"Its not your fault. you don't have to be sorry." He kissed her cheek softly.
He woke up, not realizing he had fallen asleep. He looked down at the still sleeping Maki in his arms. "I'm not giving up on you." He whispered and kissed his head gently.

Maki smiled softly and snuggled in to him happily
she leaned on him "he's my brother now too Kent..." she said softly

He held her close. "I know." He buried his face in the bend of her neck and shoulder. "I can't help taking it all on me. Its my protective nature." He said softly.
"I know my Makis in there somewhere." He said even softer. "I know you are."
She snuggled close to him in her sleep. Her arm draped over his chest.

he was awake now, staring up at the ceiling blankly as he held her
"hmm" he sighed happily as he slept
"I know..." she said softly "but try to relax"

He kissed Makis head again and pulled him closer.
"Roy..." She said sleepily.

He nuzzled her neck, just holding her made him feel like the world wasn't falling apart.
"Yeah." He looked down at him.
She opened her eyes slowly and looked up at him, "I love you."

She smiled and scooted up higher to give him a small kiss before getting out of bed. She walked to their bathroom.
"Yeah of course I came. Are you alright?" He was worried Maki had hurt himself when he fell.
He sighed softly. He wanted the world to stop right now. Just for a little while.

"I wanted to see you. and it doesn't matter what people think, you know that." He was trying to figure out what age Maki was now. He defiantly wasn't five any more.
She came back out a few minutes later. She had a robe on. "What are you thinking about?" She asked as she fished in the dresser for a few things.
