" Uh..No, it's okay. " She replied in a soft voice. She watched as he remained motionless on the grass; he was evidently enjoying himself or was extremly lazy. Either way, it was evident he didn't wish to be moved. No matter how shy and incomfortable she felt, it would be rude to ask him to move so that she could continue her target practice.

She stared up at the sun. It was nearly noon, but there was no humidity at all. It was a perfectly, nice summer day. The type of day perfect for relaxing and hunting. The summer wind blew gently and the trees swayed with an almost trancing song. She looked back over at the boy, who was still simply laying down with his eyes held shut. It was a bit akward with him sitting behind her. She just wasn't used to it at all.

In an astranged attempt at something new, Shiia gathered up and courage she possessed and tried to make a conversation.
" It shouldn't be THAT hard. "She thought. Her dad did it all the time with those elves from the other villages and he had usually would talk with the villagers after a hunt with Shiia. " Uh...so... " She began, still speaking rather softly. She paused for a moment, trying to decide what to do next. " My name is Shiia. "

The boy didn't respond and Shiia felt even worse. " Why didn't he respond? Did I do something wrong? ". She pulled the arrow from the ground and placed it back in her quiver before standing up to leave. She looked back over at the boy as he laid in the grass. He looked so serine and tranquil, most likely because he was day dreaming.

She turned toward the school and began to walk away, but she realized she had no idea where to go. She stood there, thinking, before she finally thought of a familar place and set off for the forest.

Reizo watched the elven girl, a bit intrigued by her. She seemed a bit vunerable. It wasn't that she looked vunerable. No, it was merely the way she carried herself. Having her as a victim seemed like a marvelous idea. He believed she was bit weak, so he figured it would be easy.

Shrugging, he followed Shiia, fully aware of the fact that she would most likely notice him. It wasn't as if he was trying to be stealth or anything of the sort. He was simply trying to find company.

Maelie's wandering path from the gates had eventually brought her to the school's courtyard, since she had decided it was the best place to go sit. When she got there, she was a little dismayed to see the other people there. It doesn't bother me, she told herself firmly, though that was a lie. She found a grassy spot away from the others in the courtyard and sat, absently rearranging and straightening her clothing. After a moment, she opened the notebook she was carrying. So far, all of the pages were blank. She usually bought a new one for every school she started at, even if her last one wasn't full yet. It was nice to be able to start fresh. She had intended to write something, perhaps an introduction that she could use whenever she met a new person instead of having to write it out fresh each time. Instead, she found herself doodling. Randomly drawn lines on the paper eventually formed themselves into the shapes of the courtyard in front of her. She scowled at the paper, as though it were somehow the notebook's fault that she had started drawing, but made no move to stop.

Maru suddenly woke up to find that the girl was no longer there with him. Man, this felt stupid. He must have fallen asleep. That would mean he was really tired to immediately fall asleep. He still wanted to talk to her though. As he though of her, the name Shiia cam into his head. He hadn't heard her say that while consious, but could have seeped into his head while he was asleep. He got up and knew that she could be anywhere in the school.

As he walked out of the courtyard, he thought of where whe would be. Well, she was practicing. She seemed to really like the summer air, so she would be outside somewhere. Forest would have also been the closest place, so that's where he headed.

Maria could hardly believe what she was seeing.

("This... is only the courtyard...?") she thought to herself helplessly. She felt like there wasn't any hope left in the world, when just a bright thought hit her.

("That's it! I can check the school records!") she thought while smiling, walking towards the school. She suddenly stopped in her tracks, getting a view of the clear lake. It was beautiful. Thinking to herself, she decided to give herself some time and enjoy the view while she still could. She sat down on a bench with her legs shifted to the side, sitting very lady-like. Maria was a sucker for naturally beautiful things. Flowers, Oceans, Rain, Snow, all of the sort. She smiled lightly, feeling hypnotized by the lake.

The moment was gone as he hand felt a hole in the bench. She looked down, and it immediatly caught her eye. A splintered hole, the size of a 9mm round. She looked on the ground and in fact her luck was showing when she picked up a 9mm blank round. She felt a rush of adrenaline pumping through her.

("Only he could've done this, a normal school with students carrying firearms? It doesn't make sense, he has to be here!") she thought excitedly. But that excitement soon died.

("...but what did he use his firearm for...") she thought, feeling more worried than ever.

