented as a fighting unit), Stefan, and Luna. I believe Lyre is going to be put in as a Thief character, and both Amelia and Uther can use Swords as Generals. That boosts the number to 7, possibly 8. Matthew is on the Resistance, too, so that's 8 or 9. Not even including what Tibarn, Janaff, and Lyre would be put in as if the mauthedoog sprites don't work (which I believe they don't?).
I guess I just have to deal when you say that there's only one S-ranked sword, Rath, but when you think of just HOW MANY sword-users we have, it would be logical to have two S-ranked swords.
But like I said, I'll just deal. I've had my two cents, and I'll be quiet now.

So if it isn't S level and it isn't overly powerful it should be fine then.

You could make the Sword of Seals the same rank as the Light Brand/Runesword/Wind Blade group, since they all pretty much work the same way...

Fine, I should've dropped the subject earlier, but I was just saying, is all.
So Stefan having an A-rank sword named Vague Katti would be totally within limits, then. Stefan isn't really Stefan if he doesn't come with a Vague Katti, after all.
@Roy: That's a very good point... I'm pretty sure the long-range swords are A-rank.

Ok, here's an example.... Vaida's spear. It should get stat boosts the same way it did in-game. [we can also rename it to uber-spear. XD]
Stefan can get a nice a-rank named vague katti.
I'm still against the Sword of Seals... it's too powerful a sword to be made A-rank, but I don't think Roy should have it. That is ultimately Vika and Nino's decision.

Amelia- I'm planning on making Alihi a fighting unit, but honestly, there's no way she could use anything higher than a C-ranked sword, if I keep in mind her tactician days (since in her centric fic that I still need to finish, she could wield a Lancereaver)...
Still, she's probably going to stick with the good ol' iron sword. 8D;;

It totally should, as Vaida is one of the Resistance leaders. xD Plus, like with Stefan, Vaida's not Vaida if she doesn't have her Uber-Spear.
Maybe the Sword of Seals' statistics could be decreased a little? I mean, it doesn't have to be the same as the actual Sword of Seals, I just think it'd be nice to see Roy with a Sword of Seals sword.
@Nils: Ahh. Okay. XD Yeah, soooo many sword users... we'll all have to be smart and not use all of them at once!

The last level should have multiple floors. Or make it x amount of levels. (x = floors) And I don't see why there can only be one S-rank weapon for each type, but whatever.

And, as funny as it sounds, I don't want Nils running around whacking people on the head with his flute.

So that's settled then. I figure Vague Katti doesn't have to give a stat boost. I like the idea of a really heavy sword with lots of power and decent crit chance (10-15). That would fit my impression of Stefan, who is bigger than most swordmasters.
