~At the Hospital~
“Mrs *Kayla’s mom*?”
Kayla's mom stands “How is Preston?”
“He’s stable, he has a concussion and his neck and spine took some damage, so he’ll need to wear a neck brace for the next three months, and come in for some physical Therapy. He’s going to need to take it easy, so that his injuries do not become aggravated; if the spine swells it can cause permanent nerve damage. It will take some, but with proper rest and exercise, he should make a full recovery.”
Kayla finds her mom shortly after “How is Preston?”
“They say he will be all right, but…” she tells Kayla what the doctor told her.

Jenna and Veronica spend the night sleeping in the waiting room. About 1 A.M. (3 hours of surgery later) the doctor comes out. “Mrs. Daine?”
“Yes?”
“I have good news, we managed to fix the Damage to Mr. Daines Abdomen, we had to remove his spleen, since it had been ruptured, but we were able to repair the damage to the liver, and it looks as though there wont be any permanent damage to the spine. He’s stable, and you should be able to see him when he wakes. He will be pretty groggy, and he does need his rest, so you’ll need to keep the visit short.”
“I, thank you, do you know when he will wake up?”
“I’ll make sure a nurse comes and lets you know when he wakes.”
“I appreciate that.”