Maelie looked up, distracted from her drawing by the appearance of someone else in the courtyard. She was a little annoyed, but since she had already finished with that section of the courtyard, she simply left the girl out. Most of the people there were simply left as indistinct blobs anyways, since she was really trying to draw the courtyard, so it didn't bother her as much as it would have otherwise. Within a few more minutes, she was finished, and propped the notebook up against her knees to examine her work. Not bad, I guess, for drawing in pen, she decided after a moment, looking satisfied in spite of herself. With that done, she turned the page and started writing like she had intended to when she first got there. She was writing on the back of her picture, so rather than writing the introduction she had thought about, it turned into a sort of journal of what had happened so far today, and a rambling description of the school. After a moment's thought, she wrote 'Dear Ma,' at the top, and resolved to send it to her mother when she got the chance. Oddly, the decision to write to her mother was starting to make her feel homesick, and after a few moments she closed the notebook and simply sat hugging it to her chest, the letter only half-written.

(( Sorry I was gone so long, I was ill))
Huxley watched Inori trying to stand up. Whats wrong with her? He asked him self standing up to see if he could catch her if she fell, but alas he missed her every time. When she fell down in font him, took out a step back out of habit. What the?

He knelt next to Inori and put an arm around her waist then put her arm round his neck. He silently counted to three before standing up taking Inori, with him. Since she tried to walk Huxley naturally assumed that she want to go some where so he tilted his head towards her and asked.

“Where do you want to go?”

Maria bit her thumb, not sure what to think anymore. She decided it wasn't going to help her by standing around hoping something would happen. She adjusted her bag slung over her shoulder so it felt more comfortable as she headed towards the school.

As Sadie arrived to the courtyard, she was happy to notice that it was fairly deserted, with only a few students milling around, minding their own business. Perfect, now I can get some peace. she thought, and began walking through the trees, searching for a comfortable tree to sit under and read. Overall, the entire courtyards was relatively shady and quiet, but there weren't many comfortable trees, and Sadie soon found herself under a tree in close proximity of another girl who was hugging a notebook. For a moment, Sadie thought that maybe she should make sure she was alright, but decided against it. Opening her book to where she left off, she began to read again.

Finally, Sadie put down her book and turned to the girl. "I'm sorry for disturbing you, but... are you alright?"

Katherine arrived in the courtyard, looking about to see if her beloved friend was there. Unfortunately, she did not see her. Frowning, she then sat down onto the ground, fiddling with the blades of grass surrounding her. She thought about using magic on them, but quickly reconsidered it knowing that she would get in trouble if she did. Oh wait... She thought, grinning, I'm not home. The thought made her joyous, for she was finally free, she could do whatever she wanted.

But she still hadn't found Jessica.

Hopefully I won't run into that guy again... Jessica thought to herself as she walked into the courtyard. Her eyes were focused on her hand that Blaze had healed. Of course she was greateful that he had healed her, but he was the one who had hurt her in the first place. What was it and people with pointless violence? Magic could be used without violence, why didn't people understand?

With her acute hearing, Katherine noticed the fact that someone was entering the courtyard. Probably just some troubled student but not.. "Jessica!?" Katherine yelled happily, looking over and seeing her friend. Once she got to her feet she ran over to her friend hugging her so tightly that beathing might be an issue.

Maelie looked up, startled, when she heard a voice speaking nearby. She looked around, not having noticed that someone had come over to her, and spotted another girl sitting nearby under a tree. For a moment, she didn't realize that she was talking to her, and glanced around to see who she had spoken to. When it dawned on her that she was the only other person nearby, and that the girl was probably waiting for a response, she quickly flipped to a fresh sheet of paper in her notebook, and wrote her reply. She turned the notebook around after a second, so that it was visible. Across the top of the page, she had carefully written -Yes, I'm fine. But thank you.- She smiled a little sadly, wishing that she could have replied out loud.

"Katherine!" Jessica said in reply, hugging her friend in return. "Don't. Squeeze. So. Tightly." She then added, acting as if Katherine was choking her to death. She then let go of Katherine and looked at her, the smile still not fading. "I can't believe you came!" She said to her truthfully. For she knew back at home Katherine wasn't going through abuse or anything, so there was no reason for her to escape. Furthermore, she also knew when Katherine informed their parents about going to Koi High School with Jessica it must've been a horrid experience for her.
